I've not seen the programme. These women don't have toddlers to look after as well, out of all the diets I have tried the 2 under 2 diet is the best I think it will closely be followed by the 3 under 5 diet! I only eat when I'm hungry and never sit down.
Anyway MILs visit went fine, she brought her BF with her and they both took the DDs out for a walk for 20 mins.
Rumpel - I refuse to believe that DP or I sound that bad, I'm hoping 8 years in the South of England has softened our accents slightly. I am so intrigued now I bet I know your DHs family. I bet you are not fat at all and anyway feeding a baby and having a toddler is a great way to lose weight.
isaidno - I have to wait until 39 weeks for my homebirth although the MW has unofficially said that if I go before then just to phone her. I mean third time birth I could phone and say I won't make it to hospital send a MW NOW! Holding out for the 3rd of July here bang on 39 weeks.
Tjuice - Don't want to say what I think about GF anyway I read it thought sod that and came up with my own routine, this baby will just have to fit into our lives, her feeds will be around the other DDs as will sleeping, after 8 she will get me to herself though. Glad you found all the advice helpful MN is great for that I found it a godsend when DD1 was a newborn (and still do now she is a willful 4 yo )
Aggie and Donut - welcome be warned though thsi thread moves fast we are all a bunch of chatterboxes (or is that just me).
kaz - sorry to hear about the house move situation hope it rights itself soon.
catec - I wouldn't worry about BHs I have none whatsoever first pregnancy, I do think they get worse the more babies you have, anyway first time around not even a twinge (oh them were the days) until I thought I had peed myself at 37+5 and it was actually my waters followed by a baby 4 hours later!
mcchesers - it's normal to be nervous and stressed about labour but don't worry you will be fine honestly, if I (zero pain tolerance big wuss) can do it anyone can and hey I've come back for more.
EEC - I'm sure I read somewhere that hiccups in the womb are the babies way of practising breathing. I'm sure it's them inhaling and exhaling the fluid around them (could be wrong though).
DP asked me last night "so if the babies born tomorrow will she be alright?" I said "DP DD1 was born 12 days from now if you want to look at it like that, she is probably 5 1/2 pounds buy now" I think he is in shock, this morning he e-mailed me his emergency phone contact number. He's got a personal mobile now that I have to phone only if in labour and he's going to keep it with him 24/7 inc ase he's in a meeting at work and can't get to work mobile.
