Hi @Lilice yeah it's my 12 week but I'll be 13+2 and absolutely desperate to see if everything is ok and of course my baby! I've decided against early scans after speaking with my midwife about them.

I found out at 3 weeks so it's 10 weeks total of patience waiting to see baby for me! In a way the waiting has taught me to reconcile it in my head and just go with the flow. I'm doing all the right things and that's all I can do.

@Sunshinexx95 we are scan date buddies 💕 I will be so nervous too but also excited. The odds are everything will be ok so we have to cling to that.

I can't stop eating today. Sickness is going but feel shattered still. Also awful metal taste in my mouth but bar that I'm getting back to normal, hurray!

How's everyone else?

Hi all, i’m in the midst of nausea today and so so tired. I hope it ends soon. I can’t stand the sight of tea or coffee right now so i’m having one can of coke zero a day to try to get me through the afternoons at work. Midwife appt on Friday which is exciting, hoping i’ll get a date for my 12week scan at the appointment 😊

ShiningStarz · 11/02/2020 15:30

Flip @ChipsAreLife how have you waited so long!!!! I have a bad feeling the next 3 weeks are going to go so slow!!! I’m off for few days next week, so glad!!

ChipsAreLife · 11/02/2020 16:13

@shininhstarz I had two kids 19 months apart, I'm a very patient woman these days 🤣🤣🤣

Hi everyone
Is it just me or do you guys also feel not pregnant. A bit worried that everything is back to normal. I had a scan 27th of jan. but today I just feel weird... should I worry?

HugeAgeGap · 11/02/2020 18:38

@ChipsAreLife how far along are you now? I'm wanting some hope about the symptoms easing, you mentioned you're starting to feel better now? I'm about 9+3 today but still feeling so bad. I've been signed off work for another 2 weeks and am praying some point soon this will improve, I can't remember from last time.

Anyone else remember or symptoms starting to improve yet? x

ShiningStarz · 11/02/2020 18:43

Haha @ChipsAreLife 🤣🤣

LatteLover12 · 11/02/2020 19:03

Hi everyone, sickness still in full swing here and nothing helps!

Still waking up through the night and I think the heartburn is getting started too! I'm falling apart at the seams 😂

My DP has been a lot big surprised at how much it's taken out of me but he's been great so far.

I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow and I've booked in for a private scan. I've had a couple of losses previously so I really need to reassurance.

Fingers crossed please!

ChipsAreLife · 11/02/2020 19:51

@hugeagegap I'm 10 weeks tomorrow, I remember my sickness easing both times at this point. BUT I had to get cocky and have curry for dinner. I know feel absolutely dreadful and want to throw up again! 😞 my tiredness hasn't gone, feel asleep watching Pochontos with the kids earlier 🤟

@Sunshinexx95 how far along are you? The placenta starts to take over around 9/10 weeks and that eases a lot of symptoms. Also honestly I didn't really feel pregnant till I was much further along and struggled to get out of bed quickly, had constant heartburn and just felt heavy! Try not to worry, honestly you'll be fine.

Good luck @LatteLover12 ! Don't forgot what your body is actually doing. I said to DH the other week 'no wonder why I'm so knackered I'm building a heart and eyelids this week' 🤣🤣🤣

Im 8 weeks tomorrow and my nausea has been bad for the last two weeks. I feel like it's getting worse every day but luckily I haven't been physically sick (yet). Tonight I had wotsits and popcorn for dinner!!

Sunshinexx95 · 12/02/2020 07:44

@ChipsAreLife
Hi I am either 10+1 ( according to my latest ultrasound) or I'm 9+4. I have no symptoms at all. Lol I never had nausea ... It is not healthy to worry so much Envymy mum told me to relax but how can I hehe

HugeAgeGap · 12/02/2020 08:12

@Lilice im the same, just nausea not vomiting, aversions to absolutely everything. I immediately lost about half a stone (I'm small anyway) straight away as just couldn't eat anything. Now I'm able to eat little and often, the things I really fancy (junk mostly). I'm about 9+4 and not feeling any better yet :-( I feel worried how long this is actually going to continue.

