Anyone due July 2020

Hi all,

Anyone due July 2020? Sorry if I've missed a thread, done a quick search and couldn't find one...

DH and I were due to start TTC for #2 in the new year, but haven't been actively not-trying. Well something was just niggling at me over the weekend, I just 'had a feeling' if that makes sense... did an FRER yesterday and there it was! that second pink line...

I'm equal parts excited and batshit scared haha. I've not told DH yet, it's his birthday on Tuesday so going to break it to him then.

So very sorry to hear that @Louu99. Are you sure it is AF? X

Louu99 · 17/11/2019 10:35

I've had spotting on and off only when I wipe, which yesterday got increasingly more and a brighter shade of pink/red (still only when I wipe) and this morning there's some spots on a pantyliner but when I wiped it's bright red and almost filled the tissue. So I'm pretty sure it's not good news 🙁 x

edinbaby · 17/11/2019 10:47

@Louu99 so sorry to hear that. Hope you’re okay! Sending my love.

Dafs123 · 17/11/2019 10:50

@Wayekalb 14th is also DS birthday 😳😂 I'm not too bad feeling waves of nausea and tired 24/7. Had a stitch like pain low down on my left side. Very mild but feel a bit worried. How are you feeling? Will you have an early scan ? X

edinbaby · 17/11/2019 10:57

@Dafs123 I had sharpish pain to one side but it was short lived and hasn’t come back. Of course I was googling that symptom 🙄 only to worry if you have bleeding/spotting or doesn’t go away/gets worse.

I’ve only had waves of nausea but it’s been really mild and passes quickly. My breasts are still slightly tender and I am feeling more tired. Starting to get a bit worried I should be feeling more “pregnant”. I’m currently 6+4. So difficult to know if that’s all normal?

Kiki275 · 17/11/2019 11:10

@Louu99 I hope it's incidental, keeping fingers crossed for you x

morningcuppatea · 17/11/2019 11:13

@Louu99 I'm so sorry to hear that, I'm also going through similar so expecting to check out from this group soon unfortunately.

Currently feeling very sorry for myself and unsure wether to wait it out and see GP tomorrow or to call 111/go to a&e.

Bibinka · 17/11/2019 11:16

@Louu99 sending hugs your way x
@edinbaby I'm not really experiencing symptoms much either at 6 weeks. Initially cramps were bad and had a drop of blood, sore boobs and wind. Now it's the occasional twinge only and just feeling grumpy. Does craving burgers count as a symptom? GrinI took one of those pregnancy week tests two days ago because I was worried and got a 3+ so I guess I'm still okay..

Dafs123 · 17/11/2019 11:18

Thanks @edinbaby reassuring that someone has had same. Iv been the same google is the devil 😭😭 going to try forget about it unless gets worse. I'm 5+5 and similar to you symptom wide: I didn't have much sickness with my first though so everyone is just different xx

elisaj86 · 17/11/2019 11:19

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me joining. I’m currently 5+6, think I’m due 13th July. Very excited but also so nervous. All happened a bit quickly. I’ve only just started a new job, but we found out my partner has testicular cancer and treatment likely to affect fertility so we had about a week window before his op when I was fertile and thought we’d go for it! Feel so so lucky that we got pregnant so easily and just praying it all works out!

Feeling pretty nauseous on and off all day and very tired! Also had a sore throat the last couple of days, feels sort of like a cold but a bit different Hmm

Congrats everyone!

edinbaby · 17/11/2019 11:34

@Dafs123 I work for the NHS and still google things! Think everyone does, really hard not to! But I’m the same only going to worry if it gets worse.

@Bibinka you sound exactly like me! When I first found out I had cramps, back pain, sore boobs and feeling a little sick. Now only nausea very rarely and sore boobs! I get the occasional twinge. I’m so paranoid about symptoms! I’m sure it’a not healthy but it’s our first and I feel totally lost 😂

I have my private scan in a week so fingers crossed everything is okay!

Kiki275 · 17/11/2019 11:43

@elisaj86 what wonderful news. Hope DP is okay and his surgery goes/went well x

RedRobin7 · 17/11/2019 12:08

@Louu99 So sorry lovely xx

@edinbaby Same here 6+4 today and feeling fairly normal. Boobs are tender and have been since before my BFP. Possibly more tired than usual but hard to know as I've been working more. I've taken a week off work to relax but I think I will actually drive myself mad because I'll have time to overthink!

RedRobin7 · 17/11/2019 12:10

@AutumnDazed Lovely of you to be on here for your wife! Her anxiety is completely normal and we are all here to hold her hand (and yours!) along the way.

I've been on and off MN since Jan 18 and I love having a supportive network! 😊

edinbaby · 17/11/2019 12:13

@RedRobin7 that’s really reassuring! We have the same due date as I’m 6+4 today as well 😍 are you having an early scan?

Gembok · 17/11/2019 12:38

We did a test yesterday, but I already knew it in my body! Due 19 July. Mostly worried about how I'm going to keep it quiet over Christmas....and fearful of the possible nausea in the next few weeks. Flip flopping between excitement, calmness and fear!

Wayekalb · 17/11/2019 13:12

@Dafs123 wow busy time for you! Wasn't going to have an early scan as don't know much about them. Are you having one

GingerRH · 17/11/2019 13:13

@Gembok congratulations! You're due the day after me!! X

RedRobin7 · 17/11/2019 13:15

@edinbaby I had an early scan on Wednesday at 6 weeks. I have a private consultant following two miscarriages so although I lost my funding through work, we decided to pay for these scans. Everything looked good and baby is measuring on track but I'm still so anxious. It's crazy a scan only reassures us for a day or two! I'll also have an 8 week scan on 27th. How about you?

@Gembok are you telling anyone before Xmas? We've told our parents and siblings as they've been on this journey with us since my first pregnancy last year. I'm so glad they know and I don't have to keep secrets but I understand some people prefer not to tell anyone yet. When I told my sister she said she was pregnant too!

Dafs123 · 17/11/2019 15:23

@elisaj86 aw that's wonderful red and probably just what you need right now ☺️ little miracle obviously meant to be x

Dafs123 · 17/11/2019 15:25

@Wayekalb Iv had good and bad experiences with early scans . Had a mmc in July which was confirmed by an early scan. End of the day I'd rather know than get much further along and get bad news. That's just me though xx

Tonirubygareth · 17/11/2019 16:14

Hi everyone I’m due 10th July also this is my second pregnancy I have a 11 year old daughter so this was a Shock but a good one. I’m very anxious as I will be 42 next month and there is so much negative stuff out there about being pregnant when older 🤦🏽‍♀️ Especially around miscarriage. 😒

edinbaby · 17/11/2019 16:20

@RedRobin7 aw I see! I have a scan on the 24th this month - I’ll be over 7 weeks. Just praying everything is okay. I’ll be the same, reassured for a few days and the anxiety will come back

Wayekalb · 17/11/2019 16:33

@Dafs123 I didn't have one with my first. Do you just go through one of those clinics? The ones that offer early scans?

Goldington · 17/11/2019 17:40

@edinbaby @RedRobin7 I’m 6+4 today too and exactly the same! Boobs slightly tender and tired but apart from that feel better than I did and relatively. I do have waves of nausea but they don’t last very long - usually in the morning or the middle of the night! I am struggling with bloating and painful gas too though, last night I had a stitch like pain in my side for about an hour but that subsided after a peppermint tea got things moving. I’m panicking now I feel too good and such a long time to wait for a scan. I have thyroid problems and am seeing a specialist tomorrow so I might try and wangle an early scan through them!
