@Sunshine8888 thanks for that, hopefully start feeling him moving soon then, I'm not at the stage of worrying as bump is getting bigger!! Just cant wait to feel him!!! Must be amazing.

Haven't been on this thread before as I thought I was expecting a June baby, but now May! Had our gender scan yesterday... it's another girl . I know it's probably wrong to have a preference but two girls was my ideal. So excited and it feels real now (we also finally told everyone!)

Is anyone else having really vivid dreams? I’ve been dreaming for ages but the last two nights have both been about me dying and it’s horrible! Feel like I’m not getting proper sleep so tired in the day. Bump getting bigger by the day, 17 weeks tomorrow. Can’t wait to start feeling movement x

20 weeks here, Still haven't really felt any proper movements yet.

17+1 today and no movements yet, and also not much of a bump either - I still look slightly bloated but that's it. I am 31 and this is my first pregnancy. I am quite happy to not have a bump for a while as obviously it's easier that way, but I need some reassurances that all is good!

@Moongirl10 I'm 16 +3. This pregnancy has absolutely flown in for me so far (although I'm still on mat leave and going back at the end of the month so that's probably why!)

Can't believe it's only another 5 months to go

@May2311 your abdominal muscles attach to your ribs so as your bump grows it pulls on the ribs and it aches x i feel my belly is so tight and i'm already doing a little wobbly walk i caught myself today 😳

Anyone about that can advise me? Just been to the loo and when I wiped my discharge was a very faint pink colour? I'm 17 weeks today and so far had no bleeds or cramping (touch wood) is this spotting? Do you think it's an infection? PANIC SETS IN 😭 probably nothing to worry about but I'm worrying about it 😆

@Clairesoph hey I had this a few weeks ago, I rang my midwife and she said it could be a small part of the mucus plug (but It regenerates so to not worry). A lot of people say if it’s pink, not to worry if it was bright red then to call the midwife x have you had a cervical exam or sex recently? The cervix is really sensitive so may have irritated it x

@Reds2007 ah thank you so much! Just very tiny hint of pink and we did the deed last night so could defo be that. We are off out for a Christmas do but I'm taking my notes just in case. Thanks again xxx

@Reds2007 I had bright red spotting after sex, it’s just from the cervix as it becomes more easily irritated and all the extra blood flow. Baby was fine at the scan and kicking away every day so I wasn’t worried x

So my 25w appointment is with the GP rather than the midwife. Is this the case for everyone? What does the GP do?

@woollycat yeah that's normal. gp does the same. blood pressure urine dip and ask if u ok.

second baby- see u much less. and depends on ur area funds and protocol

So we booked a last minute private gender scan & well-being check today. I was worrying and didn't want to be fretting loads over Christmas so wanted to know all seemed to be going well and there was a deal on so we decided to book it!

Anyways.... we are having a little girl!!! ❤️💕❤️💕❤️ we wouldn't have been bothered either way but absolutely thrilled( particularly because we were struggling with boy names!)

So we are all going to my sisters for Christmas Day- I'm sorting the crackers- our plan is to get pink hats to pop in and see who guesses first 🙊💕

Hi everyone.

Im 19 weeks today. Ive had some really light brown spotting on friday when i wipe, and again some tiny light brown specs when i wipe again today. Only occasionally. No cramps/twinges of any kind. Is this something i need to worry about it just keep an eye on for now?

Also, anyone suffered thrush? I feel a tiny bit itchy occasionally, wondering is this is linked? Thanks xo

@Niki93 I think I have thrush, pharmacist wont give me anything so have to wait to speak to the midwife tomorrow!! Awful!!

I previously had some slight pink spotting, no cramps either. Sure it will be fine. Just if you start seeing red blood or clots I'd be getting on the phone!!
