amani - the calf cramp is like being stabbed in the leg, I can stop it by pulling my foot up and rubbing my calf but if I point my toes it comes back, it wakes me up the ankle ache might just be because I had 3 episodes of cramp last night - wondering what I can do to prevent it - I need more sleep

Helo again - can't believe that it's getting so close now - I'm refusing to think too much about being prepared (although post from 3Little Bears made me gulp!) until DH is back from his golf trip that he's going on next weekend. (As DD1 was born at 33 weeks I said he could go if he was back by 33 weeks - typically, he's going at 33 weeks!!) I am going to spend that weekend doing sweet FA and eating ready meals or takeaway food! No exertion whatsoever!

DD2 went out trick-or-treating last night - we know almost all the people in our end of the road, and they all do something in the windows - it's like a little bit of America! Even one older couple without kids really get into it - they have a cauldron with dry-ice, they dress up, and they do little goody bags with a few sweets for the kids (I just hand out Smarties or Cadburys from the BOGOF funsize bags from Morrisons!)

She has a greenish tinge to her face today - not from being sick-of-chocolate, but the remnants of the face paint that seemed a good idea at the time. And she still has dark red nail polish - oops!

Got nusrery delivery yesterday and got a little emotional when unpacking babygros! Have figured out how the car seat works at least and the isofix, but the bugaboo is in lots of bits.
MW today- nothing exciting- had FBC taken. Not engaged yet, but in a good position.

Loads of movement- pretty much all day, but at least he seems asleep at night- hopes that bodes well for the future.

First NCT this week. THe men session was good (1st stage of labout stuff), but i ddi get the impression that the girls session was an advertisement for the clinic's (it is held in) services! Extraordinary how people could have done all sorts of alternative stuff, but absolutely no pelvic floors! (call me a sad old evidence based practitioner) Apparently we should all be going to a chiropractor, acupuncturist and craniosacral therapist for a 'check up'. [hhmm]

oh and on the subject of names from the other thread I actually have a friend who did call her son ZINEDINE (altho for a few mad days tried to spell it like Xanydine or something).

Names-eek! We still don't have any names!

Tackling The Pile has left me feeling lazy-am unable to move away from laptop today!

clairy we still haven't decided boys name - toying with Sami, Nael and Daniyal.

mixedmama - do you pronounce that as its spelt?? our NCT teacher has a little boy called Finch and it's really growing on me as a name (dh obviously not convinced)

suey - lol that sounds like my first NCT class (refresher - still so much I don't know!) although I am planning a home birth she did a good sell on it and recommended the therapies too - including reflexology and hynobirthing.... even a water birth but my house isn't big enough and I don't want a pool in my living room for (potentially) the whole of xams, dh was just mouthing 'no, no, no' behind her head (he got put off by the mention of sieve last time )

how funny- have just observed that those who know, all the early decs but after 4th are boys, and all the late until 30th are all girls! spooky [hwink]

Insy - yeah it is pronounced as it looks as in the footballer Zidane. I obv didnt want to comment on her name and so didnt say anything, just great he has a name as it had taken a while to decide and she was like "dont you like it??? You didnt comment or anything??"

Amani - i love Daniyal.... DH just point blank refused that for us... not sure why. I think your fave is Nael tho isnt it... I seem to remember you always come back to that one. last time we had two names in mind but kept coming back to sami and on the day i just called him sami without even thinking....

claireybang - saw your post on skids thread, sounds like you have your work cut out.

Yes I do like Nael as my first choice but DH is not too keen on it. He wants to pick the name this though as I picked DD name.

Hi everyone hope you are all as well as can be expected.
One month today until my due date!
I went to the antenatal clinic at the hospital today to discuss the birth and had a quick scan while I was there and Hurrah! The baby is head down so all in place for my VBAC. Although I have stated that I won't be induced so may well end up with a c/s anyway. However at least I will know I have tried.
Is anyone else on this thread hoping for a VBAC?

Going back about 300 conversations to Neuro and Buzzy discussing relationships I am afraid I totally have to disagree that you won't be happy with anyone you meet if you meet them after 30. I met DH when I was about 35 and he is just the man for me - we compliment each other in a way that none of my previous bf's ever did. I know so many people who met men in their 20's but then split up when they hit about 30 because we all change so much at about that point.
Of course that is just my opinion and I am sure lots of you have fantastic relationships with men you met in your 20's .

Amani - is he picking out of those three? And are they names you both agree on.

Claraq - i think that you cant put an age on it, there is someone and you cant guarentee at what point in your life you will meet them.

MM - that is true to some extent, but I also think you both have to be at a stage in your lives where you are ready to commit. I certainly wasn't until I was into my 30's so I might have met someone I would have married had I been older but just wasn't ready to settle down yet....
I want to reassure Buzzy and Neuro though that you CAN meet men when you are a bit older. Although I agree you probably have to do a lot more compromising and either changing of your ways or realising there are going to be things about the other which will probably always irritate!
