Hey! Just wanted to start up a thread because I couldn’t find another one, just got my BFP today after about 6 months of trying. Due date is 1st august! Still feeling nervous as I’ve had 2 miscarriages in the past but both before 6 weeks, so ill be keeping my fingers crossed and wont let myself get too excited until that deadline has passed!

Hope to hear from other ladies due at the same time, and hear your BFP stories :) xx

Having a dog walking business must be brilliant. We've always wanted a dog but we both work FT so it's not possible sadly.

Girlinglasses · 16/12/2019 07:08

I'm still here too 🙋🏻‍♀️ I'm a teacher but luckily we've broken up for the hols now until jan 7th, and I'm hoping my nausea might have eased off a bit by then, although I don't know if that's very naive of me 😂

Macbless · 16/12/2019 07:16

I'm still here too. 👋
Not too much to say. I've been off work for over a week ill with an awful cold. Still not 100% but going to go in and see how I get on.
We've got a scan booked for a weeks time. I'm excited but also worried it will show a MMC. No evidence for that boobs sore, some nausea and no bleeding but still feel nervous.

Jojo19834 · 16/12/2019 07:20

I’m still here too! Check in at least once a day :-)

Have my scan today and really worried. To me it feels like test day when all your hopes can just be taken away from you again. And I haven’t even had any losses yet so can’t imagine how some people’s anxiety can be. Think I’m panicking as I just don’t really have any symptoms. I’m 6+5 today. I know I could be a lucky one, or a 7 weeker but there is something comforting about symptoms. I’m going to be a constant scanner I think

princesspeppax · 16/12/2019 07:27

alijangra · 16/12/2019 08:08

Congratulations to you all! Smile I had my BFP last Wednesday, Clomid pregnancy after trying for 4 years. Had a mc in 2015. SUPER nervous about every little twinge, suffering with trapped wind Confused my EDD is 13th August Smile

Macbless · 16/12/2019 08:13

Congratulations to the new posters xxx

@Jojo19834 really hope that scan goes well and you get to see your gorgeous baby! Xx

Frazzlerock · 16/12/2019 08:28

Huge luck @Jojo19834 Please let us know how you get on. What time is your scan?

Tink12345 · 16/12/2019 08:34

Fingers and toes crossed @Jojo19834

Firstmummytobe · 16/12/2019 08:55

How many weeks will you all be when you have your early scans? To be honest I wouldn’t book to early as not seeing a heart beat can be so scary and make you even worse with the anxiety! Just a thought, it’s also quite expensive so sometimes not worth going too early as you can’t really see much.

Mine is booked for this thursday 18th December where I will be 7+6 so basically 8 weeks and I’m so excited🥰🥰🥰

Lucylou22039 · 16/12/2019 08:58

I'm still here ladies

Frazzlerock · 16/12/2019 09:00

@Firstmummytobe mine's on Friday at 7 weeks (presumably 7 weeks according to ov date minus 2 weeks). Our RMC have said they will scan me regularly this time
Loads of luck for Thursday!

22Ash22 · 16/12/2019 09:30

@frazzlerock my scan is at 4.30pm so have to wait all day and I’m sure it’ll be the longest day of my life 😂 what time is yours. Cannot believe in only a few days time we get to see it on screen and make sure everything’s okay.

Frazzlerock · 16/12/2019 09:41

My actual appointment is at 8am. Hopefully our consultant will be on time. We always end up waiting a good 30 mins. If that happens my anxiety will go through the roof. I remember when we went for our final scan in my previous pregnancy just over a year ago and I was nearly sick with fear waiting in the waiting room. I was shaking all over and could barely breath. Then my fears were confirmed Sad
I wish we could just have a normal happy pregnancy without all this worry. MC takes away so much joy

Frazzlerock · 16/12/2019 09:41

Anyway, THIS time will be different. For all of us!!

coley17 · 16/12/2019 10:44

Hope you don't mind me joining? Got my bfp last night 🎉 excited but a bit overwhelmed!

Moominmiss · 16/12/2019 11:30

I’m staying in here too. I joined the fb page but then left again. I feel safer and happier posting in here.

I’m feeling super nervous. I’m supposedly 7 weeks today. We have a scan booked for Christmas Eve when I’ll be 8+2 so hoping to see baby where it should be and all looking healthy.

