Pregnancy after MMC

Congratulations to you all with babes here or on the way. I am 9 weeks today after a MMC in Feb and am terrified too @MrsMGE it’s really unfair the anxiety of pregnancy after a loss. I had a big bleed at 7.5 and thought that was out but the next day I booked in for early scan as the anxiety was taking over every minute we saw a little heartbeat and it was amazing. I was nauseous for a few days last week and so relieved after I had no symptoms with my MMC but they have all gone now and I’m worried sick. Going to wait another week until 10 weeks to book another early scan - EPU won’t see me and wouldn’t even with my bleed. Can’t even get a booking appt with MW at the moment!

I am no longer pregnant. The pregnancy didn't progress, I went for an early scan and had an op since. I am feeling well, but not in the mood for MN where everyone succeeded but me. I can't start afresh and rejoin miscarriage threads with what would be the third lot of ladies supporting me throughout this very long and unsuccessful journey. So I'm off, for good.

I will be going through a recurrent miscarriage clinic and probably do private tests. At the moment I'm a bit overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done and how to go about things.

@MrsMGE I’ve only just seen this. I’m not sure if you’ll get this but I just wanted to say I’m so sorry! It’s so unfair you’ve had to go through this. I know nothing I say will make it better. I could tell you about people I know who’ve had three or more losses and then had success. I could tell you to not give up and keep trying but I can imagine hearing those things is not helpful at the moment. I really hope you get some answers soon and you go on to have success. You’re such a lovely person and been really supportive to all of us on this thread for which I’m grateful for. You’ll be missed on MN I’m sure but completely understandable it’s not a good place at the moment. I wish you all the luck in the world! Xxx

Thanks @catconfusion I just started bleeding again this morning after nothing for 2 weeks. This is so stressful and just seems so exhausting. EPU still not interested so have booked another private scan for this afternoon. I’m a nervous wreck 😭

@catconfusion thanks so much saw their little heartbeat again and sonographer said all looks good. 2 weeks ago baby was 7+5 so expected today to be 9+5 but was 9+2. Trying not to worry about the 3 days but it’s hard not to!

I’m so pleased for you @Mrs173 that’s amazing news. I’m sure a few days is fine but like you say, it’s hard not to worry. I was a nervous wreck with my pregnancy at times. It’s hard not to worry. How long do you have before your 12 week scan? Xx

@Catconfusion sorry I just saw this! Thanks for asking for me! I've been feeling so sad for MrsMGE (not tagging her as she doesn't want to be on here), I've not been that active to be honest. I hope she succeeds in her journey in the end!

All fine with me thank you 😄 currently 25 weeks, he's kicking a lot and is very active so I feel much more relaxed about everything! Dr already talking to me about my birth plan etc, it feels surreal!

How was the third trimester for you? does it feel quicker than the first trimester (which feels sooooo long?). I'm feeling really good atm and hopefully I will continue feeling this way... no sickness and lots of energy, not that big yet so not hard to move around etc. Did you get bigger very quickly in 3rd trimester? I'm just wondering when all the weight will pile on and I balloon as I'm sure it should happen soon🤣

Sorry @SunStruck was just wondering how you are? Realised I didn’t reply to you. My brain has been a bit frazzled with lack of sleep etc. Motherhood is great thanks. It’s full on but amazing. How are you getting on? Xx

Oh @SunStruck in answer to your question, I’d say it went quickly. I felt pretty good but did suffer with my mobility as I was huge. Also with the arthritis I had in my hips I ended up on crutches for the last 6 weeks. My best advice is find out as much as you can on breastfeeding. I’m not sure if I said before. I was just worried I was investing too much as it didn’t feel real he would actually be born ok. It was a big shock to the system how hard it is. Anyway, hope you’re ok! Xx
