Due in December 05

OK, it's way too early to test yet, and I'm probably tempting fate here, but I've got classic morning sickness, the dates are just about right, and I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. And I've always wanted to start one of these due in threads .

And if the blue line winks at me in 10 days time, then I'll come clean and post under my real nickname.

Any one else?

Hello ladies,

Congrats Gold'On the B?day and re the 12th of Dec!!!!!

I?m sure I?m biased- but Christmas just seems to make it all more exciting!

Nemo- you really are almost on the big day its self!

Kitstar · 14/04/2005 12:36

Went to look at baby type mags yesterday- and found myself flicking through fashion glossies instead checking out little summer dresses ad killer heals? it suddenly occurred to me I really don?t feel preg yet & felt like a bit of a fraud looking at mags with photos of women with big tummies!

Starting to whish I had a few more ?symptoms?, as the few that I had up until the start of this wk- tired/ emotional & a bit achy- have gone? despite everything that's going on personally- physically I feel great? which I?m sure sounds kinda lucky, but is actually getting a bit disconcerting? Anyone had anything similar?

Thanks loads Scully for the link- v interesting- just need to find a glossary of what all these terms mean!

Kit x

scully · 14/04/2005 13:27

Kit I'm still trying to remember what all the abbreviations on mumsnet are
I know what you mean, it is nice to have a few more symptons so you feel 'more' pregnant, but enjoy it now when you feel fine, that chucky feeling could be lurking 'round the corner

Leah4 · 14/04/2005 13:58

Hello everyone and congratulations. Can I still join? I am five weeks pregnant and due 16 December. Not had much pregnancy symptoms except for feeling very bloated for the past two weeks! Trousers waist already feeling tight - seems too soon! Doctor has advised I will not be seeing the Midwife until I am 16 weeks. Is this common?

dramaqueen72 · 14/04/2005 14:52

hello ladies, i'm nervously creeping over here as i am starting to believe my four HPT and am pg with #4. due christmas eve!
recently (jan) had a missed m/c and had one also before dd2, so this is nerveracking and yet exciting all at once.
I see theres LOADS of you here, I'll have to sit and read all your stats.
nemo, see? i did it! i came here, just like you told me to!

Nemo1977 · 14/04/2005 15:50

goldenoldie · 14/04/2005 19:11

Eeek! just found out it's twins!

Nemo1977 · 14/04/2005 19:22

golden...honestly wow...lol

dramaqueen72 · 14/04/2005 20:01

thanks sallie! leah, yes if youre fit and healthy I guess your Dr would wait. our first appointment aroudn here is wk 12. I get ot go early because of past m/c's.
golden -twins/ wow congrats!
kitstar, thats exactly it, until i'm abit further along i feel abit of a fraud too!
boowidger- sound just like normal early pg to me, the rise in hormones affects your taste buds and you do indeed go off most things. also if your craving carbs its just your body feeling tried and storing energy. I cant find anything i fancy eating today but have been making myself eat to keep healthy.
anyone feeling anything else? i've got that heavy not quite crampy feeling at the bottom of my tummy, i know its normal but its always a worry crampy feelings! I'm also tired and emotional! with a capital E!!!!

Nemo1977 · 14/04/2005 20:05

DQ nausea is lurking but has been for a week and ive been really crampy and burping loads...lovely i know but other than that not a lot am fretting as usual and am going to see my gp on mon so hopefully will get referral for early scan..hoping for one around 7wks i think. Although am working out at the min that i think i am around 4+3 weeks so due around 17th/18th...as i ov early for such a long cycle

boowidger · 14/04/2005 20:17

Congrats Golds!! I had the slight crampy feeling until a couple of days ago but feel better now. The worst thing i've had so far is terrible constipation (sorry!) last week but got through that by drinking lots of water and eating bran flakes every morning! I'm still v emotional and the littlest things set me off and i'm more tired than i've ever been - slept till 2pm today (it's my day off) and it was only the phone ringing that woke me!! Hi to Leah and Dramaqueen.

Nemo1977 · 14/04/2005 20:26

boo am soo jealous of ur sleep in my 18mth old had me up at 6.30..sigh
I dont have constipation in fact the opposite but have had that with all my pregnancies

ebbie22 · 14/04/2005 20:31

hello to you all...Found out just over a week ago that I got a bfp,so can i join your gang..lol

dramaqueen72 · 14/04/2005 22:49

Nice to see you all have very similar pg signs to me. phew.
I'm emotional too, not cross or snappy but tearful and soppy! nice tho, thats somethings happening to us to make this alittle more real for those of us in early early stages.
usually between wk 6 and 8 i get very sick! uh-oh! but you know, after m/cs you tend to get pleased about feeling sick and knowing the hormones are still going strong! LOL, remind me i said that in a few weeks!!
hello ebbie! theres quite a few of us isnt there due in dec, anyone done a round up yet?

expatinscotland · 14/04/2005 23:20

Qc hope ur ok hun see u didnt post yesterday..take care

quietlycautious · 15/04/2005 08:44

Morning,

Wow lot's to catch up on!!!

Welcome to Leah, Dramaqueen and Ebbie22 - Ebbie, think I've come across you on ttc before - have you been trying for quite a while?!?!?!?! Also Ebbie, whens your due date so I can add you to the list!!!!

Leah - personally I think 16 weeks seems quite late for your first appointment. Here you would have seen the midwife twice by then AND had a scan. Plus if they don't see you until 16 weeks how can they do the test for down syndrome?!?!? Or is that an extra scan you have to pay for in your area.
Here you get a scan at 12 weeks where they measure the neucal fold in your babies neck - it gives you a idea of how high the risk is of your baby having downs. It has to be done between 11 and 13 weeks though.

Goldenoldie TWINS Gosh You'll have your work cut out for you but Congratulations!!!! How did you find out???

Nemo, I'm glad to hear you've had the opposite to constipation!!!! I've had the same but never experienced it before so was wondering what was happeneing. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one
