Hi

Couldn't see a Feb thread so thought I would start one as am so excited to get a faint but definately positive HPT.

Fertility friend estimates a due date of 4th Feb.

Unfortunately (or fortunately)am off this afternoon for a hen weekend in Barcelona the first holiday in at least a year and a half and can't drink. Ohh well will have to be the responsible adult..... Hence checking to see if up the duff before I went drowning myself in Sangria.

Hope to see some others on here when I get back!!! If anyone cares to join me?

Davidsmom - I have also been quite hot and bothered. I seem to have much less patience - especially at work. Even got a bit stroppy with my boss today which have never done before...hormones I guess although have always been a bit in the past of pregnant women who seem to treat their pregnancy as an excuse to behave however they like. I should probably remind myself of that the next time I am about to go into a meltdown over something trivial! Am also quite weepy, I was talking with a friend today about how I felt the day I returned to work after having DD and I was nearly in tears. Ridiculous as that was 9 months ago.

Davidsmom · 05/06/2008 23:41

Hi someone else up Yaaaaay

How old is your DD guitargirl?

My DS has been a real pain the last few nights and not slept until 9-930. Usually goes off at around 7.30. Unfortunately he gets up several times during the night though.

I know this is def TMI but has anyone else had a funny tummy (the runs!!!)

Guitargirl · 05/06/2008 23:45

DD is 17 months, she started sleeping all night about a month ago but still not every night. She usually goes to sleep between 8 and 8:30 and will sleep till about 6 when I take her into bed with us. But really up until a month ago she was still waking several times a night - knackering so I sympathise!

Davidsmom · 05/06/2008 23:46

Glad you said that GG- been feeling quite Err "sensitive" and a bit weepy the last few days.

Getting quite annoyed with DH over trivial things and generally feeling a bit down.

Perhaps the excitement has worn off, hormones kicked in and realise there is around another 8 months to go!! assuming I even get there...see pessimistic.

Went back to work on Monday and today did a countdown until when I could start back on maternity leave. How sad is that

Oh my goodness GG- you beat me on the sleepless nights DS is only 12 months.

RMM- yes I have a bit of a sensitive tummy anyway but one of the things I have had in both PG is a "funny tummy"

i thought that was the nice way to put it! I'm glad its not just me. I'm now dreading going to sleep because I know I'll be shattered when I wake up, skewed logic I know!

Guitargirl · 05/06/2008 23:53

Oh am definitely ready for another maternity leave! It's difficult to concentrate at work as everything seems a bit irrelevant at the moment.

ruthmollymummy - haven't noticed anything this time but definitely when I was expecting DD, seem to remember it was like that for about first 6-8 weeks. Am not sure if that's a typical symptom but definitely remember it from last time. It's weird as I keep remembering stuff from my pregnancy last time that I'd forgotten - like I had bleeding gums from second trimester onwards and in the last trimester I used to dribble during the night (nice!), would wake up with a wet pillow!

Davidsmom · 05/06/2008 23:54

Yes I get to a point when if I'm up late I feel another hour or so wont make much difference!

Really want something to eat but cant work out what.....Not hungry though.

Guitargirl · 05/06/2008 23:55

Have just had some garlic bread which was very nice!

Davidsmom · 05/06/2008 23:55

Hey I think I dribbled too! Nice...

Davidsmom · 06/06/2008 00:04

I'm feeling really good again, kinda back to normal with the help of lovely DH, great GP and a little bit of prozac! Really excited about a second chance at pregnancy and especially birth. [crosses fingers for easy, short, non-complicated labour and delivery.......]

Guitargirl · 06/06/2008 00:11

Hmmm - galaxy, could do with some minstrels...

Davidsmom · 06/06/2008 00:11

Just seen the time- suppose I better go and try to get some sleep before DS kicks off. He always waits til I have just got comfy and warm then starts....how do they know?

OP posts:
Davidsmom · 06/06/2008 00:13
