Wow @Catconfusion that’s really terrifying! I can’t believe that some people wouldn’t wear masks. Also can’t believe you have a confined case on the maternity ward. It’s so terrifying to think about accessing healthcare right now, I’m really scared to go to the gp in a month for the 8 week vaccinations. I’m considering not going. It must be so tough for you with the reduced movement scare too, it’s really hard to weigh the risks. Hang in there you are almost at the finish line!❤️

@Amanda81 thanks for setting up the WhatsApp! I’ll pm you my number as well. I how’s Holly doing?

This is poor at best @Catconfusion - so sort you've had to witness and experience these occurrences at what should be a wonderful happy, exciting (if not daunting) time. Hopefully, after Sunday they will release you so that you can fully isolate yourself from any causes of concern. Really sorry to hear that baby has been quiet today. Keep monitoring and do what you need to do tomorrow should he be quiet again. He's a biggy, so might just be cooped up nice and tight. When you get chance, PM me your number and I will add you to the WhatsApp group xx

We need to go to the doctors next Tuesday for hollys 16 weeks vacs also @sadtoday21. We don't want to miss it. However, we've agreed that my DH will take her and should at any point he feel that the isolation measures and not being followed he will whip her out of there. We've been to the Doctors before the lock down but whilst 'measures' were in place and thankfully our GPs seem to be taking sufficient precautions. We have hand sanitiser etc. It's the people who don't take this seriously which worry me. You can't control them. There the ones to watch and be mindful of. The vaccinations are important (to us), so we will do our best to make sure she gets them. We also had a test for the genetic disorder that runs in my family to be undertaken on Holly set up for next week, but we've postponed this for now. This can wait until UK later after we are all safe and we know how to handle this pandemic xx

Hey @sadtoday21 - we are all over on WhatsApp, and waiting for you. Hope all is okay x

sadtoday21 · 04/04/2020 06:03

@Amanda81 just realised I forgot to PM you, doing it now! All is well, just another long day/night of fussiness and crying, while trying to get supplies so we can stay in self-isolation. Thanks for adding me :)

Morning girls! Just wanted to post my surprise BFP from this morning!!! ❤️

I'm shocked!!! After deciding not to TTC for some time to see how the CV pans out, DH and I changed our minds having realised we're in this for a long, long haul. Also the job situation is clearer and secure now and I'm wfh, so we though, whatever.

I had my appointment with a private consultant in March (brought forward because of the CV) and I've been on Cyclogest which I was convinced didn't work. My cycle was all over the place after the second MC too. I had a BFN two days ago and got very merry drinking gin with my colleagues on Skype before the Easter break 😂🤦🏼‍♀️😳 And today woke up to this!!!

If this one works out, I'll be having a Christmas baby 😊

Early days, but I'm really happy that it's happened again. Will keep you updated, maybe it's my third time lucky 🍀🤞 xxx

Yay, this is amazing news @MrsMGE What a lovely Easter present. Love that you drank some gin over Skype. It seems drinking in the early days has no affect. My midwife was saying she got plastered every weekend then found out she was pregnant by surprise at 6 weeks. Everything was fine. Sure you’ll be ok because you know now and can stop.

I have news too. My son, Beren Philip was born on Monday. He’s making us so happy during such a worrying time.

It will be lovely having a Christmas baby. Fingers crossed for you! Xx

Thank you @Catconfusion 😊❤️🙏 Weirdly, I've gone into a baby brain mode straight away this time and despite everything, I'm feeling happy, excited and peaceful. What will be, will be.

Omg, your son is absolutely gorgeous 😍 Huge congratulations ❤️❤️❤️ lovely names too! I'm so happy for you! Hope the birth went ok. How are you all doing now? xxx

Kiki061190 · 12/04/2020 11:16

@MrsMGE Oh congratulations!!!!!!!! What a beautiful Easter gift 💝 I have everything crossed for you and sending you all the love! I’m 39+3 just now so just playing the waiting game. Baby showing no signs of budging 🤣

@Catconfusion Still can’t get over the cuteness 💝

MrsMGE · 12/04/2020 12:20

Thank you @Kiki061190 ❤️❤️❤️ You must be so excited right now! What's your gut feeling, when is the little one going to make an appearance? Xxx

Kiki061190 · 12/04/2020 14:22

@MrsMGE I’m so convinced she’s going to be late 🤭 I have a sweep booked for Friday which is when I would be 1 day overdue. Im hoping that will help if she doesn’t show before then. I have a gut feeling labour may kick off next weekend or the following week. Truly uncomfortable now though and just wanting to meet her now!

bananamonkey · 15/04/2020 09:00

Congratulations @MrsMGE this is great news, so so pleased for you! I had the worst hangover of my life just before I found out I was pregnant first time, it seems pretty common Blush

MrsMGE · 22/04/2020 17:48

Thank you @bananamonkey😊❤️

@Kiki061190 Been thinking of you, how are you doing?

Kiki061190 · 22/04/2020 18:54

@MrsMGE Hi hun! Thanks so much for asking after me! I gave birth to our daughter Bella Sunday night. Only got home last night as I had a hard delivery and required some treatment after. She is an absolute dream and my OH and I are just so in love 💓 how are you?

I’ve also been thinking of you and @SunStruck and how you are both getting on!

Xx

MrsMGE · 22/04/2020 18:57

Omg congratulations ❤️❤️❤️ How absolutely lovely! Enjoy your time with Bella and take care of yourself now. Let us know how it all went when you're up to it.

All good here, I'm 6+1, nauseous most mornings, but it gets better after I eat something. Still very early days for me 😊 @SunStruck has a beautiful bump already!

