Hi
Is anyone else due in January 2021? I took a pregnancy test this morning and got a positive. This makes me 4w2d today. I am absolutely terrified! I have been ttc for 3.5 years and am under the care of the fertility clinic but haven't actually started any treatment yet as I had a laparoscopy earlier this year for an edometrioma and endometriosis. This is technically our second pregnancy as I got pregnant two years ago but miscarried at 5.5 weeks. Havent told my partner yet as I don't want to get him excited in case it ends in a miscarriage again.

Yeah, me. I'm 4w+6 or 5 weeks depending on which calculator I use. Crikey.

Hi ladies, I've also had my BFP this month.... I'm feeling a bit anxious about the wait for a scan as I had a miscarriage on New Years Day so I'm hoping everything goes to plan this time round!

I'm thinking my due date will be somewhere between 14th-23rd Jan!

Also - I can access the FB link!

KSI88 · 17/05/2020 14:27

Hi all. Got my BFP yesterday at 8dpo. Still in shock. This will be DC #2. We have a 6yo girl and had been TTC since October 19. Had an early miscarriage early March so I'm delighted to have gotten another BFP. Nervous now as I'm praying this little one sticks!

EDD - 31/01/21 ❤️

LynzP85 · 17/05/2020 15:23

Hi @KSI88 - we can keep our fingers crossed together that both these beans stick!

KSI88 · 17/05/2020 16:46

@LynzP85 Let's hope so! This is my FRER from this morning - still can't quite believe it! 😍

Do you have any other children? How long have you been TTC?

Just found out I’m 6 weeks pregnant with our first Smile

KSI88 · 17/05/2020 18:57

@braverthanyoubelieve Congratulations 🥳

LynzP85 · 17/05/2020 21:21

@KSI88 I have a daughter, she'll be 4 in October, we started to try for No2 autumn last year and got pregnant in December. But I sadly we had a miscarriage on New Years Day - with a house full of family and no-one the wiser to why I was spending so much time hiding upstairs!! I was about 6 weeks.

I also found out about DPO8/9 last week, I ovulate late in my cycle so I think the midwife would say I was 5+ weeks pregnant but having some a ClearBlue test it's saying I would be 4-5 which ties in with my late ovulation. Think my date will be 14-23 Jan.

How have you been feeling? I've had some symptoms but they have eased over the weekend.

KSI88 · 17/05/2020 21:35

@LynzP85 I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage. It's really awful. Hopefully we have our sticky beans!

The only symptoms I've had are creamy CM and my urine has been a lot darker and cloudy. I had these symptoms last time I got my BFP so I was hopeful but still gobsmacked to see the BFP. Have just noticed my nipples have been tingling this evening too.

braverthanyoubelieve · 18/05/2020 18:39

Thank you KSI88 and congratulations to everyone on this thread Smile Fingers crossed for all 🤞 💐

I just feel sick most of the time and my boobs are really sore. First time so this is all my brand new and unexpected.

Apologies but I don’t really know all the acronyms yet. I’ve checked the MN list but dpo doesn’t seem to be on there? What does it mean please?

Also when women refer to themselves as 4+3 or 6w+2, is that weeks and then days? So 4 weeks, 3 days pregnant/6 weeks, 2 days pregnant?

KSI88 · 19/05/2020 10:26

@braverthanyoubelieve Morning lovely. Dpo is days past ovulation and yes you're spot on with the weeks and days 👍

beautifuldream · 20/05/2020 06:15

Hi All,
Lovely to find a birth club! I am 4 weeks and 2 days, baby #1. I’m from all the way in Melbourne, Australia 😃
How is everyone feeling? I have sore boobs and that is basically all - no nausea at all.

LynzP85 · 20/05/2020 07:42

@beautifuldream - welcome to the group, I’m just a little a head of you at about 5 weeks... (I had late ovulation so the midwife would say I was 6 weeks based on last period but pregnancy tests are aligning with my ovulation dates thankfully!)

This is my second, I have a 3.5 year old daughter Lucia, hoping for a successful pregnancy after a miscarriage at New Year! 🤞🏻

A bit like you limited symptoms, tiredness is probably the worst for me, and I start to feel yucky at bedtime if I don’t go to bed early enough!!

Oh and I’m in Scotland!! 😃

coronababy20 · 21/05/2020 12:26

Hello,

I've just had a positive test after about 9m TT . I have a two year old son already. Before he was born i had two MMC so hoping all goes well again this time.

Looking forward to the chat!

Newmums16 · 21/05/2020 22:25

We’ve been trying for about 18 months and am now 6 weeks. Told me SIL because she just told us that she is 13 weeks (Smile) but now I feel really stupid for saying anything

DuchessofPemberley · 22/05/2020 15:55

Can I join? Just got a positive test today, 4w2d. Ten months after a missed miscarriage, I’d almost given up hope! I’m so excited!

Congratulations to you all :)

Lilo08 · 23/05/2020 08:22

Hi, can I join too? Got a positive on weds using internet cheapies and couldn’t believe it. Finally tested yesterday with a ‘proper’ test and yes it’s positive!
I have an 11 year old and have been trying since she turned 3 and this is the first positive test since my bfp with her. I hope this sticks. I’m around 4 weeks. When do I let gp know?

anaconda76 · 23/05/2020 15:59

Hi. I had BFP on Tues and I'm 4w+5. I've got 3 DDs (11, 9 and 4). I've been ttc for about 3 years and this has been my first BFP in all that time.

imabusybee · 23/05/2020 17:48

Hi Blush BFP this afternoon with a very unexpected third baby. EDD 28th Jan. In shock tbh as we were done with two Confused but actually the more it sinks in I can feel myself getting excited.
I have a 2 year old and a 3 year old already. My mumsnet group from my eldest were incredible and are still friends of mine - hope this group proves to be just as lovely Smile

PopcornForDinner · 26/05/2020 06:07

Hello! I'm tentatively joining in - also with a bit of an unexpected third baby!

I had a normal-looking and -feeling period 1.5weeks ago - but yesterday felt a bit odd and got a positive OPK very early, so decided to do a pregnancy test, and here I am! But not quite sure what is happening, so crossing my fingers this one will be sticky...

TommyShelby · 27/05/2020 12:42

Hiya! I’m due 28th of jan 2021! My story is similar to you op, 3 years of ttc so it’s all abit of a shock

Today I have been absolutely crippled by nausea. I haven’t actually been sick but I’m feeling dreadful. Anyone got any tips?

PopcornForDinner · 27/05/2020 16:47

@TommyShelby Congratulations! But sorry to hear the nausea has hit you... What worked for me was eating bland foods (toast, crackers, crisps...) little and often. I used to keep a small snack by my bed so I could take even a few bites before getting out of bed. The key is not get hungry as it makes the nausea worse. Wearing sea bands also really helped me.

beautifuldream · 28/05/2020 00:00

Hey all - is anyone still testing??
I ran out of tests days ago and I didn't buy anymore however I had one CB Digital left so of course I had to use it up haha, I got the 3+ which was nice to see. Does anyone else feel like now they aren't testing you are symptom spotting to convince yourself you are pregnant? haha. I haven't had an early scan yet so I don't feel like I will be properly convinced til I see little bubs in there doing alright.
