Anyone due July 2020

Hi all,

Anyone due July 2020? Sorry if I've missed a thread, done a quick search and couldn't find one...

DH and I were due to start TTC for #2 in the new year, but haven't been actively not-trying. Well something was just niggling at me over the weekend, I just 'had a feeling' if that makes sense... did an FRER yesterday and there it was! that second pink line...

I'm equal parts excited and batshit scared haha. I've not told DH yet, it's his birthday on Tuesday so going to break it to him then.

Congrats to everyone who has joined! Has anyone else got their midwife booking appointment? Spoke to my surgery who have booked me in for next week, I’ll be 6+1 then. It seems early as it says usually 8-10 weeks. Not that I’m complaining I can’t wait to see someone and it all start feeling real! X

Questionsanswers · 18/11/2019 21:22

I am 7+3 and have just started bleeding. Not much pain just a little, but I’m so scared I’m loosing it. Have a scan booked for Thursday morning. 😢

dragonmummy17 · 18/11/2019 21:34

@Questionsanswers hope the bleeding settles. I've had it both ways so although it can be bad news it isn't always

I had my booking appointment booked for next week only today it got cancelled and rebooked without checking with me for a time I can't do. So I phoned up the surgery and there's nothing else until 23rd December by which time I'd be 12 weeks and they don't book the scan until the booking appointment. I have the midwife hub number and have to call tomorrow to see if I can be squeezed in somewhere else...

Austin2017 · 18/11/2019 21:50

My scan isn't until 30th December 😣 got in early for midwife though as only 6 weeks now. Think we might just tell family over xmas fingers crossed of all ok xx

Dafs123 · 19/11/2019 07:14

@Questionsanswers keeping everything crossed for you. I know lots of people who have bled and have been absolutely fine xx

Dafs123 · 19/11/2019 07:16

@Mummy2020 I have mine next Tuesday I'll be 7 weeks which I also thought was early 🤷🏻‍♀️x

Questionsanswers · 19/11/2019 07:37

Bleeding has got very heavy and painful over night so I’m guessing it will all be over soon. Never had a miscarriage before so not sure what to expect.

Kiki275 · 19/11/2019 10:01

Booked my booking in appointment for Mon 16th. Seems ages away. Just got to ask to work from home without arising suspicion x

Kiki275 · 19/11/2019 10:02

@Questionsanswers I'm so sorry to hear this. Get checked if you can. I've no advice but massive hugs x

LisaxMarie · 19/11/2019 10:16

Very sorry to hear what you are going through @Questionsanswers. Such a worrying time that unfortunately nothing anyone says will ease your worry. Here if you need a chat and sending hugs xx

RedRobin7 · 19/11/2019 10:18

Rainbow2020 · 19/11/2019 10:18

farmmumtomillie · 19/11/2019 10:48

All was fine until i had breakfast, now i feel awful 🤢

Mummy2020 · 19/11/2019 11:14

@Questionsanswers I’m so sorry. I hope you can get checked soon xx

Mummy2020 · 19/11/2019 11:15

@Dafs123 it does seem early doesn’t it. Hoping it mean that the scan will be booked a smidge earlier then as it says dating scan can be 8-14 weeks. Will be 10 weeks on Boxing Day so wanted to tell family Xmas day x

Bettybird · 19/11/2019 11:57

Hi Everyone,

I’ve been lurking and just brave enough to join! I’m due mid- July 2020, this is my second pregnancy after a miscarriage in September. The anxiety is absolutely horrendous, I’m not having any symptoms apart from bad wind and acne which is worrying as with the miscarriage I had sore breasts and just felt more pregnant! Currently terrified every time I go to the loo in case I’m bleeding. I’m 5+5 today. How does everyone cope with the anxiety in these early weeks? We are going to book a scan next week at 7 weeks, hopefully to see something!

dragonmummy17 · 19/11/2019 12:18

@Questionsanswers sorry to hear that. Definitely call your GP if you want further support. Here to listen and support too

Kiki275 · 19/11/2019 12:20

@Bettybird totally understandable. If it helps I don't feel pregnant yet. Didn't have sickness with DS and not had any yet now. Lots of bloating though. I said to DH all along that I reckoned it was a boy, as only his fathers son could cause this much gas x

keepinghopeful · 19/11/2019 12:24

@Questionsanswers sorry to hear this, take good care of yourself, Ive been through it before and its horrible 😔. @Bettybird, Im 5+5 as well and very little symptoms so like you & sometimes I forget I am pregnant!! I wish I was having full on nausea, ive had mmc in past and in it my nausea wasnt bad so Im thinking this could go same way. With my little girl a year ago, I had bad nausea ... who knows!! I will book an early scan too, just dont know for when maybe when Im between 7-8 weeks. How is everyone elses symptoms who are around our stage?

Dafs123 · 19/11/2019 12:30

@Mummy2020 yes that's what I'm hoping! I'm 11 weeks Xmas eve so we're planning on getting a private scan the day before due we can tell people xx

Bettybird · 19/11/2019 12:33

Thanks @Kiki275, it’s so good to talk to other people in the same boat! And @keepinghopeful I’ve been told by my GP that every pregnancy is different even with the same person, so you can’t really compare even personal pregnancies - but it hasn’t eased my mind! I keep convincing myself that my hormones can’t possibly be high enough if I’m not throwing up and can touch my boobs without wincing! I did one of those weeks indicators at 5+2 which said 2-3 weeks which I think has only fed my anxiety - with my miscarriage At that stage they went down to 1-2 which was first clue it wasn’t viable but this one hasn’t gone down and lines are still dark - but crazily I want that 3+! Know I’m kidding myself that it will stop me worrying - I think we are destined to worry for the next 18+ years 🙄 I referred to the midwife last week I’m hoping to have the booking appointment sooner rather than later to bounce these fears off a midwife! Has everyone got their appointments, and how many weeks/days will you be?

LisaxMarie · 19/11/2019 12:43

Hi all, I’m 5+4 today and it was at this stage in my last pregnancy that I started bleeding due to ectopic. Got my 6 week scan on Friday to make sure baby is in the right place this time. My symptoms seem to change daily, ranging between sore boobs, acne, slight dizziness and wind. Sore boobs seem to come and go

Questionsanswers · 19/11/2019 13:10

I have a scan booked for Thursday morning as that was the earliest they could get me in. Thanks for the kind words everyone. X

Rainbow2020 · 19/11/2019 13:16

@Bettybird the fears will never go away.. we just need to deal with them better.. not a day goes by where I worry but we just need to take each day as it comes.. and think of the good times to come.. xx

RedRobin7 · 19/11/2019 13:27

@Bettybird welcome! I booked this week off work to relax and binge watch tv but instead I'm really anxious and worrying about the colour of my CM. Not sure if it was just very dark yellow or light brown (Sorry TMI!) just very scared as also not really feeling pregnant other than sore boobs and bloating. 7 weeks tomorrow and wish I had more symptoms. I feel so pleased every night I get into bed and know I've made it through another day! So hard being anxious all the time.

A lady wrote on another thread that anxiety is a waste of time and doesn't change things. Well aware of that but can't switch of the anxiety just like that!!
