I started a thread in the pregnancy sections for those who are due in June. If anyone else is due June 2022 come and join us along the way there is a couple of us now. I found out I was pregnant last week due 2 June by my dates I got my first faint line at 8dpo and they've gotten darker since. Really hoping this is our sticky bean we've suffered 2 mc to in the last 6 months not passing 7 weeks.

2 weeks if normal, sooner if something is flagged up.

SnowdropFox · 18/12/2021 22:30

13 weeks pregnant today and on our way to visit Santa with the 3 year old someone decided not to stop at a junction and plow into us! Car hit pretty much exactly between front passenger side wherr I was and the seat behind where my daughter was.
One second difference either way and I dread to think what would have happened!
Thankfully all parties involved are fine (no ambulances required) but one car totalled (hers) and the other likely written off too.

Hope your pregnancy journeys are going much tamer than mine! If I could have a drink I probably would have tonight!

Rosie908 · 19/12/2021 03:40

@SnowdropFox my goodness, I'm so pleased to hear you're all ok. Sounds so scary! Hopefully the worst has been now and the rest of your pregnancy will be calm, relaxed and with no drama!

All is well here. Had my test results back yesterday, all low risk thankfully. We are so relieved, I've been really worried but now all is ok and we can get on and actually tell people now. Hooray! We were planning to tell my parents and MIL on Boxing Day but are now doing it on 23rd just in case there's another lockdown announced. Means a lot for us to do it face to face.

So relieved and we can just be excited now. And breathe 😊

Rosie908 · 19/12/2021 03:41

And so pleased to hear your scan well too ❤️

SnowdropFox · 19/12/2021 07:11

Thats a relief @Rosie908! How are you planning to tell them?

Dob29 · 19/12/2021 23:02

@SnowdropFox oh that sounds scary! So glad you’re all ok!

I had my booster yesterday, has anyone else had theirs? Ive felt like crap today 🙈 I don’t know why but I’m suddenly really nervous for the scan on Tuesday too!

Dob29 · 21/12/2021 13:58

Hi all

Hope everyone is ok? Anyone not feeling christmassy?? I just can’t get in to it 🙈

Had my scan this morning, baby looking good. They’ve dated me a few days ahead again so have 25th June due date now!
Hope your scan went well @New2ths

New2ths · 21/12/2021 14:07

@Dob29 we have the same due date!! I was also dated ahead ahead 13+3. So lovely to hear the heartbeat and see baby rolling around! Baby wouldn't stay still!
I said to the sonographer "it's too early to tell the gender right?" And she said "it's a boy"! I was a bit annoyed really because I hadn't asked her to tell me, I was saying it must be too early! I was secretly hoping for a girlie and had been convinced so I felt like the worst person in the world to be a bit disappointed... but baby is healthy and strong!
How are you feeling after yours?

SnowdropFox · 21/12/2021 14:15

I'm the 25th too! Grin

New2ths · 21/12/2021 14:23

@SnowdropFox we are all going to be very busy! It's my best friends wedding day too Shock I'm dreading telling her!

SnowdropFox · 21/12/2021 14:46

Oh no! We're you supposed to be a bridesmaid?

Dob29 · 21/12/2021 17:19

Ahh 3 of us on the same day! Exciting! Well I actually said to my husband I thought I saw something on the scan (that would make it a boy) and he said oh no far too soon for that but maybe if they could tell from yours I was right with what I saw!
I was so nervous today for some reason so I’m just pleased baby look ok and everything was as it should be 😊
Hope your friend takes the news ok - I’m sure she will be made up for you

Dob29 · 21/12/2021 17:32

Also don’t feel bad about feeling a little disappointed! It’s a shock when you’ve got in to your head what you think it is isn’t it! x

Rosie908 · 22/12/2021 20:10

Aaah I'm so pleased that all of the scans went well! It's so exciting isn't it 💓 What are the chances that you're all due on the same day! Crazy!

@New2ths a little boy! Wonderful news.

I'm 15 weeks today and have just read that baba will start to hear noises and my voice from now. How amazing is that... poor thing, it's had to endure me blasting out Christmas songs all day 🤣

I've got to tell a friend that I can't make her wedding in May. It's in Croatia and I won't be able to fly. Really don't want to break the news, she's had to rearrange the wedding 3 times so it's a long time coming. Sure she'll be fine but it's broaching the subject, eeks

Dob29 · 27/12/2021 07:45

Morning all!
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and that your announcements went well 😊
All of my close friends and family know now. I am starting to show a bit! I had a look back at pics and I did start to show with Jack around 15-16 weeks.
Have my next scan date through for 9th feb. The last few weeks have flown but January always feels like such a long month doesn’t it!

