Hi

Couldn't see a Feb thread so thought I would start one as am so excited to get a faint but definately positive HPT.

Fertility friend estimates a due date of 4th Feb.

Unfortunately (or fortunately)am off this afternoon for a hen weekend in Barcelona the first holiday in at least a year and a half and can't drink. Ohh well will have to be the responsible adult..... Hence checking to see if up the duff before I went drowning myself in Sangria.

Hope to see some others on here when I get back!!! If anyone cares to join me?

hi, haven't had time to read all the latest messages but Frances and Guitar girl, i'm also still breastfeeding my dd who just turned 2. I've decided to keep going as long as she wants and am happy to tandem feed if that's where we end up. From what I understand, milk tends to dry up in the last 3 months of pregnancy so that might be a good time to stop if you don't want to carry on. Have you looked on here for info about tandem feeding and nursing in pregnancy?

Hi all, haven't had time to read the whole thread (DD wants her brekkie!) but I've just found out and i'm due on valentines day! Haven't told DH yet am saving it for fathers day next sun.

Davidsmom ? i don't know if you remember me but we were on a thread about TTC whilst BFing a few months ago, what a coincidence we are now on the AN thread together!

Hello all, can I join? Got a bfp this weekend,, DS1 is 16 months. Had miscarriage in Feb so little bit nervous, but joining in hope...due date probably DS1's birthday which is a bit rubbish of us...!

Hello - coming to join you too. Had a scan this weekend and am due the very end of Jan. Always late though so Feb felt more appropriate !! I have 3 DS's and am feeling good so far with this pregnancy.

Hi - add me too please! I felt pregnant before I tested (on Sunday), absolutely tired out and waves of 'feebleness' up legs and arms now and then! But now I'm in that paranoid am I/aren't I stage . The positive is very faint so I am resisting the urge to test again until next week. EDD has come out at 16 Feb 09. We have recently moved into a house needing a lot of work on it - nothing like a bit of time pressure to get things done!! In fact, it was the same with DD1 at the last place - everytime I want the DIY done in a hurry I have to conceive

Obviously a glut of testing over the weekend is leading to a rapidly expanding fab feb thread!

Laidback ? Just out of interest, because you've had a really early scan, was it an internal one? Don't feel you have to answer! I only ask because I had an external ultrasound last thursday to check my kidneys and bladder and I was wondering if the doctor would have seen that I was pregnant. AF was due on Saturday and obviously it didn't turn up.

Smittals ? with you on the tiredness front! Goodluck with the DIYing. We did loads to get our house finished with DD1 too.

Hi loopy - went for a private scan as I was totally and embarassingly confused on my dates (you'd have thought I'd got it right by DC4!)

She did a screen scan and could see the uterus, feotus, yolk sac and heart beat. It looked nothing like a baby to me ! She offered to do an internal scan - but I couldn't be doing with it really. She said this would have given a clearer picture - but I was only interested in it from a dating POV. She checked my ovaries too... but I'm not sure she would have noticed the pregnancy unless she was looking for it iyswim. I am 7 weeks today. Hope this helps

Had my drs apt and she seemed to smirk that I had gone so early,

I am just over 4 weeks, she referred me to a specialist though as I have high blood pressure so will need to be monitored through out.

I guess it will just be a case of waiting now. I'm getting so impatient already.

Cant wait to pass the 12 week stage and tell people, It's killing me keeping it quiet.

jellibaby - I never bother leaving telling people until 12 weeks. If the worse were to happen and I lose this baby - I would want those people to know that too - if you see what I mean. I can understand why some people prefer to wait though.

Hi, can I join in?

Just had another bfp after 2 mc's in November and March(15 and 8 weeks). Although, this time there are no signs of pregancy unlike my other four. I am al little worried as I really had a sore chest the last four times, but nothing this time apart from some spots on my face

I should be due on 1st Feb, but think that due to dates of conception and phases, plus being a little irrecular after mc, I might be due about 10th. I hope scans will confirm all this for me. The last time I went for a scan to get a clearer picture of size at 6 weeks so they sent for me at 8 weeks I then was told I had had a mc.

This will be my thrid dc and I am now 35 years old. I really want to stay here a little longer this time. I feel like I have been pregnant on and off now for the last 11 months.

Hi all, I am due 2 feb. I am 6 weeks today and as I was on fertility meds I have my 6 week scan booked this Thursday. I have ony in the past two days got my first syptoms since my 8 BFP'S. That is sore bb. I was soooo worried as I did not have any. My other pregnancys I had symptoms from 4 weeks plus. The second one I mmc at 8 weeks. So symptoms are not that reliable I dont think. I will feel much better after my scan and much more better after the 12 week mark. xx

I am just wondering why so many people are doing several tests. I had a faintish positive when my period was a couple of days late. Did the test in the afternoon. However, the only times my period has ever been late is when I have been pregnant. So should I go and buy another? I am now 5 days overdue.

By the way Jelliebaby, I have a 4 yr gap between dd1 and ds1 and they've always got on very well.

I am really hoping to get to my 12 week scan so I can feel a little better too.

With my other tw dd's I did not realise I was pregnant with the first until 13 weeks, with my second I told my mother the day I found out I had a bfp.

I was very upset with first mc as I did not tell my mother until I flew home to see her at 14 weeks. I was really excited, but had a mc two days later after returning home. I had not told anyone here about being pregnant so this came as a shock to everyone that I was even pregnant in the first place.

The last time I decided to tell everyone the day I got my bfp. I just thought that they would expect the news soon anyway. I think that this way I did not have to explain, why I looked terrible, cried or was tired etc etc. I just wanted to share my news as soon as possible, because deep in my heart I was worried that I could not enjoy being pregnant for very long.

So, now I have told nearly everyone I see. I am not bothered as I am happy to talk to everyone about it. It does make great converstation and I feel a little special, I just want it to last a little longer this time.

Trying to be positive as it's so early on. I am glad that it's happened sooner rather than later. It's just that I'm the ripe old age of 44 and assume there won't be many more (if any) chances.

Hi All,

Can I join the group? I got my BFP last week (been trying for years, never thought it would happen ), EDD is somewhere between Feb 13th and 15th.

Very worried that it might all go wrong as it has before but trying to keep positive and thought chatting with you girlies would help .

Keeping my fingers crossed...!
