thanks so much FLfeet and magpie.so kind of you both to help.I'm still not sure how to copy and paste though, never done it before.i presumed you wouldn't copy the whole list out manually though?!...anyway thanks for putting me on FLfeet.great idea to put on DC1's birth dates, then we can keep up...so many people now,you forget who's got one,two or a hundred kids

MissHairspray · 21/05/2008 19:41

Evening ladies, hope you are well. Really sorry to hear you have to leave us NJ

7 weeks today. Have felt badly hungover for 5 days and boobs have gone up a cup size already. Can't touch sweet food and the only things I really want to eat are chicken tikka massala, cheese toasties and salt and vinegar kettle chips. Weird.

Broke the news to our families who were so excited, which is great but I feel like an awful person because everyone is so pleased and I just seem to be worrying all the time - about finding somewhere to live near our parents, DH getting a new job etc. =I know that it will all be totally worth it when the baby arrives and we are a proper family but I think the next few months could be a bumpy ride.

fym · 21/05/2008 19:41

am I on my own in being just over 4 weeks? have I just tested really early???

fourlittlefeet · 21/05/2008 19:45

no probs happy

should be making supper now, but have just breastfed dc1 to sleep and am now on sofa and don't want to move. but am hungry. hm. dilemma. computer on lap is also nice and warm.

scared1976 · 21/05/2008 19:47

NatalieJane if you are still here, very sorry to hear your news. lots of good luck and thanks for all the good advice earlier in the month.

scared1976 · 21/05/2008 19:49

Does anyone know when sickness hits if it is going to? I think I am 6.5-7 weeks and so far Ive been fine. Wondering if im one of the lucky ones!

MsSparkle · 21/05/2008 19:49

llareggub i'm sure everything will be fine

MissHairspray i advise you only worry if you find out there is something to worry about, otherwise you will drive yourself insane

I have gone off coffee & mushrooms so far. I seem to be eating alot of cheese Cheese sandwiches, cheese on toast, quavers, baby bells, mmm...

MsSparkle · 21/05/2008 19:50

Sorry i over looked that one. What happened to NatalieJane?

1973magpie · 21/05/2008 19:55

No problems Happy

To copy and paste I put the little arrow thingy (cursor) to the left of the first word in the list, left click to make sure that it's in the right place,, then hold the left mouse button down and highlight all the text I want to copy. Then I rightclick on the highlighted area and select 'copy'.

To paste it into a message you just click the cursor in the message box, right click and select 'paste'.

Good luck - I found it takes practice

1973magpie · 21/05/2008 19:59

Scared1976 - I think MS can strike at any time, but is more likely around 6-8 weeks for some reason - but I may be wrong

With both DDs I was being violently sick by 4 weeks, it was one of my first symptoms - that's a sick face not an envious one!! but this time I just feel a bit nauseous first thing, and if I don't eat every 2 hours - I'm going to be the size of a house at this rate

tinkwantstobearockstar · 21/05/2008 20:02

i have been eating alot of cheese 2

MsSparkle · 21/05/2008 20:04

Scared1976 you can have my sickness if you like!

fourlittlefeet · 21/05/2008 20:07

i find sainsburys water biscuits great for nibbling to keep sickness at bay, I'm the same as you magpie, as long as I eat I'm ok! then again, I'm like that when not pregnant

scared1976 · 21/05/2008 20:20

mmmm cheese.

Im mostly loving curry for some reason! And in an effort to be good Ive cut down caffeine and Im REALLY missing diet coke. HAdnt realised quite how much I was drinking!

Anyone else having their evening ruined by the footie?

fourlittlefeet · 21/05/2008 20:32

just seen NJ is ok; good news at the end of this thread

YAY

fourlittlefeet · 21/05/2008 20:33

there is a vague sound of cheering and commentary eminating from the kitchen, but it is equalled by the banging of pans and chopping of knives, so all is as it should be

happyathome · 21/05/2008 20:42

thanks so much magpie...iv'e written down what youv'e said and will try it next time.
think i'll try nibbling water biscuits...they sound yummy...i get a bit nauseous too in a morning.
speaking of progress,my DD said before bed "how long has Snuggles been in there now mummy".I said "5 1/2 weeks".she said "wowwwww,i'm excited because it's gone up a level"(last time i said to her 5 weeks)...so half a week does matter ladies!!!

tryingnottoobsess · 21/05/2008 20:54

Congrats Nataliejane, so pleased you're still in the game!

I'm eating cheese like it's going out of fashion too! I had put it down to stopping Slimming World cos I'm pg, and just going mad on food... but if it's a symptom, I'm happy, as I haven't got many! Feel cold too, like the people mentioned above.

Need to wash my hair every day while pg instead of every other day like normal! Has anyone got any other weird little symptoms?

happyathome · 21/05/2008 21:11

wow NJ,just read all of your thread. So glad you and the baby are ok.Looked at your pictures on your profile...such georgeous boys, love that one of them led looking at each other.
good luck!!

Triggles · 21/05/2008 22:09
