Told 2 of my close friends today but my excuse is that they will be at a wedding with me on Saturday and I will never manage to hide my not drinking from them.

Symptoms for me are mainly around the extremely sore boobs but DH thinks they are larger already so is very happy . Trying not to eat too much but am super dizzy which makes my daily commute on the tube intersting. I have become very good at spotting the empty seats and moving at speed to get to them!

Enjoy your sweet treats everyone.

Jane7 · 14/02/2008 17:52

Spink - that's interesting what you say about itchy skin. I've been itching a fair bit, on my back, arms and chest, have some little red bumps. Started to wonder if we had bed bugs, but maybe it's just another weird pregnancy symptom. I'm finding all but the softest fabrics are itching my skin.

Weird...

tedmundo · 14/02/2008 19:55

I developed a rare form of excema called Dyshidrosis on my hands and feet during last pregnancy and it eventually cleared (after using steroid creams which I hated doing) when ds was about 4 months.

Guess what I found this morning ... small blisters on the side of my foot. I could have wept as last time the scratching would keep my awake and my poor hands were sore and bleeding by the end of it. How odd though that skin complaints are so common to pregnancy.

I thought I was supposed to be glowing right now?!? My ar*e glowing - I look like a fraggle.

Happy Valentine's to you all.

Hi Spink Glad you're ok. I was really interested to hear your thoughts on early scans. I'm hoping to get a dating scan and I just want an early scan to make sure there is a heartbeat.

Hello to everyone else. All this talk of sweet stuff....I had a jam doughnut & chocolate heart cake yum, glad Im not the only one.

twinklytoes · 14/02/2008 20:37

evening all too!

been busy few days at work - my boss made some some comment about the baby boom - (there's 2 + 1 dad due in june and july out of a team of 15)and told me I'd better not "fall" too. I tried so hard not to smile. He was joking but know he'll find it difficult when I tell him as there's so many plans for this year.

got scan date for 26th March and booking apt for 2nd April.

very tired too but nowt else to ride home about.

Thanks for the update CSWS the list has really grown I'm just waiting for someone to come along with a due date later than mine, I've known for soooo long

Welcome to agtb & Mum2J

Hi Emmsy hope to see you here "officially" soon

07mumstheword · 15/02/2008 09:09

Hi sam Blimey you're getting organized thinking of prams/pushchairs I don't need to worry about double buggies but two of my friends have got "JANE" buggies with one infront of the other.

One friend swears by it but the other found it VERY heavy to push, the actual buggy was heavy before the children got in it, she only used it for a couple of months and sold it.

Another friend got a basic side by side and seems to be getting on very well with it.

sambrands - i am the same already looking at double buggies, there are pros and cons wiht both. the side by side ones are harder to manouvre esp through narrow doors! the jane pro i liked but i have seen another called zoom which is not out til March but is gorgeous as well as a huge price tag!! i love my current pram cum pushchair and was thinking of having baby strapped to me and having my boddler in it then when he is walking have baby in pram but then when little man gets tired i cant carry him!! oh decisions decision!!

bethoo · 15/02/2008 09:43

myjobismum - at last symptoms!!! yay i felt sick this morning and on and off yesterday and find that constantly eating is keeping the worst at baby! stocked up on pot noodles in my office!! i know i wanted symptoms but wy the bloody sickness!! mind you what symptoms are nice?? already constipated with piles!!!

MrsTittleMouse · 15/02/2008 10:19

I'm thinking of a combination of buggy board and sling instead of a double pushchair. I just don't want to fork out a load of money and I can't see me being able to navigate a double around here. There are plenty of times when I'm grateful that I picked a narrow single.

I'm still not convinced I'm PG, by the way.

And blimey, aren't there a lot of us here!

Lozza70 · 15/02/2008 10:56

Morning everyone. Just 6 weeks along and had my first scan this morning and there was a heartbeat. DH and I are now allowing ourseleves to get a little excited. it otherwise. Having another scan in 2 weeks where hopefully we will get the same result and I can allow myself to relax a wee bit.

fairydust2 · 15/02/2008 11:07

Hi and congratulations to agatb and jakeyroo.

Lozza70 - fantastic news about your scan!! Congratulations!

Bethoo - guess what? Same symptoms here
again! I have run to the loo several times this morning thinking I'm about to throw up. Luckily not got the latter of your symptoms.
