Come on I can't be the ONLY one!!! I got my BFP this morning - I think I'm due around the 12th March...

No real symptoms yet other than slightly weary this afternoon, and quite bad backache.

Not too hopeful JUST yet as very early days and had a m/c last year. Already have a DD (2.5)

Don't leave me here on my own too long!!

Hopingcat, you might just be lucky! I've heard of that happening before where the sickness has just stopped after a few weeks, and all was okay

I'm really struggling with the sickness/tiredness - can't keep anything down. Is sooo tough with a toddler to keep busy too - I just want to curl up in a ball and sleep. Everytime I sit up I want to throw up. Hope everyone else is okay...

I will get round to updating the list with my details, but not just yet - can feel the toilet bowl calling

NattyPlusTwoAndaHalf · 24/07/2008 22:37

could i be removed from the list please? lost my baby this afternoon, been in a&e all day.
thank you

Natty so sorry

Playingthe9monthwait · 25/07/2008 08:59

Hoping, you are not the only one who symptoms have reduced. I felt pretty darn good yesterday and still do again today. Now I do have bad wind , sore boobs, have put on weight and am weary, but I have nothing like the amount of nausea and exhaustion that I have had the past couple of weeks. I'm trying really hard not to worry about it, but I think naturally it is only normal to be concerned. Thankfully I am seeing the MW on Weds who is taking my bloods (apparently it was too early when I booked in) so I plan to ask her if by then they haven't returned with avengence.

Morning everyone else.

auntyspan · 25/07/2008 09:07

Hopy / Playing - I'm exactly the same. I haven't retched for about a week and other than a migrane yesterday, and being shattered, I have no other symptoms. I had more symptoms when I was 4 weeks.... at this point with DD i was barfing right left and centre.

I guess what will be will be. Lets face it - worrying isn't going to help is it?!

Playingthe9monthwait · 25/07/2008 09:20

Morning Aunty, well its nice to know other people are going through this as well! As you said, what will be will be, nothing we can do to change that. A good friend on our ttc thread has recently had a mmc at 10 week, apparently her bean died at 7 1/2 weeks but up until she got the first bit of blood at week 10 she had still be getting lots of pg symptoms. So not even symptoms guarentee a healthy pg! Nothing we can do but wait, rest and hope; the odds are on our side after all!

calsworld · 25/07/2008 09:32

Natty, sorry to hear your news, hope you're OK.

Hoping, whilst I do agree with what everyone here has said, I also think that it doesn't hurt to speak to a doctor (or MW if you've booked in) to get peace of mind from someone professional. Sometimes you should just go on your own instincts - that's not to say that I think anything is wrong, I don't, but I am wondering if perhaps the only way you will be able to put it out of your mind and relax and enjoy the 'wellness' is if someone in medical profession provides that reassurance? And to reiterate, I really don't think anything is wrong.

I feel much better this morning than yesterday but suspect it will decline as the day goes on - I'm not complaining though , at least, I'm trying not too! I promised myself that I wouldn't after months of TTC!!

dinny · 25/07/2008 09:40

I'm feeling less ropey this morning than I have for a while too

boobs have suddenly gone miles bigger though!

winemakesmummyclever · 25/07/2008 09:46

Natty - so sorry for you and your dp. I hope that you are getting the care and support that you need. Take care.

Feeling slightly better over the last couple of days . Suppose I had better get off here soon and do something constructive with ds. Feel as though have been a crap mum lately .

Hugs to all who are those who are suffering with ms or worried about not having ms. Every pregnancy is different and having the occasional worry is natural, just try not to let it take over .

Have a good, restful weekend everyone.

Yes, am here, FF - it is definitely doing the rounds, you seeing Dr today? they'll have to take bloods from you, the results take ages - 2 weeks.

not sure if I updated but turned out my result was OK in the end - I had old immunity to it, which am sure you will have to.

yeah, if you think some people don't even NOTICE they are pregnant till they start to show! anyway, out of our hands isn't it?

am feelin sicker since my last post, yuk
makes sense, though, that it comes and goes as hormones surge prob, and then settle for a bit

FF - yes, old immunity means had it when young - think most people have. also, I thought I may have had it when dd did as I had a really bad cough, but I hadn't

you'll be fine, don't worry - even if you have been exposed to it, the chances of anything happening as a result are minimal.

let us know how you get on x

NattyThomasAndEllen · 25/07/2008 10:24

thank you for all the support. i will be ok its just a shock to me, as i carried both of my babys without problems. i suppose it just goes to show it can happen to anyone

good luck to all of you and i hope you all have happy and healthy pregnancies xxxx

Mandy73 · 25/07/2008 11:23

Natty I'm so sorry. Wishing you all the best. xx

MKG · 25/07/2008 12:50

Hi all I'm one of those sypmtom free people. I had nausea at about 3 weeks, but I don't have anything now.

My pregnancies have gotten progressively easier too. I've never had MS and with ds1 I was extrememly tired and slept through pregnancy, with ds2 I had nausea for about five minutes and that was my only pregnancy symptom.

So don't worry about lack of symptoms.
They say only 50% of women get morning sickness anyway. IRL I don't know anyone who has had morning sickness.

livismum · 25/07/2008 16:22

Ok prob sounds daft but anyone know a good herbal remedy for hayfever im sure all this sneezing cant be good for the bean!

auntyspan · 25/07/2008 21:13

I'm using a nasal spray and eye drops for my hayfever, both OK-d by the GP.

Anyone about? Am I just being a lazy cow or is anyone else (as newly pg as I am) struggling with their waist band? Seriously, I can't actually get into any of my trousers and I only got my BFP on Monday. I haven't been eating any more I promise...is bloating a symptom of early pregnancy??
