Haha @Raindancer411 it's annoying how wind and period pain can be so similiar! It has tripped me up a good few times 😀

37+5 here, no symptoms at all 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lady7978 · 05/05/2020 09:06

Congratulations and happy birthday @Kayjay2018Flowers

GinUnicorn · 05/05/2020 09:16

Congratulations @Kayjay2018

Wishing all of us lovely babies soon

Lu1u · 05/05/2020 12:26

@Kayjay2018 congratulations!! Hope you are both doing well today 😊

Nothing much to report here, had some light period pain like tummy ache this morning but nothing major, and a bit more mucous plug. Doesn't feel like anything is happening any time soon still!

Helensss · 05/05/2020 12:34

@lu1u
I’m exactly the same, lost 3 bits of it now over last 3 days and mild period pain x

Hi everyone,

Baby Boy arrived here on Saturday May 2nd, which was his due date.

Friday evening late I realised I hadn't felt him move much all day compared to usual, so we ended up arriving at the hospital at 11.50pm after calling for a check up. Was put on monitor for 30 mins and they said the first 25mins heart rate was fine, but then it had dropped slightly. Seeing as by this point it was almost 1am, they said they would prefer if i stayed in overnight and they could repeat test first thing to be sure.

Anyway, Dh was waiting in the car all this timeas wasn't allowed in, so went home. Around 5am stated getting cramps. By 8am I was back on monitor and already 3cm so labour had appeared spontaneously overnight. Dh arrived back at 8.30am and was then allowed in to join me.

Baby was born at 4.15pm, 8lbs 8oz. Used water pool for a bit, and born on land. All went well.

woollycat · 05/05/2020 14:48

@Caspianberg huge congratulations!!! Due date baby, that's amazing! Sounds like labour was pretty straightforward, are you at home now? Enjoy! ❤️

Caspianberg · 05/05/2020 15:16

@woollycat - yes was all pretty standard luckily in the end. Had a small cut and stitches at the end as he was a rather large and his face up near hand but seems fine.

We came home yesterday so just 2 nights in. Usually would have been longer stay here but with Covid it was in and out. Dh was allowed in From 8am ish when labour confirmed, baby born 4pm, and he left around 9pm that evening. We left Monday morning, so only had sunday in hospital alone (everyone also in private rooms due to Covid), so just hung around watching ipad and feeding baby.

november90 · 05/05/2020 15:17

@Caspianberg awwww congratulations! I bet it was a bit stressful with the reduced movements initially, but I'm so glad the rest went well! And also a wonder weight! It was you wasn't it which was measuring weeks ahead for a lot of your pregnancy? I'm so chuffed for you :)

CharlieB93 · 05/05/2020 15:26

@Caspianberg massive congratulations! Glad you are all back together safe and sound 💕

Lady7978 · 05/05/2020 15:41

@Caspianberg congratulations!!! Sounds like a bit of a rollercoaster but all went well in the end. Congratulations again Flowers

@november90 having your heart set for a particular month isn't silly at all. I have a couple of months in the year I prefer, so I'm just like you are.xx

Caspianberg · 05/05/2020 15:41

@november90 - yes he was measuring ahead all the way. But ended upon due date still. I'm fairly small(5'4) and usually around 50kg, so he was large in comparison (4kg) . Dh is tall though. Good news is gained 16kg, and had lost 12kg by the time I left in baby/fluids/placenta etc so that was speedy. Came home to a pile of cream donuts dh had picked up!

GinUnicorn · 05/05/2020 16:08

Congratulations @Caspianberg what lovely news :)

helpasisterout · 05/05/2020 16:40

MarshmallowsOnToast · 05/05/2020 17:41

@caspianberg

That's wonderful congratulations.

Our boy is measuring quite big too so glad to hear the birth went well & a lovely weight too.

Does he have a name yet?

Caspianberg · 05/05/2020 18:18

@MarshmallowsOnToast - We have named him Eric.

Emmacb82 · 05/05/2020 19:10

Congratulations to all the new arrivals! And eagerly awaiting news of all the ones to come.

We finally made it home Sunday evening and was so lovely for my two boys to meet each other for the first time. Finding breastfeed a challenge, especially as I wasn’t allowed to feed him whilst on the phototherapy so we had a delayed start, but we are getting there. Can’t believe I have two beautiful boys x

facevalue · 05/05/2020 19:47

i don't want to share which hospital but i was glad to find out mine is now screening all expectant mums when they come into hospital for covid. so i'll automatically be checked before my c section 😍
