Sorry been quiet been really busy. Had gender scan today and got stitch thursday

Hope everyone is doing ok alot of scans j have seen glad to see so many

Im so confused with clothing. Baby due date now moved to 30th April. Last year we had snow here in the mountains until May 18th, and June 1st was 36 degrees at our house... So I have no idea whether I am dressing for the cold or heat

@Mewstar we have the same due date :)

I’ve also started to feel the baby poking about, especially around 10pm each night I keep getting little kicks

@Reds2007 Yay! Do you know the sex of your baby yet?

I also feel baby is more active during the evenings when I am still! I tried listening to baby heart beat today with sthetoscope but couldn’t hear anything yet :)

@sao81 hope you got on ok at GP today!

20 week scan earlier and she is absolutely perfect. Everything is normal and on track❤️💕 Can't believe next time we will see her will be when she is born!! (All being well with growth going forward!) xxx

@May2311 didnt say much tbh just signed me off work again even after me saying I want to try and go back, feel like I'm getting no where 🙈

@Sunshine8888 thanks for tip re snuz we've just ordered one, along with the sheets/protector/storage thing bundle.

I also saw the elvie pump has 15% off but I'm going to wait until baby is here and buy it if I think I need it.

We're done on the big purchases now (I think) car seat, pram, cot, bouncer/rocker and monitor.. I think that's it, all came to about £600.
I found the most gorgeous outfit from Tobias and the bear, their 'fawn' and 'blush bear' prints are so adorable.. just need to convince the husband

Like @sao81 we did a christmas surprise and couldn't believe a pink balloon come out the box. Was so sure would be a boy as we have 2 already. We even planned his full name etc i brought a liverpool kit for hubby for baby as a surprise too lol. I cried like a baby when I saw I was so happy as it is a dream come true and the boys wanted a sister. My hubby was silent for 40 mins in shock... and eventually said well girls play football anyway.. I said yes course they do as I did when younger dear😂
Hope everyone is enjoying festives and just think as from next week we will be in the 2020 with babies round the corner😊

@mintbear, wow you’ve done well there! I’ve spent a small fortune today on an Uppababy vista with cybex cloud z card seat and base 🙈 also went to mothercare and got a tommy tippee feeding set for £53 and a nuna cudl carrier for £75 instead of £150! Plus a load of little things like bibs and soothers!

Yday I had nothing haha so lots of progress in two days!

@Sunshine8888 what colour uppa baby did you get? We are getting ready to buy the Vista too. We also got the Cybex but went with the Aton Q. I wanted to go with a car seat that was much lighter but the Cybex was the best in all of the safety tests which settled it for me.

@Sunshine8888 you've been busy!! I know you were waiting to get stuff later down the line and it sounds like youve got some bargains from mothercare

Theres me thinking ive made a good start on baby essentials and you are all putting me to shame🙈hahah! So many brands, so many confusing gadgets and all sorts. The pram itself is a mindfield. We got the maxi cosi adora travel system at the weekend. And we have a cozee next to me cot. Some bathing bits, some baby grows and odd bits of clothing, a bouncer, mits booties hats and thats it so far. Have no idea where to start with everything else. Its all quite over whelming when its your first pregnancy. I dont know what i do or dont need. X

Oh amazing! Is this your first? It’s my first pregnancy and I’m hoping to find out sex in the 20 week scan due mid January. I’m so excited!

@rosewater20, we went for the Jordan in the end! We got ours from babyandco.

I must admit I did feel completely overwhelmed in mothercare! I just tried to buy things I know I will need - will do more research then maybe go back!

@rosewater20, yeah the cybex seems really good. The base swivels on ours towards the door so you can load baby easily and also the car seat itself lies flat on the pram so you don’t have to move baby if they’re asleep

Hey ladies. So nice to hear everyone finding out what they are having. It’s funny isn’t it how it’s more common to find out now than not.

Sounds like by next week everyone would have had their 20wk scans. I made my first purchase today. I little pink sleep suit from jojo. We have lots of the big stuff as she’s our second so need to sort through what I have then take it from there!

@Bumpingalong84 it's our second too.. we also have most things already from our first... we might get a new bouncy chair .. how old is your other? we have the bugaboo donkey already so asked for a buggy board so that we don't have to get a second chair... it opens up so two can be side by side .. car seat and the buggy chair for my older one... will see how that works out for the first 3-4 months - summer months..

i'm still in two minds about finding out on the 2nd of jan . i might ask tho sonographer to write it on paper then put on an envelope 😳 hand it to my husband on his 40th birthday in march 😬😬😬

@facevalue my girl is 4. She’s super excited about a little sister. Very happy to know I’ll be off for her starting school as well. We need a new car seat as it got some mold damage in the garage, we still have the base for the cybex tho so won’t need to get that. We have the mini easy walker in grey. Chicco next2me and cot, high chair, all that stuff. So shouldn’t need a huge amount.

@bumpingalong84 awww mine is 2.5years girl and she got the "mummy has a baby in her tummy" book for christmas but doesn't seem to get it yet! i think she'll love the baby. sorry about your car seat- outs is in the loft so hopefully it's ok. we have the bambino next to me, sleepyhead, nappy bin, cot-bed etc .. we didn't go crazy pink before everything was neutral ( but my favourite colour is blue so i tend to have blues and greens anyway.. so if it's a boy it's ok too..

Yeah I was hugely into pink either even tho we knew we were having a girl with her. I had lots of navy as blue is also my favourite colour. Got lots of girlie dinosaur prints a ditsy prints and lots of greys. My daughter however has turned out to be the girliest girl this last year so I let her chose a babygrow today and she chose a super girly one with unicorns on it on jojo’s 😂

I know was gutted about the car seat. Silly mistake but it’ll be fine to replace. Is your daughter a summer baby? Mine is late October so I’m not sure what I’ll be able to use with it being a different season girl.