ShiningStarz · 12/02/2020 08:50

Morning all,
I’m struggling with how slow time seems to be going!!
I had so much wind yesterday, glad though as seems to have help flatten my stomach!!
Only symptom sore boobs and falling asleep on sofa every evening!! Have good day everyone x

ChipsAreLife · 12/02/2020 09:37

Honestly @sunshine please don't worry. Some people don't get symptoms! You've seen a heartbeat so chances are everything is fine, try to focus on positives to ease the worry. I know people who didn't know there were pregnant for months because they felt so normal!

I really shouldn't have eaten that curry was sick this morning and feel absolutely crap today. Can't concentrate on work as feel so incredibly rough 😰 I'm going back to beige food for the foreseeable future!

Sorry to hear you're feeling the same @hugeagegap @lilice. Apparently it goes at 12/14 weeks so let's cling on to that!!!!

On the plus side I'm 10 weeks today 🥳

OP posts:
Roxy8203 · 12/02/2020 10:33

Week 10 definitely seems like a mile post for some reason 😂. I hit 10 on Friday so I can see 12 weeks in the distance and can't wait for my scan.

Everyone's symptoms are very different. All I have is sore boobs and trapped wind when I'm at work coz may waistband is getting tight. Sorry so many of you are feeling rough, I hope it eases off soon

OrDis · 12/02/2020 10:53

@ChipsAreLife i’ve eaten nothing but beige food today and feel remarkably normal... but then I worry because i’m feeling ok. The rational part of me knows it’s because i’ve stuck to such bland food that i’m feeling alright, but the irrational part of me can’t help but worry a bit every time I feel a little better... this pregnancy malarky really is bizzare!!!

Lilice · 12/02/2020 12:39

@ShiningStarz tell me about it, i Feel like ive been pregnant for 10 years and im only 8 weeks today. I think it's because it took me 6 cycles to conceive this time so the whole thing is just dragging on and I cant wait for my first scan to know everything is allright in there.
Last night I had such a scare before I went to bed. Sorry TMI alert
I had brown mucus when I wiped after having a wee. It was just this once and no other symptons like cramps or anything like that. Now I feel even more anxious. Luckily I have my first midwife appointment today so ill be able to ask her about that.
I barely have any nausea today, but still had wotsits and popcorn for lunch... Im naughty...

LatteLover12 · 12/02/2020 12:46

Just back from my scan. Lovely strong heartbeat and measuring bang on for dates. Huge sigh of relief!

Lazydaisydaydream · 12/02/2020 15:54

Ahh lovely scan @LatteLover12

I'm just feeling like I've imagined the whole thing and I'm not pregnant at all. Have my scan on Monday and I'm so nervous for it.

My DH is getting all excited about telling our family after the scan, and the way I feel at the moment I just don't want to tell anyone! Don't really know why. Sad

ChipsAreLife · 12/02/2020 19:30

@Lilice just added popcorn to my Ocado shop this week after I read that 🤣
Sorry to hear about the brown discharge, hopefully it's nothing to work about.

@LatteLover12 congrats! That's lovely news.

Time definitely goes so slowly until dating scan, then it speeds up a bit.

Hope everyone is well

OP posts:
Lilice · 12/02/2020 21:02

@LatteLover12 how lovely, you must be so happy.
@ChipsAreLife toffee popcorn is the best. I did manage a super healthy dinner tonight with spinach rice and salmon!
@Lazydaisydaydream have you thought about how you're going to break the news?

Lilice · 12/02/2020 21:04

@ChipsAreLife I told the midwive about the brown discharge and she said not to worry about it, what a relief!

ShiningStarz · 12/02/2020 21:10

@lilice I had 5 days of brown discharge and all was fine. The doc said it was coming from the cervix and nothing to worry about. Great your midwife has put your mind at ease 😊

@LatteLover12 that’s fab!! So pleased for you!!

@Roxy8203 I’m strangely looking forward to 10 weeks too!! For me that’ll be next Tues 🤞

LatteLover12 · 12/02/2020 21:16

Thanks ladies, I'm very relieved.

I started to panic and cry when I went into the room so the sonographer very quickly found the heartbeat and we went from there.

ShiningStarz · 12/02/2020 21:31

Awww @LatteLover12 it’s such an emotional experience! I thought I would have been more emotional but i was actually fine!! Suprised myself lol
