Not tmi at all. Nothing is on here!

scorpio1 · 06/03/2008 09:19

have you had sex?

Brown blood is old blood so OK, red is the worry. Was it snotty - a show?

Any pains? Of course just ring MW for more reassurance, they don't mind.

moominsmummy · 06/03/2008 09:19

No not too poorly - he has very agressive type of MS (Multiple Sclerosis) was fine until DS was 10 months then has had to use wheelchair/crutches alot since. NHS service has been fab and he sees the top people - the chemo is a new drugs trial and is in cambridge (250 miles away) but fortunately my parents live near cambridge so we are all going down and baba may be born there if it makes an early appearance!

fortunately my mum is fab and very supportive as I will have poorly DH to look after as well as newborn (and toddler) - I am therefore really desperate to have an uncomplicated delivery so I can be up and around within a few hours!

scorpio1 · 06/03/2008 09:21

Tonight, i am off out for a curry though not to induce Millie, just for fun!

Lots of pretty dresses on GMTV - cannot wait to be skinny again. Yoga was good last night.

Me and DH are really good - lots of our ususal laughing and joking, which is great.

EllieG · 06/03/2008 09:29

moominsmummy - hats off to you lady! Don't feel you have to be all brave and cope-y on here if you don't want. We're here for if you need to have a moan too x

scorpio - glad to hear you and DH have sorted stuff x

bunnyrabbit · 06/03/2008 09:32

Thanks Scorpio. Glad you and your DH and getting on well.

Sex! No DH has been warned not to come near me till I've finished work, just incase it kicks things off.

A few pains lower left-hand side.... lots of moving (nothing new there) feels like LO is trying to get out. And I'm sort of having a clear out now..... oh god I have such a busy day too.... starting to feel nauseous now, but this is probably auto suggestion!!!

Arrrgghhhhhh

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 06/03/2008 09:34

moominsmummy I really admire you strength of character. I 2nd what Ellie said - lean on us if you need to.

scorpio1 · 06/03/2008 09:34

just sounds like normal pg stuff then. I would possibly just ring MW and let her know; she will have more ideas. Try getting osme rest today.

bunnyrabbit · 06/03/2008 09:48

Would love to put my feet up but 2 more weeks at work.

Anyway, minor issues compared to what everyone else is going through.

Lots of hugs, rice crispies, raw broccoli and minieggs to one and all (BR opens up the picnic basket and 'tis full off everyone's favourite goodies!)

Help yourselves and bugger the calories!

Back to work Projects and Excel .....

BR

Peachy · 06/03/2008 09:54

Moomuinsmummy, have you come across needmorecoffee on here? She has MS herself, and is increedibly up on it all (well she would be, has a doctorate in neurology!0- she's great for a chat and support too about anything disability related.

scorpio1 · 06/03/2008 09:55

peachy you there? wanted to ask you something about Reilly.

scorpio1 · 06/03/2008 10:04

Well anyway; i filled out osme forms for the SENCO about Reilly, and the things he can/cannot do, using a 1-2-3 score. His results came out on the 0-10th centile, she said there is a definite dyspraxic 'issue'. This sound right? They are doing an action plan with him for help in school, and getting a laptop at a later stage.

Although have already heard that parent helpers are not following the plan - they made him do maths on his fingers instead of counters

eva07 · 06/03/2008 10:23

wow moominsmummy, fingers crossed everything works out for you. and dp of course!

peachy, how did the school stuff work out? hope everything went well!

scorpio, sorry 'bout your worry with reilly. and - at the thing at your parents house, btw! and have fun tonight

EllieG · 06/03/2008 10:41

Hey eva - was wondering the other day how you're settling in?

eva07 · 06/03/2008 11:00

that's nice of you elli
i like it a lot here and dp's great and easy to live with (we know each other since last april and are a couple only since last june)
the health system is still quite confusing sometimes, scans and midwife coming to my house and all, but that's what MN is for

eva07 · 06/03/2008 11:02

(what I wanted to say is: I like it here - a lot)

Peachy · 06/03/2008 11:19

scorpio- has he got a plain action plan or an IEP? Is he on school action o action plus? you need to find out as exactly what stage he is on paves the way for future suppiort.

make sure he has an IEP (look at the IPSEA website) drawn up, and he is registered on the register of special needs with the LEA. That way, if he ahs additional requirements for the future, you can start to look at statementing as a statement is a legal document that can be legally enforced.

have you thought about requesting that the teachers, yourself and any helpers attend a meeting to make palns where consistency can be stressed? often helpers like that feeling of being involved I think.

The meeting yesteray- well ds3 will be getting 1-1 full time whilst he is assesed for a Sn school which is good, but am a bit narked as the 3 schools we were sent to- one is being closed, one is being halved for intake, and the other is being moved and nobody knows where!. the school they have suggested has already refused to admit him twice due to him having more than specific speech needs (SALT run school). Soc an'tsee that doing anything more than just delaying things tbh. Also mighty p'd off that the PAediatrician came along and without telling dh or I, has decided after talking to a SALT that ahs met DS3 twice in a school setting, to reconsider her diagnosis, regardless of teh information given to her by a SALT at a higher level in the NHS who saw him ten times in 3 different settings! It's her prerogative I guess to delay DX (although this is th second time she ahs told us we have a definbite dx then changed her mind) but to do it in a meeting of poeple we hardly know or whom we have never even met before was a bit imo, and she seemed to be taking thee xperiences of staff who never knew him bofre january and who have never had a conversation with us more seriously than the feedback from DH and myself which is also annoying.

but at elast he'll get the 1-1 and I bet after she's dealt witha few of his nappie etc she'll be glad to pass him over to more specialised care ha ha ha

northeastmummy · 06/03/2008 12:24

Wow Eva - it sounds like you had a whirlwind year - tell us more .

EllieG · 06/03/2008 12:50

It's all very romantic sounding isn't it? Ah...lovely
Glad you are enjoying things x

scorpio1 · 06/03/2008 13:04

Thanks Peachy, i will ask/think those thing s over. Seeing SENCO again in 2 weeks.

I had tomato soup and brown roll for lunch.

(had latte and cake in town )

eva07 · 06/03/2008 13:12

whirlwind year is a very nice description
I'll make it short: got rid of X-dp at christmas 2006 (he was cheating on me) after 4 years and was devastated as I always thought he was THE ONE. april 2007 I came to cardiff to visit a good friend of mine who works here, met DP (my friend's colleague at work) and liked him a lot, despite me not wanting a male person in my live for at least the next 5 years
after returning to austria we texted a lot and I got internet at home for skype.
then he visited, I visited... and during august we went on holidays - and the rest is history
