haha- sorky i also considered giving a sly little hug!! you got in there first!!

Hugs all round sounds good too!! My 2 always come to me for the cuddles afterwards!!

sorkycake · 28/10/2008 17:35

I hugged no-one!! disgraceful thing to insinuate, slanderous even. Sorky does not hug people....end of.

lardybump · 28/10/2008 17:38

Well thanks for not hugging me I needed it. Dd is now covering me with jammy dodger fingers.... And we are having massive cuddles....

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 28/10/2008 17:48

there you go- all is happy again in the LB house!! jammy dodger fingers sounds like the right cure for upset!!!

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 28/10/2008 17:56

I'm home!!!

Have uploaded piccies! Realised I hadn't done 8 week scan one due to laptop problems so have done an 8 week one and a 12 week one.

I think I'm pregnant!!

Sonographer was lovely. Found baby and heartbeat immediately. To begin with baby's face was completely towards us and right arm up waving. Had a good look but she couldn't do measurements and nuchal measurement very easily that way so she asked me to roll my hips around to try and get the baby to move. Didn't work so she sent me off for a wee. That did the job and the baby was then lying on it's back (as in the piccie). Baby measured 57.5mm crown to rump and the nuchal measurement was 1.26mm which she said was the smallest she'd seen this morning. Because of my age though (Will be 36 in February ) this brought my risk to 1 in 1157. Still v pleased with that!!!

NJ - you're exactly right - it's like a BFP all over again!! I know believe!!! Have even signed up for Boots Parenting Club!!! (I know I am completely brain washed!)

Right - in all my excitement , I must try and catch up on everyone else's day...

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 28/10/2008 17:57

Diege - sounds like you've done exactly the right thing. So pleased he was understanding - what you needed. Do take it easy.

NJ - hope the play date went well?

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 28/10/2008 17:58

sorkycake · 28/10/2008 17:58

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 28/10/2008 18:08

Thanks everyone! It was v clear but no we didn't get a peek at any bits!
When the sonographer couldn't get the baby in the right place, she said (in a nice way) that it was being a naughty baby so I said that made it a mini DH. DH agreed and said it must be a boy!
I really don't know...

Glaskham - enjoy your tea, sounds yummy,

lardybump · 28/10/2008 19:12

BB hello!!! How are things?
SES woohooo!!!! Brilliant news . You are my inspiratoin in the way that you've taken the scans and worries in your stride and got through . Now lady you are going to treat yourself to some lovely maternity clothes
LB, sounds like a normal tired/ill day to me, as others have said. Treat yourself kindly - you're only human xx
Enjoy your roast GLASK - had to skin over the details I'm afraid as food and me at the moment have fallen out..I have managed a bowl of greek yogurt, and have been having sips of fluid too.
Hi to everyone else - great news of appointment LATOUR! Am off for evening now, heading to bed. I have dr's appointment for next Monday to discuss drugs, as started waking to be sick in night last night which is my tipping point. Def. better for not having to go in tomorrow!

BBeingpatient · 28/10/2008 19:56

hello all

things are gd! i couldnt believe it when i couldnt find a wagoners thread thought you'd all dissappeared!

glad to see its still as busy as ever!

kayzisexpecting · 28/10/2008 20:50

YAY for Ses!!!!!!!!! What lovely scan pictures!!

We have curtains!!!!! Mum has just been round with the curtains she has made for our front room. I love them to pieces and DH does. I was worried he would think they were horrible.

LB, I have been a bit like that with DS in the last week or so. He just has so much energy and I have none. So when I get to the point where I can't play with him anymore he keeps shouting and screaming at me.

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 28/10/2008 21:32

Thanks Kay! Am impressed with your curtains. We still don't have any curtains since we moved!

Diege - Certainly doesn't feel like I've coped that well! I do know many of the emotions and thoughts you will be going through though so feel free to "use" me if it helps.

Keep looking at my piccie and then at my belly and trying to equate the two!

cantwaitforxmas · 28/10/2008 22:22

Sshhhhhh..... (CWFX tiptoes over to antenatal thread)

Just sneaking over to say congratulations to Ses - glad all went well with the scan . What a cute little bean.

Bye (sneaks back out to ttc thread).

kayzisexpecting · 29/10/2008 06:59

Morning,

DS decided to get up at half 5 with DH. He is full of beans and hasn't stopped running around. I think I need some of his energy, I can hardly get up let alone chase him around.

I hope you are all ok and got more of a lie in than I did.

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 29/10/2008 07:03

Morning Kay!

I was up at 5am! See here !!

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 29/10/2008 07:16

cwfx - thanks for sneaking over!!

kayzisexpecting · 29/10/2008 07:19

HEHE!!

Sorry you were up early too Ses but that is so funny.

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 29/10/2008 07:20

I don't know whether I should be annoyed but I think I'm just in disbelief about how much influence MN has on my dreams!!

kayzisexpecting · 29/10/2008 07:31

I think I would be annoyed. I hate being woken up early.
