Is there a group for us mamas to be? If not, join one and all, let's get this started...

My nips are really sore and I have a heavy feeling in my womb area every morning when I wake up, but that's about it. Occasional pangs of nausea but no more than usual really. The odd crampy feeling but less than last week.

I just want it to be time for my early scan! I'm booking a private one. Think I'll try and aim for 8w. Is anyone else booking one? How far along are you booking it for?

Just feeling shaky, silly mistake cleaning before breakfast , instead of eating first 🙄😬 took another digital this morning with fmu it's saying 1-2, which puts me 3-4 weeks , app and last period saying should be 5 weeks & 2 days 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm thinking of booking a private scan at 9/10 weeks, don't think it will help much though as 1st mc was at 12 weeks.

minthumbugs · 29/05/2021 13:15

@Lollipop25 as much as that's horrible it's a good sign! I'm the same, should be 5+4 today. When I did a digi at 5+2 I got 1-2 as well. I've also had a MC just after 12 weeks so I don't think any amount of scans will be helpful to me either. X

@poodleoodle all the waiting is horrendous. I wish you could just fast forward 9 months! That's good you're having symptoms. X

@OliviaGrace15 @1ogansmum I'm the same with the drinking, got a few things with family this weekend and going to have to make up some different excuses 🤣

I still have no symptoms 😩 I'm going to lay off the testing until at least Monday and maybe use a FRER again to see if the line has developed. I just feel totally normal, wish I would just feel something 😭

OliviaGrace15 · 29/05/2021 13:22

@minthumbugs I feel pretty normal too, alot of people don't realise they're pregnant yet so it's normal to feel nothing at this stage try not to worry I know it's easier said than done, I'm desperately looking for symptoms, the only think I have is no appetite but don't even know if it's related 😅

Report
Lollipop25 · 29/05/2021 13:26

@minthumbugs that puts my mind at ease a bit that your digital was the same thanks🤗 I'd love to be able to just enjoy being pregnant without all the worry😬 my DH is already fussing, think he'll let the cat out of the bag before I want anyone told😂 he's brutal for keeping a secret

minthumbugs · 29/05/2021 14:52

@lollipop25 it's definitely put my mind at ease too that you are the same! I'm trying not to read too much into it. I'm literally just trying to get through one day at a time, I'm glad when I wake up and it's another day done 🤣 I don't know what I'm counting down to really as my OH says I won't feel any better after the scan even if it is the best possible news, I will just start worrying again! He is right too. Haha, your DH is just super excited 🥳

@oliviagrace15 that is so true, it's so super early! It feels like being part of some weird exclusive club knowing so early is that weird 🤣 I had no appetite last time. Certainly not affecting my appetite at the moment though! 🙄

OliviaGrace15 · 29/05/2021 15:12

@minthumbugs it really does feel like that! I just feel odd I can't put my finger on it, I feel floppy and urgh 😂 don't want to do anything or eat anything, even talking is a Hassel 😅 xx

I'm tired to my bones today. Pure exhaustion.

I've vowed to stop testing now. I got progression on FRER and got 3+ weeks earlier in the week at 19dpo so it seems a bit pointless now. Just the long wait for my early scan.

I'm going to avoid social situations with drinking as much as possible. Pretty easy atm as the thought of doing anything at all isn't appealing!

Has everyone booked in with midwives now? Mine text me and it really made it feel very real!

No symptoms here abit from my stomach feels abit odd and waking up early! Treated myself to some new pjs and slippers as I know I'm going to be relaxing for the next few months ☺️ I'm going to ring the midwife on Monday and let them know. Might book a private scan for this time next next month xx

Hey @PoodleOodle I'm in Ireland and usually just go to the gp, have it confirmed and they forward you on to the hospital. Won't bother going to gp until after 12 weeks myself but I'll prob have a private scan before that. I'll prob keep testing until I get 3+ on the digital🤣

@1ogansmum I'm the same, stomach just feels off and I'm waking up around 6:30 ready to start the day, then I'm done by 10am 😂

