@Jowd92 how did you get on last night?
I was awake half the night with pains, thought I was starting & then bang, nothing!

Still waiting not happy they keep saying it's because there busy but I dont understand why they made me come in when they have no intentions to start me :( looks like a long day of waiting

Oh no!! Poor you, could you not go home and ask to be booked in another day? Not a good way to start :(, so sorry! Hope you get some good news soon!

I had pains until 2am then I actually drifted off to sleep for a few hours. Didn't want to move incase the pains came back but not to bad this morning.

Now I'm up and awake I'm thinking right come on baby.

@Jowd92 hopefully they have started you off by now, seems silly how they made you go in but have not done anything.

Well I've tried everything now and still no joy. Would really appreciate baby coming soon as night time is definitely the worse time when trying to get comfortable.

Just unexpectedly saw baby again during a kidney scan
I think he looks like DH . Hadn’t been able to get a good look at his face before

@Jowd92 hopefully things are happening for you and that your partners there!! Come back and update us when you are able x

I have had a super busy weekend and have had lots of niggles, and am now bouncing with period like pains but it hasn't seemed to amount to anything which is annoying 😓

My back/hip pain has really ramped up lately
I’m waddling like a duck it’s getting embarrassing

@Comps83 I'm the same every time I stand up from sitting it feels like a person is gonna fall out lol

Just lost my mucus plug at 5am thought I was having contractions last night but eased sr midnight.

Just had another pain nothing to major. Have hopped back into bed 🙈 see if I can sleep a little more.

My first so all new to me.

@Comps83 and @December2019 ahh I know how you feel about the waddling but mine is definitely pelvic pain and not because baby feels low and going to fall out (I wish!!)

I had stomach pains last night but I think it was just food related, no contractions or anything 🙄!! Grr hurry up baby!

@bespokepaininthearse I hear period pains are meant to be promising, how are you feeling today?

@jpaws I feel your pain with nighttime, I literally wake up every hour or so and have to take paracetamol to get to sleep because of the pelvic pain 😩!

Didnt get started until half 5 last night they inserted the pessary been having some contractions this morning back on monitors to track them but all my pain is in my back and hips they said baby is back to back also hope things get moving soon

@Jowd92 aww hope things have improved as much they can.
@TTc2019BabyNo1 it's terrible isn't it. I had to sit up in bed last night as was getting a really uncomfortable pain but managed to sleep in the end until about 5:30 ish.
I'm now 40+6, been losing plug for weeks and was 2cm last week at sweep. Having another on Thursday but unless I've progressed further without realising it, really think ill end up being induced.

@jpaws ahh that’s promising you were 2cm! Hopefully there’ll be some good news at your next sweep so you can avoid induction!
I have absolutely no idea where I’m at. I thought I was getting BH but now when I look at my stomach i think it’s just the baby pushing out occasionally! So I have had no signs at all, I wish I had a bit of plug so I knew something was happening, but nooo 🙄!
I’ve just made a massive pineapple smoothie and now feel sick and don’t want to eat pineapple ever again 😂!

@Comps83 what did you decide on the sweep in the end?

Aww try not to stress. If you aren’t really wanting it done, I’d say don’t have it. You can always postpone 👍

I think the fact that you're hesitating so much means you're not ready for it. It is by no means doing the wrong thing. Not having a sweep attempted will not do anything to harm your baby. You can refuse and the next day change your mind and ask for one to be arranged.

@Comps83 I would refuse if you still are in 2 minds, you really don't want it. In fairness a sweep has only a small chance of working so it's not worth the stress for you I'd imagine to go ahead with it.
@Jowd92 hopefully your near the end now or have ur little one!!

I've come in for induction, got here at 8 tonight. Labour ward is pretty busy so won't be brought up till morning to break my waters. I got the gel around 10.30 ,& a sweep. They had me on monitors before that and said I'm getting a good few tightenings so they are hopeful that breaking my waters will move things on quickly. Cervix is still quite high but baby is right down & cervix is lovely & soft! I'm so scared of what's to come it's not even funny! This is my 4th you would think I'd know better now

@TTc2019BabyNo1 I had period pains all night, but gone this morning which is annoying, not a lot today but have felt very bleurgh all day and absolutely no energy so that's been fun 🙄 baby is still incredibly active, I don't remember my first being this active before I went into labour so not holding out a lot of hope it's on it's way soon.

@starflake Oo exciting being there ready and waiting! I hope it goes smoothly for you and not too long!!

All the best good luck to you hope it goes well, so after my long process I finally have my little man at 00:38am this morning weighing 6lb 3oz ended up in theatre with forceps my worst labour and delivery by far! So glad it's all over now

@starflake all the best of luck! I hope it’s not too long until you meet your little one! I’m sure being anxious is normal whether you’ve had children before or not! I hope it all goes okay!

@bespokepaininthearse ahh I’ve had pains all night too and my stomach just goes constantly hard - I just assumed it’s the baby stretching out and staying there. Mine is also really active! Won’t stop moving which is why I’m thinking my hard, tight stomach is her not BH but I have no idea tbh!
I wish I knew what a contraction felt like so I knew when labour was starting.
Just pains and a bit of pain and dodgy tummy this morning, nothing more - I wish this mucus plug would hurry up so I knew something was happening lol!!