Congratulations again ❤️❤️ xxx

SunStruck · 05/05/2020 14:06

@Catconfusion @Kiki061190 congratulations!!!! 😍 so happy for you guys, @Catconfusion your son is beautiful. I'm sure Bella is too, @Kiki061190! How's motherhood treating you? ☺️

Thanks for asking for me, I'm all good and have my 20 week scan next week! NIPT results came back low risk for everything, and we're expecting a boy 🥰

I am not feeling any movements yet, out of curiosity when did you guys start feeling movement? This is my first.

Hope you're all keeping safe in these difficult times at the moment!

Catconfusion · 07/05/2020 16:21

Yay @SunStruck that’s absolutely fantastic news. Congratulations fellow boy mum. I was quite late with movements as anterior placenta. I think I felt the first real flutters the week after my 20 week scan. It probably isn’t long for you now. It’s just so exciting! Xx

@MrsMGE how are you getting on? Xx

MrsMGE · 07/05/2020 16:26

@Catconfusion Good thanks, 8.5 weeks and still ok (I'm not having early scans so I don't know any bad news!). My 12 week scan is on 10 June. How are you and your little boy? Xx

SunStruck · 09/05/2020 04:31

@Catconfusion thank you!!! ❤️ how is life as a mum?? I just can't get it in my head that I'm most likely to become a mum in 20 weeks' time... it is all so surreal! I don't know anything about babies 😰😰😰 I don't even know if they're doing antenatal classes now due to covid, I have to ask on my scan next week 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Catconfusion · 10/05/2020 13:09

@MrsMGE that’s great news. Your chances are very good now you’ve got to this stage. Not long to go now until you get the reassurance of the scan. I think I’d be tempted to wait it out if we have another. Beren is doing well thanks. It’s very full on but we’re loving being parents. It’s honestly worth the stress of journey here xx

Catconfusion · 10/05/2020 13:13

@SunStruck so glad it’s going well. Being a mum is tough but definitely worth it. I didn’t have a clue to be honest. I found the antenatal stuff hard because I think on some level I didn’t believe it would happen. I wish now I’d learnt a bit more about breastfeeding. It’s a lot tougher than I realised but again, totally worth it. If you can do some classes online I’d definitely say it will help. I did a short course and it helped with some of the basics. Let us know how the scan goes! Xx

MrsMGE · 10/05/2020 13:22

@Catconfusion I'm so happy for you. I'm nearly 9 weeks now and having a major wobble, I haven't had symptoms for a few days now, I'm basically not feeling pregnant and we all know what this is likely to mean. The only reason why I'm not going to an early scan is because ERPCs aren't offered at the moment due to Covid. I've got my 12 ws on the anniversary of my first MMC as well, still 4 weeks to wait. It's become very, very difficult mentally now, tbh, to the point where I've started questioning if this is even worth it. I hate pregnancy, that's the truth of it, I'm not cut out for it and in the ideal world, I would prefer to skip this whole process if I'm completely honest. It's only ever causing me stress and anxiety, starting from TTC it's neverending. Sorry, I'm having a shit day today. You have given me a bit of hope when you said that it's all worth it. But right now I'm convinced this is going to be more bad news and the thought if trying again makes me feel sick. Xx

SunStruck · 11/05/2020 04:05

@Catconfusion thanks for the update and good to know your honest opinion! I'll definitely look into breastfeeding more and try to read up about everything. I also feel that I don't want to plan too much now in case something goes wrong, I'll wait for the 20 week scan and will probably have to kick my arse into gear after that if all is well 😅

@MrsMGE hey sista, I'm sorry you're having a wobble, I had about 50 wobbles before the 12 week scan. Still having them! Pregnancy after loss is majorly stressful, and we're the unlucky few who truly understand what it's like. I can't really tell you to relax as I know you can't until you've had a good scan at 12 weeks, but my advice is to remember that you can't do anything about the outcome anyway, what will he will be. Thousands of times more likely that all will be well though, just looking at statistics. Pregnancy symptoms really mean nothing, although I get that it's more reassuring having them. I for one, was gutted I was feeling absolutely awful (nausea) although my MMC had already been confirmed, and continued feeling this way until I had my d&c almost 4 weeks later.

The most important thing is that today you're pregnant, remember when you weren't and you wished that you were? And you were wondering what's wrong with me, why am I not getting pregnant? That was only a few months ago. Try to remember that, I tried to do that in the early and pessimistic stages. Well, now you are and we have to go through this terrible anxious time to get out on the other side with a baby in our arms! I'm here to handhold on the way ❤️

Catconfusion · 11/05/2020 09:40

Oh no @MrsMGE I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way but totally understand. I had a fair few wobbles. I was really ill for pretty much 24 weeks but was ill with the mmc so it didn’t really reassure me. On days when I felt a bit better I convinced myself I was losing the baby. The difficulty with early pregnancy is the symptoms can come and go at will so likely everything is fine.

It’s really rubbish they’re not offering ERPCs so I can see your reasoning for not wanting to have a scan. It would be ridiculously unlucky to be in that position again though. I guess all you can do is hang on in there for the next four weeks. Try and keep as busy as you can. I’ll be thinking of you. Xx

Catconfusion · 11/05/2020 09:44

@SunStruck you’ll feel so much better after the 20 week scan. Also feeling regular movements is a real game changer. You know baby is alive when they are doing somersaults. Until then it’s such a surreal thought to imagine that baby being there. I had a couple of monitoring sessions for reduced movements and in hindsight I think it was panic due to previous losses. Really glad I got it checked out though. Not long now and you’ll feel so much more reassured. It really is a long journey! Xx

Catconfusion · 05/06/2020 18:55

Hey @SunStruck and @MrsMGE been thinking about you both. How are you getting on? Xx
