Aww huge congratulations @Lu1u 🥰 well done.

Hopefully there will be some more babies born before the weekend is up! I’m on my 3rd cup of raspberry leaf tea today 😂

Kayjay2018 · 12/05/2020 19:06

@Lu1u congratulations, that's an amazing weight, well done for just doing it on gas and air, I too asked for more and it was too late. It's amazing what our bodies can do! Hope you are home soon!

GinUnicorn · 12/05/2020 19:21

hi all 🥰 baby girl born 14:30 all went well. healthy and daddy got to stay with us for 6 hours ( he was very ready to leave when the time came) - I love her so much ... just cuddling me and being perfect - i'm sure all the crying will start in a few days

they said they prepared everything to hopefully get me home tomorrow ( mmm too soon but i will see) x

woollycat · 12/05/2020 20:35

@Lu1u congratulations! Sounds like you did very well! ❤️

@facevalue congratulations! Glad all is well and you will be home soon. ❤️

Raindancer411 · 12/05/2020 20:38

Congrats to you both!! @Lu1u @facevalue

november90 · 12/05/2020 22:24

@facevalue yaaaayyyy!!! Congratulations lovely! I'm so happy for you and your little one ❤️

facevalue · 12/05/2020 22:43

thanks ladies. i would say after a C section i'm feeling fine but i definitely need someone to help ( missing my husband) you know the simple things like please pass me this and that it check the baby nappy😒 i don't think i can do those tasks yet- so hospitals should really have more midwife's or staff that purely go around doing these tasks!

my covid test is negative.

facevalue · 12/05/2020 23:21

@Lu1u congratulations xxx well done you

sao81 · 13/05/2020 00:39

@Facevalue Did they do a covid test on you then???

I am just back from triage for reduced movement but all seems ok. When I was watching the screen the contraction monitoring it was going up to 90!! She asked if I felt it but hadnt until they put tight straps on me lol

sao81 · 13/05/2020 06:04

@Raindancer411 aaah maybe you will go soon then! Have they said they'll do much over the reduced movement?

So I've been up since 1am with buttetflies in my tummy, scrubbed the kitchen again, can't believe that today is the day! 😍😍

woollycat · 13/05/2020 06:14

@sao81 good luck for today, will be thinking of you!

Lu1u · 13/05/2020 06:18

Well done and congratulations @facevalue I was thinking of you Monday night knowing it was your day on Tuesday! So pleased it went well, how was last night?

@sao81 good luck!! How exciting 😍

@november90 semi planned, I was offered one at at 39+6 for reduced movements but I decided to hang on as I was convinced I would go into labour naturally by the Friday but it wasn't meant to be! So after all of week 40 stressing about movements I called up on Sunday and booked an induction for 41 weeks exactly, I'm glad I went with my gut in the end and didn't wait any longer even though I was terrified of a long drawn out induction! How is everything with you? Any more signs?

Raindancer411 · 13/05/2020 06:46

@sao81 No nothing was said as I think the monitor criteria was meet and I felt a good few movements. Have felt her move this morning. Still got the ache a bit but not sure if that is from the four flights of stairs I climbed to avoid a lift. Although yesterday and this morning, my tummy is loose...

Raindancer411 · 13/05/2020 06:47

@sao81 I forgot to put good luck, so...... good luck!!!

Helensss · 13/05/2020 07:01

@Lu1u congratulations!! Nice to hear a positive induction story, I have an appt with my midwife this afternoon to attempt a sweep and I guess she’ll talk about induction.
I’m only 40+2 but feels like it’s dragging forever,
Plus lost plug over a week ago and have cramps most nights which disappear so it’s a bit draining.

@facevalue congratulations ❤️
