Are people celebrating tonight? I’ll be having dinner round at my parents house and then probably head home and in bed by 10am 😆 Have a fab time whatever you do, here’s to 2020!!

A new thing to worry about here - every now and again (maybe once every few days) my tummy becomes really tight and hard on touch, I feel it both internally as a dull pain, and when I touch it, it's really hard. When I massage it for a few seconds at that point, it softens. Does anyone have this or knows what this might be?

@sazzlerazzle it’s hard to forget with this app, it stalks you 😂 I figured I’d try anything to not have a leaky bladder 🙈

I’m heading out for dinner and drinks with friends. Figured it might be the last nye I can go out for a while! Hopefully I can stay up past midnight 🤣

@woolleycat- my stomach does that quite often. I think it might be when baby is further to the front as when it's like that I can feel her moving more. (This is just me guessing whether that is the case I don't know haha!)

Hey- sorry I missed your post. The scan doesn't capture a clear nub, skull looks a little like mine so if I had to guess I'd say boy but I'm really unsure on this pic!
Let me know how the guessing goes, when do you find out?

Ha ha no worries. Guesses are mostly girl so far but I’ll find out Thursday :)

I started to feel baby move sometime last week, very slight etc. But movements haven't gotten any stronger, and they're still faint and barely any of them. Should I be worrying? I'm 20 weeks tomorrow and everything else I've read or anyone else I've spoken to has felt movements earlier/stronger at this stage :( anxiety is so strong today. Sorry for a downer post.

@mummyje20 I am 20 weeks today and haven't felt much at all but still on the range of when you start to feel anything

@mummyje20 I'm the same dates as you and feel a bit the same it's really infrequent but also been really busy so likely been happening and perhaps not noticing. Scan next Wednesday so fingers crossed all will be well. X

@woollycat i get that too and spoke to the midwife she said the womb is adjusting and abdomen muscles also probably bloating every now and then all usual in pregnancy x

i had a glass of wine with dinner last night and i'm so sleepy as slept after midnight 🤪

@woollycat I got that last pregnancy and my midwife said not to worry it’s the uterus practicing stretching - sounds weird I know but last pregnancy was fine.

@mummyje20 I think a lot can depend on position of placenta etc for feeling movements and how the baby is lying. Try not to feel anxious

I’m so excited! For once, january doesn’t seem so bad! I’m finishing work on 3rd April which is only 3 months away! I managed to stay up until 3am (exhausted today) and saw in the NY with baby kicking away at the stroke of midnight ☺️

Thank you all 😊 she's been more active today, especially when I lay down.

Haven't posted for a long time, almost 23 weeks now and time seems to be going so fast.

We found out we are having another boy which is lovely (we have a 16 month old ds who will be 20 months by the time baby 2 is here)

After weeks of arguments we have also agreed on a name too so I am happy as we were struggling to find one we both liked! Has anyone else got names picked out yet?

Feeling lots of movement now which is lovely, with DS1 I had an anterior placenta so didn't feel anything till about 25 weeks and even when he was due the movements never felt strong so it's nice to feel things much earlier this time.

My boobs have also started leaking colostrum! I really struggled with breastfeeding DS1 so I am hoping to harvest it towards the end of pregnancy to take the pressure off a bit this time round.

@Lu1u nice to hear from you. congratulations on boy2. i'm dreading the scan tomorrow - i want a girl ( my DD1 has been amazing so i would like two of that😍😍) but my husband would like a boy to have one of each 🥴 ....

@Lu1u hopefully BF will be better this time. it's a tough thing to master and definitely a commitment .... i absolutely LOVED BFing and the bond ... i don't expect everyone to enjoy it.. so no stress - as long as the baby gets food and is growing it doesn't matter if from boob or bottle x hugs

@Herewego2020 just to let you know I’ve just had the whooping cough vaccine and it honestly took less than ten seconds so you’ll be absolutely fine xx

@sunshine8888 aww thank you for letting me know I have a sore throat and cough. Do you know if they will still do the jab. I been up since 5 freezing the boys yogurt tubes to eat and soothe my throat :(

@Lu1u awww congrats!!! We have the full name ready with middle for our little girl. We are going with Autumn Violet Belle. Autumn is my fave season and I've always loved the name and Violet is after OH granny. Belle is my fave disney princess and of course means beautiful so I asked if we could have that and he agreed. We argued for ages over names I wven cried at work cause of his suggestions lol.
@facevalue oh wanted another boy we have 2 already, I didn't mind but obviously a girl would've been nice and when the balloon come out pink I burst in tears.. his face though was a picture he was silent for 45 mins too lol

@herewego2020, I think you can still have it. The nurse just asked me if I had a fever or chronic illness
