Hey! Just wanted to start up a thread because I couldn’t find another one, just got my BFP today after about 6 months of trying. Due date is 1st august! Still feeling nervous as I’ve had 2 miscarriages in the past but both before 6 weeks, so ill be keeping my fingers crossed and wont let myself get too excited until that deadline has passed!

Hope to hear from other ladies due at the same time, and hear your BFP stories :) xx

LanieM87 I've also had some pink spotting this morning, such a worry I have to try keep busy just to occupy me mind,my 1st gp appointment ain't till xmas eve,it seems so far away,I've no pain though,si nice to come on here and talk it helps alot.

Jojo19834 · 07/12/2019 10:34

@cooperma they are none to be a little temperamental depending on time of day and how diluted you are etc. I did another this morning (addict) and has finally gone to 3+ but it is a different time of day as been doing evenings until today. So who knows

Girlinglasses · 07/12/2019 13:06

@MrsC105 I'm so sorry you're going through such an anxious time. This whole early pregnancy thing is such a rollercoaster I don't know how we are supposed to deal with it all. It's all I can think about.

I spent ANOTHER £12 on more digital tests today (I'll have to build a cot out of old pregnancy tests because I won't be able to afford to buy one at this stage) but when I tested this morning it had gone up to 3+ which is comforting. I am basically away from when I will be 6+1 until about 8+3 so that's the earliest I'll be able to get an early scan, but think I will defo go in for one then.

Anyone else here in a situation where they are going to have to move either before or shortly after baby arrives?

PandaPink · 07/12/2019 13:13

@Cooperma you have to add two weeks onto your clear blue digital result.

@MrsC105 please don't go through this alone. No more testing today and try again first thing tomorrow x

Joining in...hoping my tiny faint lines in 3 internet cheapies mean that I can say I have my BFP but trying to keep my hopes under control after having a stillbirth at 35 weeks in 2016 and a miscarriage at 6+6 in August. I have a sunshine and a 20 month rainbow, just praying this little one stick. Sad

sel2223 · 07/12/2019 17:16

Congratulations to you all and fingers crossed for healthy happy pregnancies all round!

I just found out I'm pregnant a couple of days ago and online calculators say I'm due around August 10th!
I'm 37, this is my first pregnancy and it wasn't exactly planned but we are very happy!

sel2223 · 07/12/2019 17:18

Praying right along with you

sel2223 · 07/12/2019 17:19

@Girlinglasses I'm in a LDR as in the babies father and I currently live in different countries!
It actually hurts my brain trying to think what we are going to do!

Girlinglasses · 07/12/2019 17:40

@sel2223 wow that IS a tough one! What do you think you might do? We have been trying to sell our little 1 bed for about 6 months but due to brexit nothing's been happening, we're going to have to start trying again in earnest in Jan. Have to say I don't relish the thought of trying to sort my life out whilst heavily pregnant/ with a new born 🙃

Jojo19834 · 07/12/2019 18:24

@jennielm wow what a journey you have had, really hoping all goes right for you this time. A friend of a friend had a stillbirth and quite understandably didn’t enjoy a moment of her second pregnancy, but resulted in a happy little bubba so just because you had to one horror doesn’t mean you are due another!

@sel2223 congratulations, I’m 36 and my first so looking forward to sharing with you!

Have to say I have been to the loo a thousand times today. Spent a couple of hours at my dads this afternoon and they couldn’t believe I kept going! Anyone else worried about the amount of liquid they are expelling?!

Hayles695 · 07/12/2019 18:39

Hi all,

Been having faint positives for a week and did 2 clear blue today which both came back with a BFP. Decided to let myself believe it. Had a chemical last month so was a bit worried. This is #2 my daughter is 14...I must be mad.

I believe I’m due on 10-8 😆

jennielm · 07/12/2019 19:03

@hayles695 my eldest is 12, will be 13 (hopefully) when this one comes and will also have a 2.5 year old. Shock

Hayles695 · 07/12/2019 19:23

@jennielm at least she'll be old enough to help out Smile

EROD · 07/12/2019 20:44

Just caught up on all the posts. Sounds like there’s lots of you having an anxious time 😬
I’m still enjoying keeping my little secret to myself. I think I’ll tell my husband next week.
My son (age 5) said to my daughter last week that he’d get her a baby sister for her birthday. Freaky because we’ve always told them we’re not having anymore babies. My DD birthday is 9th August so who knows 🤷‍♀️She cried when she found out her little brother (age 2) was a boy 🙈🙈

In other news how are you all doing with your Christmas decs? It was my DS 2nd birthday on Thursday so we waited until after that to put them up. Loving the twinkling Christmas tree

icantbecani · 08/12/2019 05:56

Hi everyone, I'm not sure when my lmp was but pretty sure I'm about 6 weeks. It's my 5th baby 🤭 and unplanned. I'm 42. Just starting to get excited but ask crippled with embarrassment at the thought of telling people.

Really nauseous, knackered (but can't sleep). Currently lying in bed desperate for a wee. Very moody! Congratulations everyone. Xx

DanielleG96 · 08/12/2019 06:25

Hi all, I don't know if anyone else is like me but I have been staying away from reading posts in this group as I am a worrier and whenever something that could happen gets mentioned it's all I think about. However I did a clear blue digital test a week a go and it said 1-2 weeks and I have just taken another one and it is now saying 3+ weeks! So I am taking that as a good sign as by calculations I should be 6 weeks today! My doctors appointment is booked in to confirm pregnancy on Thursday 12th and I have decided that I am going to try to stop worrying and googling and obsessing as I'm sure it's healthier for the baby when I'm not stressed constantly as well Grin

In other news my cramps have died down now, which is great because I think they are the most worrying symptom for me! I hope everyone has a happy and healthy pregnancy

jennielm · 08/12/2019 08:51

Did my first digital test this morning and got a BFP. Was actually having palpitations waiting on the result which came in about a minute and a half/2 minutes when it said it could take up to 3 minutes. Going to buy week detectors ones today as by my calculations I’m only actually 4 weeks tomorrow...so very early and with my history I need mega reassurance!! Xmas Sad trying to be positive and actually have a good feeling but soooooooooo scared to allow myself to hope. I’m 42, 43 in March, feel like I’m running out of time so really need this little one to stick.

Firstmummytobe · 08/12/2019 09:13

Jsut recurved a letter from my midwife, that says unfortunately we have had to reschedule your appointment on the 23rd of December for your booking in app Sad. However I carried on reading and it’s actually been brought forward by 5 days to the 18th December, same day as my early scan so I’ll be going straight from my midwife appointment to my scan how excitingGrin !!! Congratulations to the newbies!!!

I’m only 19 so was worried I would be pressured again by my parents however mum is more exicted than me and has started looking on the internet for peaks already 😂😂 this will be her 3rd grandchild at the age of 47 as my brother has two children but she is absolutely over the moon xxx

Em012 · 08/12/2019 10:47

Sjacey · 08/12/2019 11:40

@Em012 I’m so sorry for your loss :(

I came across a video on YouTube lastnight about a woman who found out she was pregnant and within a matter of days she had a miscarriage but she then went on to fall pregnant before her next cycle in a matter of weeks! I don’t know if this will bring you any comfort but it made me feel a little more positive if the worst was to happen so I’ve shared the link here incase you would like to watch it, I hope it will lift your spirit and give you some hope for the future, Sending you love and hugs xxx

Girlinglasses · 08/12/2019 11:56

@Em012 I'm so sorry for your loss, it's such a difficult thing to go through. Mind yourself and be kind to yourself over the next weeks and months xx
