Hi 🙋‍♀️ Got my BFP a few days ago, think I'm due 27/Jan

OliviaGrace15 · 23/05/2021 10:07

Hi can i join?

Just got my BFP this morning! would be lovely to have people to go on this journey with x

DaisyBlu · 24/05/2021 07:06

Hi @OliviaGrace15 👋 congrats, is this your first?

OliviaGrace15 · 24/05/2021 07:10

Hi @DaisyBlu congrats to you too 😊 no it will be my 3rd 🥰 I have a 6&4 year old, Just super nervous because I miscarried last November so it's made me more nervous this time, how about you? X

DaisyBlu · 24/05/2021 07:15

This is number 2, I also have a 2 year old. I miscarried in March but I'm actually less nervous this time, lots of insane tiredness the last fees days which is reassuring me ( probably v unscientific 😁 )

OliviaGrace15 · 24/05/2021 10:45

@DaisyBlu symptoms are so reassuring aren't they, I didn't have any with the last pregnancy so I knew something was up as I was so poorly with my first two children, I haven't got many symptoms yet except I'm falling asleep alot earlier on a night and my boobs are sore on and off, how many dpo are you? I think I'm 11 so period wouldn't have been due until Thursday x

mummyh2016 · 25/05/2021 18:00

Hi I'm due 31st Jan Smile already have DD who is almost 4. Felt a bit awkward posting on the main Jan group as I'll be well behind a lot on there! But DD arrived at 38w so based on that I am expecting a January baby (how much do you want to bet that this comment will come back to bite me!).

minthumbugs · 25/05/2021 23:11

Hi everyone! I'm very excited to be joining. I followed along lurking with a thread with my last pregnancy but never wanted to commit to posting and then I miscarried in January. I feel really lucky to have got my BFP already (super super faint positives last Friday and Saturday and finally a positive digi today - think I will be due early Feb) and as much as I'm anxious, I don't want to miss out this time around. So hi 👏🏻 looking forward to getting to know you all. X x

littlelionroars · 26/05/2021 14:46

Hi Everyone,
I got my BFP yesterday, due date should be around 4 Feb. This will be Baby No.2 for me, I have a lovely DS who is 3.

Sadly I miscarried at 7 weeks in Feb and then had a chemical pregnancy in March.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, incase this one doesn't work out either. I wasn't going to join one of these threads but have decided to join in anyway.

Fingers crossed that all of you will have happy healthy pregnancies. X

minthumbugs · 26/05/2021 15:06

Hey @littlelionroars congrats! I'm the same - expecting the worst but hoping for the best. Hope everything goes well for you! X

littlelionroars · 26/05/2021 15:15

Thanks and good luck @minthumbugs Hopefully we both have sticky beans this time around!

1ogansmum · 26/05/2021 16:23

It's lovely to see so many new people! i cant wait to share this journey with you all, i am due 3rd feb (my partners birthday!) although my last baby came 5 weeks early so have a feeling this one will end up being a january baby, which is fine by me because my partner and two children's birthdays are all feb / march - busy time of year straight after christmas!
I had a blighted ovum november 2020 so im really scared this time round.. there seems to be a few of us with previous losses so hopefully we can all keep each other sane!
I have no symptoms yet really other than abit of acid reflux on and off x

minthumbugs · 26/05/2021 20:38

Hey @PoodleOodle no symptoms as such yet which is strange as I've been sick as a dog with all my previous pregnancies! I've had lower back pain since yesterday, hoping it's not a bad sign.

@OliviaGrace15 wow 5 weeks early! Hopefully the timing works out just perfect for you. Hopefully we can all get each other through the anxiety unscathed.

I've had a previous ectopic too so I have my reassurance scan all booked in, will be trying not to count down the days! X

OliviaGrace15 · 26/05/2021 20:46

@minthumbugs yeah he was 35+4 but still come out at 7lbs and home 2 days later 🙈 I was having extra growths scans because he was big so I think he was just ready, I had a huge bleed with him at 11 weeks because he basically crash landed when he implanted and left a scar which to be fair sums up my now crazy 4 year old perfectly 😂 yeah I'm so greatful to have all you guys to help get me through the anxiety x

minthumbugs · 26/05/2021 20:50

Omg @OliviaGrace15. That must have been so scary. My LO was a week late, had to be forced out and that definitely says it all about his personality too haha. X

OliviaGrace15 · 26/05/2021 20:54

@minthumbugs yeah it was awful I had to go to a&e because I was before 12 weeks and they couldn't scan me for two days to sent me home saying I'd probably lost him 😭 little did I know he had just started stressing me out early and hasn't stopped since 😂 ah bless him, it's lovely how their personalities are already formed before they're born ♥️ I'm so excited for us all x

littlelionroars · 26/05/2021 22:41

@PoodleOodle No symptoms for me yet, other than some minor cramps. I was very fortunate in my first pregnancy and didn't have any sickness, really hoping it'll be the same for this one!

Lol. @OliviaGrace15 I feel your pain with the birthdays around Christmas. Our family is as follows: Me: Nov, DS: Jan, DH: Feb. This baby is due a few days before DHs birthday. A very expensive time of year indeed!

Sorry to hear about the blighted Ovum, that must have been really scary.

@minthumbugs What week are you planning to book your reassurance scan in?

I'm in two minds because in my most recent pregnancy, I had a scan which seemed all good at about 6.5weeks but miscarried shortly after. So now I'm wondering if I should try hold out a bit longer to like 9 weeks. I'm super impatient though Blush

1ogansmum · 26/05/2021 23:41

@PoodleOodle I haven’t had symptoms as such but my appendix has really been playing up :(

How many weeks gone are people booking their private scans? I am really tempted to book one!

minthumbugs · 27/05/2021 06:06

@oliviagrace15 omg that's such a crazy story, I'm glad it all worked out in the end. X

@littlelionroars they want me in at 6 weeks but think that will be closer to 7 weeks from my last period! So it's booked in 2 weeks time 🤞🏻 those birthdays will be mad - a really exciting time for your family though 🥳 I feel you about the scans. Last time I had a normal dating scan then miscarried so I'm not sure if I will ever feel settled. I think you just need to take it as it comes, maybe last as long as you can for a scan but go when you feel you can't wait it out any longer! Fingers are crossed so tightly for a sticky rainbow for you. X

Oh no @1ogansmum I hope you're ok! Does it usually bother you, will you get checked over? X

OliviaGrace15 · 27/05/2021 09:03

How's everyone feeling this morning? I still feel pretty normal, my period was due today so I'm 4 weeks today x

1ogansmum · 27/05/2021 09:26

@minthumbugs no not usually I was nearly having an op to take them out last Friday. I ended up having a CT scan aswell which I hope hasn’t affected baby :(

@OliviaGrace15 my period is due tomorrow I have still been temping because I’m scared it’s not real but think I will stop after tomorrow 🙈

OliviaGrace15 · 27/05/2021 09:29

@1ogansmum I have one test left which i think im going to take tomorrow (will be the 4th one) just to check the line progression, then ill stop, im not checking the weeks indicator ones because i became obsessed last time trying to get my 3+ which i never got and it cost me a fortune in the end so im avoiding them this time x

minthumbugs · 27/05/2021 09:45

It's funny you say that @OliviaGrace15, I've never found out so early before so only ever had 3+ or 2-3 but I've taken my second one this morning and still only on 1-2. With the back pain I'm worried about it! I have one left, been told to do one before the scan so going to try to keep it 😩

Gosh @1ogans mum is that when you found out? Poor you!