I’ve started totally panicking over how we’ll cope financially when baby is born and I have to go back to work. We totally planned all of this so it’s not like it was a shock, but now it’s happening I’m panicking like mad how on earth we will pay full time childcare 😩

I work as a science technician in a school so the hours and working term time is literally perfect as I have 3 children all in school so works brilliantly around them, and I adore my job. So I would hate to give it up, but having to put a baby in full time nursery will be £1000 a month and I don’t earn much more than that 🤦🏼‍♀️ Which means my partners wage will have to cover rent and bills, and with rent of £1000 a month, plus bills, he’s going to be working flat out (he’s self employed so more work means more pay). But also with self employed means his income isn’t always guaranteed.

I don’t know why this is only just hitting me now as like I said we’d discussed it all previously. But it’s like now it’s like omg, it’s actually happening 😂

jennielm · 16/12/2019 11:40

Hi all, I’m still here too. @Tink12345 good luck today, fingers crossed all is fine and @Frazzlerock good luck for Friday. I’m seeing GP on Thursday, which is the 3rd birthday of my stillborn Sophie, so quite bittersweet, but they have indicated they may do early scan due to stillbirth and miscarriage which is reassuring and I’ve also booked a private scan for 30th December, literally the earliest they would see me!! 🤞🤞🤞

LanieM87 · 16/12/2019 12:00

I've just booked an early scan for the 27.12, I'll be 8+5 so hopefully will be able to see something!! God I hope everything is ok! I won't be able to concentrate at work!

nl192 · 16/12/2019 12:16

I just wanted to leave an update from my previous post,

After 9 losses, I had an early scan today and we saw a heartbeat. Dated me at 6 weeks 4 days!

I'm over the moon as I dont generally hey past 6 weeks xx

Frazzlerock · 16/12/2019 12:49

Awesome news @nl192!!! Is your date as you thought?
I'm honestly so thrilled for you, you so deserve this! It also gives us all a bit of hope too!
Do you have a picture to share with us?

Welcome @coley17

@Moominmiss I am also a bit worried about how we will afford another one, but my desperation after losing our first loss baby was just too much to cope with. I figured we'd work it out!

@jennielm I'll be thinking of you on Thursday, Do you usually do anything to mark the day? I usually go down to the cemetery on our little one's due date. I read her 'The Tiger That Came To Tea this year and planted some forget me nots Smile

blackpinkinyourarea · 16/12/2019 12:50

@TerribleImagination Im so very sorry for your loss SadFlowers

@LucyC2019 i have a scan booked for saturday too! Im 6+4 today so will be 7+2 on the day. Terrified of bad news which is why ive not posted yet on the FB group.. i just dont want to let myself get carried away. Apparently you have to have a FULL bladder for optimal results, but you have to allow a whole hour for your appointment even though the scan wont take that long. Not sure how im going to cope with that part haha!

@nl192 thats wonderful news, so pleased for you Smile

@Jojo19834 good luck for your scan today!

@Babykent2019 Im 6+4 today and would say boob soreness has only just started to kick in, before that just sensitive nips! Ive escaped morning sickness so far but did feel a teeny bit sick this morning so maybe thats coming to an end Confused Definitely dont be worried with the lack of those symptoms, it really is different for everyone!

MaisieMolly · 16/12/2019 14:40

I’m still here! I don’t use Facebook so will continue posting here occasionally and I do read everyone’s posts too.

I’m about 6+1 or 2 according to my ovulation date. I gave in and used the final Clearblue weeks test and it’s showing 3+ weeks now after still showing 2-3 in the middle of last week. I won’t be getting any more of those, too stressful!

Still got sore boobs, very slight nausea has started today. I’m thinking of booking an early scan when I’ll be about 8 weeks after Christmas, but also terrified of it being bad news.

Going to tell my parents at Christmas as we’re visiting them and the no booze will be far too obvious. Not planning to tell anyone else yet though. Who else is going to tell people over Christmas and what are you going to say? I don’t want to get everyone too excited as it’s still early days and want to just have Christmas as normal. But I know it’s also big news especially as my parents don’t have any grandchildren yet!

Jojo19834 · 16/12/2019 15:15

Wowzers what a busy chat today! Thank you all for the well wishes. Thankfully all went well and we saw the heartbeat, everything is how it should be and positioned correctly. On to the next week but at least it’s real for now and now a chemical/false pregnancy. One hurdle down :-) put me at just under 7 weeks so sounds right based on my 6+5 weeks today. So relieved, was worried as not having many symptoms atm and was thinking the nausea was in my head. Thankfully if I am symptom free all is still well. Don’t expect it to last though.....
