Thought I’d start this as a follow up from the ‘TTC NOVEMBER 2021’ thread for everyone who got their BFPs! ☺️

Got my dye stealer and my 3+ today!
Still doing wee cheapies every other day, but the security that the HVG is still rising at 5+1 is reassuring.
Got my first scan two weeks today- it's my sole focus! Must remember to buy food in for Christmas 😂🎄🎄

Hi all. Hope it’s okay to join! I found out yesterday I was pregnant after giving birth to my son in June; he’s only just turned 6 months old 🙈considering it took us 5 years to conceive him; one so soon after is slightly daunting but maybe it is the blessing in disguise that we needed. Who knows? I’m estimating I’m due around august 14th I think according to the online calculators so roughly am 4 weeks 2 days today. Hope everyone is well! X

Hi all, I'm also due around 10th August (I think!) This is our first and we tried for 2.5years. Absolutely flooded with anxiety yet still don't feel it's really. Can't stop obsessively testing and still haven't got a 3+ yet on a clearblue, it's all I've ever wanted but I think I'm going crazy 😅 no symptoms apart from tender nipples which varies throughout the day

@Ale12 congrats! I’m only 4w5d and honestly I don’t believe it’s even happening at this point, my boob soreness is so on and off!

Yesterday they were painful and my nips felt all needly, today? Nothing!

I swear this baby is going to be driving me round the bend when it arrives! 😂

I have come and go symptoms too. My stomach is very bloated, you would think I was 5 months not weeks.
Sore nipples some days, boobs feel massive. But all positive.
Looking forward to my 7 week scan for reassurance.
Fingers crossed 🤞

@mrsmw132 - glad to hear of someone else with fleeting symptoms!

Do you find that some days your boobs feel absolutely normal?

Where are you thinking of going for the early scan? We’ve looked at Window to the Womb but still deciding at the mo!

Report
Sweetmad · 08/12/2021 21:33

@miltonj yes my head is a big mess at the moment but trying to process it all slowly! Haven’t really had my symptoms either other than some cramping which I had with my first pregnancy and headaches. I’ve booked an early scan for just before Christmas for some reassurance x

Because our positive is through IUI with the NHS (we are amazingly lucky this is a thing in Scotland) we get a 7 week scan before we 'graduate' from the clinic before our 12 week.
It already feels like a lifetime since finishing out at 3 weeks.
Todays symptom is so much bloat I could actually float away as a Christmas parade balloon.
Anyone else been 'mildly' (hmmmm) annoyed at things recently ??

Nice to catch up on everyone's posts. Feeling quite anxious today. My boobs aren't sore at all and haven't been yet but it did take a while for them to in my last pregnancy. Reassurance scan booked for 2 Jan when I'll be 8 weeks.
@mrsmw132 uh yes the only real symptom I have is irritability x 100

Report
SantiagoSister · 09/12/2021 10:06

@chiatta I’m the same, still zero symptoms over here too. I’ve read up, and apparently only 50% of women have symptoms by week 5, and this rises to 90% of women by week 8. So hopefully we start to get some in the next few weeks, I’m not wishing for any sickness but some sore boobs or tiredness wouldn’t go a miss! It’s just more reassuring when you feel something I find.

Report
Ale12 · 09/12/2021 10:26

@SantiagoSister same! I would like a bit of tiredness or just something to reassure but then everyone I speak to says 'you're going to wish you'd never wanted symptoms when they hit you'

Thanks @CountryGirl189 , it's so exciting but so stressful too 😅 my sore boobs are very on and off too, apart from that I've not really had anything else ... maybe a mini meltdown over nothing last weekend 😅

I have a a scan at 6 weeks 5 days, hoping its not too soon to see anything!

Sore boobs and cramping on/off is my only symptoms really. And I'm crying a lot over really trivial things lol

Report
chiatta · 09/12/2021 13:21

@CinderellaFant I didn't know cramping was a symptom- I get worried if I feel the slightest twitch

Report
HA22 · 09/12/2021 13:44

I've the odd cramping and pulling since 4 weeks. Sore boobs and nausea (no actual sickness) from 5 weeks. Maybe a bit more tired than normal i'd say as well. Gum has helped get rid of my sickness completely. Currently 6+0 today and it feels as if i'm on my period (similar symptoms).

@chiatta yes it can be in these early stages. It's the embryo implanting or your womb expanding and stretching. Although baby is only the size of a sesame seed at the minute things are still stretching and changing.

Hey all, long-time lurker here. I found out I was pregnant at 10DPO last week. Took me by surprise since I tested with FMU and a stark white BFN.. took another 8 hours later and got a faint pink line which I was not expecting! Just HAD to POAS! I had a MC in July... blighted ovum... between 6-7 weeks and we have been trying ever since. Hoping to get a scan between Christmas and New Year to confirm viability and to give me some peace of mind. I have 2 DS (7 & 5) Smile

Hi guys hope you don't mind me joining.

Got a faint BPF this morning at 14dpo. Been TTC for 6 months and had a CP early October, so really happy about this but can't help but feel worried and anticlimatic that anything might happen! Bought some more tests will be testing everyday hoping for the line get stronger!

Hi everyone,

I'm due on 10th August 2022, I'm 5 weeks 2 days today :)

So far my main symptoms have been constipation, so bad on the day of my expected period there was quite a lot of blood in the toilet (bleeding from butt/cuts). I was scared it was from the other hole for a second!

Bleeding has continued a bit and I've had quite intense constipation... but then got diarrhea twice with constiptaion either side of it. I called the early preg unit and they said not to worry about diarrhea, it's not considered anything to worry about, and it could be overflow from being constipated which I guess makes sense.

My boobs hurt and nipples, definitely bigger too.

I got mild cramps in the uterus area on the day my period was expected.... is that a good sign that stuff is going in in the uterus? Just asking as I had an ectopic which resolved in October this year, managed expectantly and resolved on its own.... but with that I didn't have those cramps in the uterus as I know I'd have remembered them if I did, and there wasn't anything going in the the uterus then so that makes sense. So I'm thinking it's a good sign I had those as should mean that baby is in the right place :)

If anyone knows if those mild cramps on the day you'd expect your period are good/signal some activity in the uterus I'd love to know! :)

Thanks so much,
Tiana

I'm due on the 10th August too :)

I've decided not to test with the month indicator anymore, I read someone saying they never got the 3+ and their HCG was completely fine, so I'd rather not worry myself. That's just me though :)

Congratulations!!!
