I've just gone for a walk and managed half an hour there and back with a lightning crotch 🤣 Christ on a bike 🤣 Some sympathetic looks from the neighbours seeing me waddling around too haha! xx

lucyrp · 26/07/2021 19:26

@PurplePansy05 I've been swimming with DS again today and done quite a bit of walking and my god am I knackered! The waddling is taking the P a bit now 😂😂 and the bloody relaxin hormone is driving me bonkers x

PurplePansy05 · 26/07/2021 19:29

I looked at some old photos now @lucyrp and I'm shocked with how slim and flat I was 🤣 I forgot what it's like to be able to jog or bend over! Simple things are out of reach now! xx

lucyrp · 26/07/2021 19:30

@PurplePansy05 I had a similar thing happen I found some progress pictures I'd taken from
Going to the gym right before I got pregnant and I have extensions in in them too and I'm like who tf is that ?!🤣 oh the bending over is entertaining to say the least xx

Whatshouldbemyusername · 26/07/2021 20:58

@BertieBotts amazing news! X

Ava50x · 26/07/2021 21:00

@BertieBotts lovely news, so happy for you!

@wimbler best of luck! Thinking of you, hope all goes well for you!

Whatshouldbemyusername · 26/07/2021 21:01

@ame88 @Inmypjsagain I agree. People always feel the need to comment. I'm getting "oh is it twins?" Or "you must be about to pop any day now?" I'm 36+1 today 🤦🏽‍♀️

Daffodil21 · 26/07/2021 21:04

@Whatshouldbemyusername @ame88 @Inmypjsagain don't forget 'I didn't think you could get any bigger', 'you can't have long to go now!', 'every time I see you you get even bigger!' and my personal favourite 'ohhh you've really dropped now! Won't be long!'

@ame88 so annoying isn't it!!

@BertieBotts fab news! You must be so pleased - especially getting the result you were hoping for without needing to do the ECV

@PurplePansy05 I went on a walk today too, embarrassing how often I have to stop now! I get lots of BH contractions when walking and the odd one is so strong it really takes my breath away and I have to pause 😂

DH isn't working till Friday and he's always so productive - one of those types who just can't sit still - and I've felt so bad wanting to relax now mat leave has started, so today I've ended up ticking quite a few things off my pre-baby to do list. I think it could be quite sensible as he's away for work Friday-Monday and I don't want to relax so much that my body decides to go into labour while he's away!

Yessss hate it!!

Whatshouldbemyusername · 26/07/2021 22:51

@Daffodil21 haha. Spot on!

I've got my growth scan and 36 week appointment tomorrow 🙏🏽

Aaaaa1519 · 26/07/2021 22:52

@BertieBotts that’s great news must have been a wonderful relief
@wimbler good luck hope things get moving for you, how exciting that babies are starting to arrive

I’m completely shattered today had the strangest night, baby went on a crazy kicking spree from 3am until half 4 and I kept having the strangest feeling I was being watched, Dd woke up screaming from nightmares and then in the morning we realised someone had broken in through the back and stolen all our bikes

Jessicapebbles · 26/07/2021 23:12

@Aaaaa1519 That is so scary!! I hope you’re all ok! Not what you need right now!

Good luck @wimbler! Sending lots of baby dust your way xx

Winecoffeeteamum · 26/07/2021 23:12

Evening ladies hope everyone is doing well. I'm 36 weeks today and having some pains/ discomfort in my lower back and pains down below (so sorry for the tmi) also had a number of bowel movements today . Was wondering before I start to panic is anyone else going through braxton hicks or should I be prepared for my little lady?

PurplePansy05 · 27/07/2021 04:45

If you look through this thread, don't think there's a single page not mentioning Braxton Hicks 🤣

@Aaaaa1519 Gosh, how scary, hope you're ok! I can't sleep tonight, been to the toilet and also had some vivid and scary dreams before. Can't decide whether to go back to sleep or have a cuppa. xx

Whatshouldbemyusername · 27/07/2021 06:01

@PurplePansy05 ah babe hope you got some sleep. Sleep was hard for me too last night. Woke up twice to pee and once coz of leg cramps. Got out of bed at 5:15 and watched the sunrise from the balcony whilst having a cuppa honey lemon tea.

How are we all feeling today?

lucyrp · 27/07/2021 06:49

@Aaaaa1519 omg that's so scary, hate when stuff like that happens all coincidental but kind of links up 😖 hope you're okay ! X

Woken up with a bad belly again today which seems to be a regular occurrence at the moment, woke many times in the night and my hips just can't take much more 😩 whenever I move my legs or back in bed I get so much pain.

My last day in work is Saturday and am getting my hair done this week so I hooked a table at mine and OH favourite restaurant for Saturday after work but given myself enough time to get ready if I feel like making an effort. Thought it would be nice to go for our last "date night" together and also celebrate my mat leave starting. Haven't told him yet but I'm terrible at keeping surprises so I'm sure il blurt it out sometime this week🤣

wimbler · 27/07/2021 07:18

Just wanted to share that our little boy made his (very speedy in the end) arrival into the world late last night. He’s absolutely perfect and quite frankly, I feel like an absolute superwoman!

BertieBotts · 27/07/2021 07:19

Aaah brilliant! Well done wimbler and baby! :)

PurplePansy05 · 27/07/2021 07:43

Ahhhh @wimbler, congratulations! ❤💐 Welcome, little boy! Hope you're both feeling well, fabulous news to wake up to!

So we now have a little pair so far! Hope all is well with you girls @Smurf123 ❤ xx

PurplePansy05 · 27/07/2021 07:50

PS - I'm getting so excited to find out what you're all having if it's still a surprise 😄 I think if I ever do this again I won't be finding out, it's really exciting! xx

biscuitcat · 27/07/2021 07:54

Congratulations @wimbler! Such lovely news 🥰 and you've definitely earned the right to feel like superwoman! Hope you're enjoying the snuggles xx

Daffodil21 · 27/07/2021 07:59

Huge congratulations @wimbler 🥰🥰

Re sleep: Leg cramps. Literally every morning at 4am.
Some days worse than others. Have been trying to make sure I drink enough water, and already take a multivit that has magnesium in, and stretching calves before bed & when I remember in the day.

@BertieBotts, really pleased for you! Any tips for making the little madam move (in the right direction!)? Might try Moxa as the acupuncturist gave us some when TTC.

HopefulB · 27/07/2021 08:11

Congratulations wimbler! ❤️
