Just thought I'd start a new a thread

@Maybebaby2 my mum told me when she was pregnant she got very tired, even fell asleep while on the phone once! Hope you feel better soon

I've got my scan this afternoon! (finally!!) couldnt sleep last night and feel so nervous today. Just hoping everything is fine and that I can start getting excited.

Thank you @Samk79 and @Roxy8203 the worst of it is I feel guilty I'm not able to give my 2 year old the attention I would normally, she has watched a lot of tv and played a lot of ipad games this last week. I'm slightly worried how I'll manage with a newborn and a nearly 3 year old but the midwife said I'll be fine and not to worry. I just don't think I expected this fatigue to hit me so hard. I'm off work this week and DD goes to nursery one day on Wednesday so hopefully I'll be able to recharge my batteries.

I’m a bit late getting on here.
I’m 10weeks today and due on 14th September according to the date given at my early reassurance scan.
I’m 40 years old and this is my first pregnancy, so excited and terrified at the same time. Xx

Iv still got 2 weeks to go until my 12 week one! Really can’t cope with how slow time is going right now!!! I just want everything to be ok and with such a lack of symptoms I worry! However I know I’m not the only one!!

Congrats @paulajo79 how exciting!!! I’m 38 and this is my first too. Long road to get here. Due around same time as you! Haven’t got my official due date yet but the app says 15th sept 🤞😊 how are you feeling?

Just had my second midwife appointment, classed as low risk so can use the birthing centre which sounds like a nicer environment and I'm grateful to be low risk, my only risk point was my age as I'm over 35. Now I'm on a 7 day count down to my 12 week scan next month, I can't wait to see my baby again

Thanks everyone! Yes this was my 12 week scan... Measuring 11w5d which matches exactly what I thought and everything looked fine am so relieved!!! Feel like I can actually start believing it now!!

Wow that’s fab @Lazydaisydaydream I’m sure you are over the moon!! I can’t wait to get to that point!! 2 Weeks and counting!!!

@ShiningStarz, so many feelings! Excited and very worried, as well as constant nausea and so tired. It’s been a lot to take in as I never thought that it would ever happen. I’m having my official dating and Nuchal scan in 2 weeks, then maybe I’ll stop worrying so much. How are you?

@Paulajo79 my dating scan is in 2 weeks too! I’ll be exactly 12 weeks.
I had a 6 week and 8 week scan. This time the waiting between 8 and 12 weeks is so hard! A whole month 😩
I’m tired like you, but windy out both ends! Lots white cm. Not feeling the nausea though. I’d take that as good signs thought and nausea is suppose to ease from 12 weeks 😊

@ShiningStarz hello! Ive just landed back from the states and feeling sick as a dog now but i think more the bumpy transatlantic flight and not eating than anything else. Really hoping my scan letter is waiting for me when i get back.

Cant wait for my own bed. How are you?

I’m excited to be home after work lol, you must be over the moon to be getting home and back into your own bed 😊

I thought I was quite a level headed calm person.... this pregnancy has proved I’m the complete opposite!!! Im a worrier. Obsessively thinking about every twinge, worrying myself stupid!!! My poor partner lol!!!

I am literally wishing the next 2 weeks away 😩

Iv lost weight tho! No alcohol and eating so much better!!

@shiningstarz lucky you! I'm too scared to weigh myself. I used to vape and stopped when I found out. I kinda compensated with food before the nausea hit me. I still fit in my skinny jean's though so can't be that bad (I hope lol). I did have to change my bras already as my boobs are so much bigger.

@lilice that’s great you are in your skinnies! Some days I can and some days the bloat is too much!!!
I was expecting to have to get new bras but so far I’m ok.
Got the cold today and feel rotten ☹️

@ShiningStarz so no scan letter waiting and when i called they said they havent even sent it yet as i wont be 12 weeks til the 28th feb. So disappointing so more patience needed.

@emma278 you’ll probably receive it a week before, doesn’t give you much time to request the time off work tho!!
Mine came 2 weeks ago and my appt is 3rd March. I’m glad though as I need to give lots of notice to get the day off work.
Yes I could learn patience too 🤣🤣🤣

Oh I don't know how I am feeling, i feel tired and crampy all the time. I don't know what is going on and if that is normal. I am today finally 11 weeks.
I don't feel like eating and I feel sick just thinking of food. But in the end I manage to eat something. My breast aren't swollen but my nipples are definitely getting darker.
The only thing that is bothering me is actually the cramps that I get in my lower abdomen. It is very unpleasant to go around with that.
I have my 12 weeks scan on the 26th of feb.

How are you feeling? When is your scan and what week r you in now?

Hey @Sunshinexx95 oh I hope you are ok, all great signs tho!! it’s all the growing and pulling about down there giving us the cramps. Mine come and go. Eeeeek how exciting to be hitting 12 weeks next week!!!!

Iv got a stinking cold, woke up with a tickly cough n now my nose won’t stop running! I usually take decongestants but they are out Now 😩

Anybody elses brain completely useless? I didnt go to work today due to bad nausea and completely missed an important external meeting. I had to send a grovelling email afterwards. I feel like i cant retain any information or anything at the moment. I dont want to get in trouble!!! Xx

@emma278 i feel the same way and I am trying my best to focus but I look like an idiot most of the time trying to stare at the computer to do work lol. Also the cramps r killing me stupid as I am I lifted really heavy stuff at work today. I regret it so much because my back started hurting and I started cramping. I am so worried but I am watching out for any bleeding hopefully nothing and this baby is strong enough.

Hey everyone.
Finally over my cold. I used to be able to handle them instead of sleeping for a week!
It’s getting closer to scan time. Yet time seems to stand still! @Sunshinexx95 mine is also the 26th!
Decided to start looking at things we need to buy but I literally have no idea where to start so holding out for next week when we announce so people can actually help me and tell me what we really need!
Here’s to everyone’s time flying by to scans!
