Sorry been quiet been really busy. Had gender scan today and got stitch thursday

@Raindancer411 haha actually i had my DD in august but i knew too but it was through IVF so you can't not know! hehe

Found out this morning we are having a little girl!! I'm totally shocked as I was convinced it was a boy 😂 Just goes to show my intuition sucks 😂😂😂

I am 15+3 today and looks like I have finally turned a corner with the sickness. I haven't been sick for 12 days now and the nausea has greatly subsided. The 2nd trimester really did work out for me 😀
I now have no real symptoms, my body is unchanged, still have a waist and haven't gained any weight since I lost 5kg due to sickness. Hope the baby is doing well there. 16w appointmemt is next Friday and I really hope we get to hear heartbeat!

@Moonstone12 I had my gender scan this morning too!! I was convinced it was a girl, I was also wrong and we are having a BOY!!💙 I'm so excited tho.... everything looked really good with our little man. Congrats on your little girl. 💗

@woollycat glad you’re finally over the worst of it, what a relief! I’m now 18 weeks and it feels like forever ago that I had morning sickness, amazing how quickly you forget!

@Moonstone12 @sazzlerazzle thanks.... I am over the moon although was a little gutted thay the placenta is lying a bit to the front so might not feel him moving for a while, but at least all is healthy so cant complain too much!!

Omg girls anyone in the same boat? I am suffering from the WORsT headaches ever. I'm 16 weeks 6 days and this past week has been hell. I'm been to the doctors midwife and opticians but nothing seems to be settling. It feels right behind my eye balls. My blood pressure and urine sample are fine but I'm so worried. In my first pregnancy I had really bad anxiety about pre eclampsia (I was fine) but now it's coming back! I'm just feel super stressed about it. I'm gonna take tomorrow off work as I left early sick on my shift last week and it's not gone still and staring at a computer will not help :(

Hi everyone, just found this group! I am currently 17 weeks pregnant and due beginning of May! Cannot wait for my gender scan in a few weeks! Hope everyone is feeling ok! I have been starting to get bad pack pain and uncomfortable at night! But overall doing ok!

My bump is def growing fast. At 14 weeks I was fairly flat but come 15 BOOM! I recommend the mat jeans from ASOS. I'm tall and they do them in tall and they are so comfy! I don't feel flutters all the time, guessing that's normal? Xx

Suffering MASSIVELY with an awful cough/bad throat/cold. It's worrying sometimes as my cough is so strong and I worry it will hurt baby. Also coughing isn't great for my bad back- I've now managed to strain my whole side so not only can I not sleep properly or do anything without spluttering, I can hardly move with a bad back/aches all over 🤪😣

Think I'll try honey and lemon today.

As everyone says though as long as baby is happy/healthy in there I can put up with it!!!

@May2311 I've come in to post exactly the same. The cough I have is so bad I'm coughing until I'm retching and I've pulled muscles all down the right side of my bump. It's been 6 days now and although my temperature is back to normal the cough is getting worse. It's causing a huge headache and earache 24/7 too. I'm thinking I may have to give in and see a doctor:( I'm so worried about the baby after the coughing I had last night :( I really hurt myself. I've been in tears as I'm hardly sleeping now either :(

I've tried hot lemon, paracetamol (that helped with the temp - doesn't touch the head/ear ache) even some vicks chest rub but nothing at all is helping :(

Someone wave a magic wand and make me better please :( xx

Try a warm hot water bottle on the side of your face with the ear ache and for both your coughs, have a spoonful of honey. I kept a squeezy bottle by my bed for over night. It doesn't completely get rid of it or for long but it does help in the moment.

Anyone else get a really sore back by the end of the day making lying in bed or moving around really uncomfortable? It's right around my cocix and so painful!

@Moonstone12 oh no!! I really hope mine doesn't last 6 days- I'm only onto day 2/3😢😢😢 let me know if/what doctor says!! And fingers crossed we both feel better soon!

I’m getting lower back pain now and starting to get uncomfortable at night. The last 3 days I’ve had little muscle spasms, tickly feelings and bug bursting bubbles without touching my stomach so I think this is baby! Very exciting!! Roll on 20 week scan next Tuesday

@May2311 got an appointment for 10.40 so I will let you know. Last night was just the worst :( I thought I was doing better but oh no! Bloody bugs :( I blame my infested other children 😂

@May2311 so I have a chest infection :( left lung is all crackly :( GP is sending me to the hospital tomorrow to have the baby checked over as she's concerned because I've been feeling regular movements for weeks now (this is baby 4) and I haven't felt anything since yesterday and I've also been having braxton hicks. I'm sure all is good and the baby is just pissed off with my cough but it's good they are being cautious xx

Sorry you’re not feeling well @Moonstone12 it’s the last thing you need when pregnancy wipes you out anyway!

I don’t know whether to have a gender scan 🤦‍♀️ I’ve been reading horror stories about them getting it wrong! Ladies who have been - do they give you a % of how certain they were??
I’ve not felt any movements yet... I don’t feel pregnant at all I’ve been feeling really sad about it 😂

Well at least they are getting your all checked out- it will put your mind at ease as well! Did they give you antibiotics? Now you know you have the infection at least you can get on top of it now! Hope tomorrow goes ok- let us know how you get on. Xxx

@CharlieB93 I have just had mine on Saturday and the woman was so thorough!! Checked everything.... and she checked from 3 different views for the gender, so she said for legal reasons she couldnt say 100% but she said it was 99% a boy!! And when she showed us why she thought that it was pretty clear!!

She hasnt been wrong for a lot of years so has a really good reputation.

@Moonstone12 oh u poor thing. no wonder you felt rubbish all this time. i hope it's only upwards and onwards from now on.

i had my 16w midwife appointment all well and heard baby's heart beat 😍 beautiful noise. then booked 100 more appointments it felt!

i told my work and they are all so pleased- truthfully they asked if i was pregnant b4 i even had the chance to say it😂 my bump!

@purple29 congratulations on your little boy! thank you, i'm very much a worry wart... I think i'm going to get booked in next week for one, its strange i'm honestly not bothered what gender they are, I just want to know so I can get excited and buy an obscene amount of baby clothes!

@CharlieB93 thank you. I was the same, really wasnt fussy what it was as long as it was healthy.

The woman was amazing, showed us loads. His tummy was filled with fluid, which shows hes swallowing as he should, his bladder was full, which showed his teeny kidneys are working!! The spine all looked good, his ribs, hands feet (10 fingers and toes) heart, brain and even his eyes all looked normal and healthy!!! That made me cry hearing all that.

It's the most reassured I have felt the whole time!! So def worth it if you get someone as good as she was.

Now to go shopping too!!
