Despite feeling virtuous at work I am now pissed off because on looking at appeals processes for ds' school admission, it seems unlikely he will get into our local Cof E school, despite us living in the catchment area AND me and ds going to church regularly. Fed up and annoyed that despite being christians, we cannot get ds into the ONLY christian school available to us - and its not because there are too many christians already attending . Shut up CC, stop whinging and get on with life.

Just popped in to say we're off to Butlins Bognor Regis for a long weekend tomorrow. Never been anywhere like that before, will it be chaos during the holidays do you think? Sure the kids will love it anyway. Poor DS seems to have come down with croup though (high temp and growly breathing but ok in himself).
Reporter lady didn't turn up or call, have emailed her just in case she got the day wrong. Had nice morning in with a lovely nappyist dad and his little boy who often helps at our events. LOL He sounds like a total freak when I say that but he's just a fun bloke and very hands on with the old parenting!

Captain I bet there's room for your DS in that school. There's always loads of grey-area for administrators to work with. Just tell me who to call. I can be quite persuasive.

DD's napping now. No "D" today or cramping either. The Prevacid worked quickly. Things still don't "look" right but doc said it might be another two weeks. No word on her labs yet. When all is done I'll be a professor of poo. She has her first soccer game of the season on Saturday so I'm glad she'll be well enough to play. NOT THAT SHE PLAYS....she twirls around on the field making yourself dizzy then laughs about it. DH shakes his head because he doesn't understand why she does that....I have to remind him he goes to bars to achieve the same level of tipsyness.

My baby is due on my birthday hence my name . Ive had all my scans now and am having a little boy .It's our first baby and we can't wait to see our little boy soon . Ilive in Guernsey in the Channel Islands and we receive great care here . Hope to chat soon ..........

Hellooooo All

Congrats to all who have had good scans in the past few days.

We had ours today and all is well everything present and correct. Our little one showed us who they were without the need for asking!!!!! Her bottom and 'hamburger' were the first thing the sonographer got sight of and took a piccie for us - DH wasn't sure what he was looking at but i knew instantly so innocently said - 'if you want to know the choice is yours, i am really not bothered!!!' He was so excited at making the choice and is very proud that he is going to have a little princess. (DH= ) He went shopping on his way home and bought her the most amazing little pink polka dot dress, which is now proudly hanging next to his shirts in the wardrobe.

TS hope your little one feel better soon.

To everyone else - will try and catch up the last weeks posts and go on from there!!

Evening all! been a long day in the dixie household - miniest dixie was up between 3-5am and dh and I ended up snapping at each other about it - was like a competition over who was most tired - anyway, god bless medised is all I can say!

spent morning writing shopping list, then met friend for coffee - she is even more pg than me so we looked like a right pair. then went for lunch with friend at new Italian - yum yum, ate too much

home, dh went to work whilst I sorted kids and have been cooking up a storm ever since. We're having people for dinner tomorrow so wanted to get as much done tonight as possible - tomorrow will have to be spent cleaning and tidying so we can all sit round the table

so dinner marinading in fridge, desert in the freezer and I am now on my arse eating a tesco finest orange lolly and watching desperate housewives lol

its a thrilling life we lead is it not? did I mention am going to the deer park tomorrow
