Hi

Couldn't see a Feb thread so thought I would start one as am so excited to get a faint but definately positive HPT.

Fertility friend estimates a due date of 4th Feb.

Unfortunately (or fortunately)am off this afternoon for a hen weekend in Barcelona the first holiday in at least a year and a half and can't drink. Ohh well will have to be the responsible adult..... Hence checking to see if up the duff before I went drowning myself in Sangria.

Hope to see some others on here when I get back!!! If anyone cares to join me?

Sorry RMM - cross posts didn't mean to sound flippant wittering on about minstrels..., am glad you are on the mend. It's good that you have support. I think my Mum had bad PND after having me.

Davidsmom · 06/06/2008 00:16

So sorry RMM I've just done the same without even cross posting. Wasnt trying to sound flippant.

Think I'd better get some sleep before I post anything else.

'Night - think am off too, DD might be up in a bit too and am planning on having a bit of a cleaning blitz tomorrow, DD keeps finding random crumbs everywhere .

ruthmollymummy · 06/06/2008 00:21

hehe you're ok - Im very free about it all now! If i can't laugh about being crazy then I'm not crazy..... yeah but of a crappy birth - early inducement - 3 days long! ended with forceps which is better than a c-section still but better luck next time i hope!

ruthmollymummy · 06/06/2008 00:22

im gonna try going to sleep too - see you same time tomorrow!

Davidsmom · 06/06/2008 08:28

Hi and Welcome JT, you're not too diff from me - I have a dd who is 9mo and was so sick! not had any sickness so far so I too have everything crossed for me and you now too! any other symptoms? You'll prob notice a couple of us are having trouble sleeping at night and are therefore spending all day like zombies!

Davidsmom · 06/06/2008 08:39

Second that RMM. Sooooooooo tired this morning...self inflicted I suppose but DS got up for an hour about 2am aswell...zZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

ruthmollymummy · 06/06/2008 08:41

dd is down for a nap - bless the tired little girl! I'm so glad I'm pg while she still naps a couple of times a day - those half hour power naps are Godsends for me!

NoNickname · 06/06/2008 09:24

Davidsmom - thanks for thinking of me. I'll let you know how it went later this afternoon. I'm actually feeling a bit better about it as I was feeling quite nauseous yesterday, so I'm a bit more hopeful.

MamaGoose · 06/06/2008 09:38

Morning ladies,

Hope you are all feeling well today!

I am sitting here waiting for two lots of workmen. Now they are meant to come between 10am and 1pm - money's on 12.55pm, they turn up!?

Is the not sleeping thing pregnancy related? I have the opposite - absolutely sleep like the dead when I'm pregnant (body busy building at night I guess) but really struggle to get up in the morning! I've even fallen asleep during conversations with people, but normally I'm not even the sort of person that can nap in the day!!

Nonickname - good luck with scan.

idontbelieveit · 06/06/2008 09:44

Fingers crossed nonickname.
Congratulations to everyone who has joined since i last checked in.

ruthmollymummy · 06/06/2008 12:23

hope its going well nonickname.
I still don't feel anything other than tired.... It's bizarre that I should complain after throwing up so much last time!

Guitargirl · 06/06/2008 12:47

I don't feel any symptoms either, not even tired really [worried]. Don't feel pregnant at all.

Am supposed to be in the middle of my tidying/cleaning blitz. It's at the point where I wish I hadn't started as it looks much worse now than a couple of hours ago .

herbgarden · 06/06/2008 13:19

If it's any consolation I don't feel dreadful like some sound they are - I do feel quite "fuzzy" like my head is in a bit of a fog during the mornings and a little bit queasy on and off first thing but tbh I have ds to look after too so can't work out whether I'm just a bit more tired/queasy than usual.

Saying that, just before I found out (Friday before the Monday) I was out for the day and by the end of the day felt like I'd been run over by a truck - I was sooo knackered.

I didn't have particularly bad early pg symptoms last time. I felt a little bit nauseous but never threw up - went off a few foods but had cravings for none and don't remember being desperately tired (and then I had quite a stressful job) - so either I've just forgotten or I was lucky enough to have an escape. I just hope I don't end up getting horrible symptoms in a couple of weeks but also hope that the lack of symptoms isn't a sign of anything being wrong......

DS is in bed right now and I should have gone and had a snooze but have ended up here on Mumsnet for an hour

ruthmollymummy · 06/06/2008 14:08

I just had a wee snooze and feel worse now, I always hate napping but I keep doing it cos I'm so tired!

I have to go help a 25 year old friend get ready for prom in an hour! She left school when she was young so missed her own and now she's a school teacher she's going to chaperon this one! fake nails, lovely dress, amazing hair, dazzling makeup.......

Just back from my scan - thanks for all your messages.

My results were inconclusive. There was a sac, in the uterus, measuring about 8mm. But she couldn't see a yolk sac or a foetal pole. She said the sac measured right for just under 5 weeks, whereas I think I am 6w+1.

So she suggested another scan in not less than two weeks. I'll have to see if my GP will refer me to our EPAU as I can't afford another £100 for a private one.