Happymum73058 · 27/12/2021 08:58

Hey everyone, can I join your thread? I am due on June 1st 2022 and found out on Dec 15th that we are having another little girl 💖 this will be our second girl. I have a daughter already aged 5 (6 in March) and a little boy just turned 2 in September. We are all very excited, would love to be able to talk to mums due around the same time 🥰

SnowdropFox · 27/12/2021 21:58

Of course you are, welcome!

Hows this pregnancy compared to the other two? And have you told the kids?!

Happymum73058 · 28/12/2021 17:12

Horrible! 😂 I'm huge already, the sickness has terrible from about 5 weeks, I was prescribed cyclizine which has curbed a lot of it but the heartburn makes me even worse. I hate complaining because I'm so lucky to be carrying another healthy baby - but I've had a lot of food aversions aswell - to mostly my fave things! 🙈

Yes the kids know. 2 year old isn't sure what it means but he's started behaving really clingy to mummy so I'm thinking he has a sense of what's going on. Who knows what goes on in their little minds! My daughter (5) is over the moon with the fact she's getting a little baby sister! We are all so excited 💗

Dob29 · 29/12/2021 19:31

@Happymum73058 welcome! Hope your sickness and heartburn ease soon 😣

Any tips from anyone on how to reduce bloating? I feel massive all the time 😄 my nausea has pretty much gone now, just get a wave of it a couple of times a day.
I’ve definitely felt some flutters recently…husband thinks I’m crazy because it’s still so early but I can honestly feel something!

Got my next midwife appt on 10th Jan. at the 16 week appt with Jack she listened for the heartbeat but I’ve seen on some forums they don’t do it during the 16 week check now 😔

Happymum73058 · 30/12/2021 09:11

@Dob29 no tips from me on the bloating sorry.. my bloating is terrible 🙈 and very uncomfortable when wearing tight clothes!!

I haven't felt anything yet and I'm 18 weeks but I'm carrying a lot of extra weight so thinking it could be down to that - midwife also said could be due to the fact I don't have time to think about it when I'm running around after my 2 year old! Fair comment 😂

At my 16 weeks scan, we got to listen to the heartbeat. It was lovely and very reassuring 💗

Happymum73058 · 30/12/2021 09:12

@Dob29 I meant 16 week check, not 16 week scan - Baby brain! 🙈😂

KJenner · 05/01/2022 19:02

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me joining your thread! I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and New Year!
I'm due 8th June and have our 20 week scan booked for 19th January- feeling a little anxious for some reason.
We had our 16 week scan on 30th December and got to hear the heartbeat for the first time - we had seen it at our 12 week scan but never heard it before.
How are you all finding your pregnancy journeys so far? I suddenly feel massive - although it could be due to the extra food devoured over the festive period Grin My boobs feel massive too!!

@KJenner welcome! My boobs are enormous already too! Dug out my maternity clothes from last time and the bras are a bit tight!

@Happymum73058 could be if your placenta is blocking the feeling too. My placenta was at the front with dd1 and I didn't feel much. I couldn't "see" movement like other mummy's described at the later stages either.

@Dob29 we are definitely on the same schedule, I have my 16 week on Monday too!

My sickness is finally getting a bit better. Some smells kick me off now thats it. Unfortunately I have a UTI so been on various antibiotics. So stressed as I found out one of them can cause issues for bub if taken before 12 weeks. I took mine at 13.5 but so paranoid now that I've done something terrible Blush

In more positive news we told dd over Christmas, shes only 3. She is really excited and keeps kissing my belly and telling me what she is going to teach the baby. So sweet!

KJenner · 06/01/2022 19:06

@SnowdropFox glad you're feeling better. I was only sick twice but was nauseous from week 2 all the way through to about week 15 🤢 feel so much better now (18.1).
I shouldn't worry too much about the antibiotics as you were passed 12 weeks and I don't think your doctor would have prescribed them if they could be dangerous to baby?
Aww how lovely. I bet your little girl is so excited 🥰 This is our first so everything feels scary.
