Am keeping us in antinatal rather than in preganancy so newbies can find us! Have posted for tink on her thread.

i have been in maternity since 6 weeks due to really bloated tum look huge. feel more comfy in maternity couldnt fit into anything normal i am 9 and a half weeks

i feel like somebody has taken a bicycle pump to my stomach, my clothes are getting really uncomfortable - am ten weeks and thought it took longer than that with a first pregnancy...? i feel like a blimp... nausea has eased off somewhat, though, which is good. glad to hear about scans

ravenous hunger here too since the nausea passed; probably a good think as I've lost half a kilo from not eating last week.

Also feeling bloated and have a big tum which actually hurts on days when I'm out with my friends and I have to pull it in!

Went to see the midwife yesterday and guess what? Got a scan letter today hooo-ray! 9th July.

Elkie; I'd already let it slip on another post so thought I'd consolidate since I said I'd give the girls a few clues

glad to hear everyone else eating loads too, so pleased the nausea is going for so many of us. One of my friends reminded her dh that for the first 12 weeks our bodies are working so hard it is the equivalent of climbing a mountain for 3 months... not sure if it's true but so feels like it, huh? If only you could get a sherpa..

edd with dc3 is 22nd Jan. I've never had a winter baby, i'm looking forward to being barefoot and pg in the kitchen this xmas
haven't got into maternit gear yet, but am not allowed to relax tummy until after 12th July when i will be on display to all as a bridesmaid

Yay, Spink - bobbles rule !

If I was one of those Eve magazine women I'd turn the bobble idea into a lovely little cottage industry run from my Tuscan farmhouse kitchen while my kids do fingerpainting next to me - but as I am not one of those women, I shall sit here, bobble stretched over my belly, eating toasted muffins and posting on mumsnet!

DS just came in here singing a bloodthirsty song from his Lemony Snicket book - something about pirates I think, but he was singing about 'decaffeinating the crew' - I think he means 'decapitating' but I haven't got the heart to tell him just yet!

hope you ladies and beans are all fine today - looks like a rainy day here which is a perfect excuse for me not to do any laundry

Thanks for info on the waters breaking. Turns out my friend is ok, went to hospital and was sent home. I don't have much info as I haven't seen her yet but I'm not sure if it was the waters at all or just a bit of wee or something? Its her first - she is anxious and cautious

Loving all your pics Spink - first Spinklet is so cute and we can see your new bean so clearly on picture! It's actually quite similar to my pic from my scan on Monday (where I was 9+3). Unfortunately I don't have a scanner so I can't put my pic on my profile though

I believe I can ask for a DVD at my 12-week scan on 7th July so hopefully I'll be able to put that one on my profile!

I am now 9 1/2 weeks and not really feeling any nausea at all anymore. Was feeling great about it until started worrying that it meant something had gone wrong with bean. But sounds like quite a few of you ladies are in the same boat and a quick google search put my mind at rest: apparently HCG levels peak at 8 weeks so it is totally normal to start feeling better around 9 weeks. Phew!!!!!

MS you have to go to the home page and your mumsnet and set up a profile and upload pics to it. You then need to set your pics/profile either to all mumsnetters, or include all the nicknames of people on the thread

very jealous of all your cute fuzzy little pictures - not sure i am going to get one till my 16 week scan i have a nuchal scan scheduled for twelve weeks but i'm not sure they give you a picture at that....

I have been scanned. Yesterday avo. It is 1!!! I am 10 weeks and due 13th January, same day as #5 was due! Although he didnt arrive until 27th Jan! This one had better not wait that long.

I was so relieved!

Will catch up now.

My belly is out, dh is in for a when he comes home on Friday, he has been away for 3 weeks. Next time he is away for 6 and that will be an even bigger I plan to scoff the world as soon as i feel better. I deserve it after all this icky yukness.

yeah for your scan largeginandtonic! - meant to ask you, your profile says your youngest is less than a month old...considering you are 10 weeks pregnant, I assume it's just that you've not updated your profile for a while? Otherwise I am scared!

MsSparkle - Mild nausea now gone and I am definitely eating more than I used to too! Went to Waitrose after work today and found out they have mini-tubs of Haagen-Dazs. Just HAD to get one in each flavour. Ooops

Large gin and tonic, I think my due date is the same as one of my dc's too..but mine always seem to be 2 weeks late ( which might tip me into FEb).
Not that I can think that far ahead at the moment. Slight lessening of nausea today and yesterday has made me totally paranoid. I actually enjoyed my breakfast this morning! NO yucky taste in my mouth! And then thought, 'oh no, something's wrong' and have been obsessively monitoring my pg symptoms today, praying they haven't all vanished. Happyathome - was relieved to read that you are feeling less sick too.
Oh, to be finished with this awful first trimester. I know bad things can still happen after 12 weeks, but it has somehow become a magic number - if I can just get there ( 9 plus three and counting) Am off now to scoff a huge bowl of cereal..

CW, what you're saying sounds so familiar about the paranoia. I'm 10 weeks today so am trying to tell myself it's quarter of the way, though I expect to be late, and of course I didn't start thinking I was pregnant until 5 weeks and didn't test positive until about 6. Hope all goes well for you.

Good morning momma's to be, already stuffed down a huge bowl of mueslie and fruit and a slice of toast with cheese - I am sure I will be hungry again in about 5 minutes time! MsSparkle rest assured you are not alone - I am hungry all the time too.