Hi ladies I've recently found out I'm
Pregnant with my 4th massive shock as I was waiting to have a hysterectomy due to my health, I haven't had periods for over 8 months due to being put into early menopause however I stopped the treatment due to side affects which is when I'm thinking I conceived, I've had to have 2 early scans so far nothing was seen on first scan but bloods done and hcg levels have risen, 2nd scan shows a sac but nothing else really, I've got to have another scan on 7th June to be sure it's definitely in the correct place,
I've been so emotional with it all at first I was like I can't do this again but now I'm so so excited and really want this baby more than ever my hubby wasn't too happy at first he got upset worrying about how I will cope with how my health is but he's calmed down since speaking to health professionals and said he isn't getting his hopes up until we get the all clear,
My children are 15, 13 and 9 so big age gaps as my eldest turns 16 this year also. I'm 38 next month so would like to know how ladies of similar age found it this time round x

Wow! Congrats @Mitch83 That's incredible. I hope it all goes smoothly for you from here on.

@PoodleOodle I have not called my Gp/Midwife yet. In my area they don't want to hear from you until you reach 6 weeks. And then they arrange the booking appointment for 8 weeks.

I had guests for a bbq yesterday and managed to get away with drinking Kopparberg alcohol free ciders. Very handy if anyone is looking for non alcoholic option to hold questions at bay.

Been feeling a bit more energetic yesterday and today. And haven't that horrible heart burn again. Maybe it was something I ate rather than the pregnancy.

I've still been testing and the lines are nice and dark, which is keeping me calm for now Grin

Just typed out a post but it didn't send, hope you don't get this twice, will look very needy! I feel I should apologise for stalking you ladies on the previous posts on this thread. This is my first time posting on here, and first pregnancy. I got my BFP last Sunday, and going by periods/app I'm 5 weeks tomorrow. One app tells me 31st Jan and another says 4th Feb, so hope this thread is ok! I've been feeling really nervous about MC but trying to remind myself that worrying about it won't stop it happening so just to keep positive and take one day at a time! Thought some friends in similar position might help, and hope I can help others too! Hiya Smile

@PoodleOodle I haven't booked in yet! Policy where I am is 6 weeks which would be Tuesday for me, but planning to wait until after the scan and if all is well will phone then!

Wow @Mitch83 that is some story! How many weeks do you think you are?

Hi @Erinrose82 congrats!

Congratulations @Foxy1303, a few of us here have that predicted date at the moment! Must be a common one 🤣

Hi everyone! I'd like to cautiously join, tested positive judt this morning with my cb fertility monitor.
I'm 36, DH is 39 and we're together since 12 years, just decided this year to TTC. No reason why not earlier, I think we both still think we're 25 or so ;)
First month trying resulted in a chemical. Next month was a weird cycle so decided to not try the following month. This month I was convinced from the beginning that I will be pregnant. I'm not normally like that but that's just what happened. So I was double devastated with my BFN at 14dpo and 13dpo. Started spotting Saturday, bleeding never started so I tested - BFN. Tested again before dinner because drinks, and a very faint line appeared. And this morning on the monitor, BFP!
I'm having a much better feeling then in February. But I'm still very restrained, I joined a birth club back in February and had to leave it after 2 days. It felt like I jinxed it if that makes sense?

Sorry for the long rambling post 😅 I hope you're all well!

Bundaberg84 · 30/05/2021 21:26

Ah and yes, 4th February for me, too haha

Report
minthumbugs · 30/05/2021 21:34

Yes @Bundaberg84 I know what you mean about feeling like you've jinxed it. I was super cautious to join a group and followed quietly for the full first trimester as I felt like if I joined I would jinx it! I miscarried anyway. This time around I'm not going to stop myself chatting to people, need to have my sensible head on and realise getting support is not jinxing. What will be will be and all that! Congratulations. I was similar to you - got a BFN when I was absolutely convinced as AF was a few days late, a few faint lines and finally pregnant on CB 🤗 and Feb 4th too just now! 🤣 Congrats. X
