Hello all, ok if I join in? BFP a couple of weeks ago, but been offline until now. Think am due around the 7th according to LMP date, but cycle not that predictable, so will see what scan date says.

Hope you are all feeling ok, am shatered and feeling huge already, but not too bad on the sickness front so far (fingers crossed). My waist is up 4" already, I'm never going to keep this to myself till 12 wks if it carries on like this!

This is DC no2 for us, have DS 18mo.

oh suprise! add yourself back in! i am going to go and look for you! Hormones make it so difficult to work through your emotions. we are all in the same postion though so cry away.

surprise - hope you feel better soon. Do you think your dh will come round to the idea of dc3 anytime soon? Perhaps when you have some scan photos, it will make it 'tangible' for him? I hope so because early pg is a very hormonal time and I guess his support would be good for you right now.

Does everyone else feel huge already? Not in a weight-gain sense but in a hormonal, pre-menstrual sense? Because I do!!!

Am trying to get DH to come round. He keeps saying little things that make me think he has, then he holds his head in his hands and says 'we can't have another child'.

I can see where he's coming from but I know we would cope, we would have to, it's not an ideal situation I agree, but it is a situation we are in and we have to deal with it.

I resent him so much at the moment, I can't even talk to him.

surprise, you need love and support right now. He will come round. It's so much harder for them as they don't have the whole 'it's part of me' thing, and often think of pregnancy as something which women 'do'. My DH is pleased (planned) but still has the odd head in hands moment...makes me want to kick him in the offending testicles...

surprise, your situation sounds really tough emotionally atm but although you don't feel like talking to your dh atm, sometimes the solution lies with more talking, not less? Why is he so concerned with having dc3?

I would say give him some time surprise - it takes a lot longer for men to process the idea of it I think, because they don't have the hormones kicking in! Just give him some space and see what happens.

have been feeling awful all week hence not posting - completely exhausted by sister's visit and then DP away and DS being, ahem, let's say 'challenging'!

DP back now, I spent most of the weekend in bed, and life is improving. Even managed to vacuum the lounge, which is quite a feat

Morning everyone. Thought I should show my face as I have been missing for a while. Everything is fine, just been really busy at work and at home and finding it difficult to keep up with you guys!

Sorry to see that we have lost a couple. Just found out that one of my friends had a m/c last week at 11 week. Avoiding telling her my news just at the moment as I'm scared of upsetting her all over again.

Have just spent about 40 minutes reading through and catching up on how you all are. A lot of ms out there. I feel fine, except I feel like my heart is going a bit quicker than it should .... any ideas??

Sorry to those who have had bad news over the weekend.

I treated myself to a good bottle of wine and a selection of unpastuerised cheeses after my MC last month and wrote a list of things I could do while not pregnant (e.g. diving, horse riding etc) but got pg again before I had even managed to dust off my jodphurs. Hope all goes well for you both.

Feeling utterly wretched so am optimistic that this is a good strong pregnancy. My mother is coming to stay tomorrow afternoon though. Dreading her coming. Am feeling ratty and tired and bloated and sick and she will expect to be looked after, taken around on excursions, cooked for etc etc. I don't want to tell her I'm pg until at least 12 weeks. sigh

I found out yesterday that I'm PG with my first baby! I'm in total shock - it was only our second month of TTC!

I'm due 27th April according to GP, but 24th April according to me (I have a short cycle)!
Either way...a Spring baby if all goes to plan...

Hi ladies

I have a question... I am 6.5 weeks with no.2 and I have a 3.5 year old son who just insists on doing things like:

Pressing on my lower tummy ( using it as a platform to put all his weight as he climbs over me! )/ INsisting on being carried down the stairs / kicking me in the gut when playing or lying on the bed...

I am worried to death after I miscarried around this time in March.

Can anyone put my mind to rest that they were fine even with a young child doing all the things to them that the books say not to!
