Aw Angechica - it will pass!
To help me stop thinking it will take ages before the birth, i've been thinking in terms of what i have to do before i pop it out and that i only have 3 1/2 months of life left, for me as a childless so far person, of my old life. So although i do feel really prepared for the birth and arrival of a little un, i'm just taking stock of this time, am now forcing myself to have lie-ins on Sunday which i almost never do as i like to be up and about doing stuff!
But, I am bored though!!! I've been waiting to have a baby for about 5 years, so this last bit of actually growing one is almost like the final thought.
I CANNOT WAIT TO NOT HAVE TO SEE MY BOSS EVERYDAY. In fact, when on maternity i'm going to look about for other jobs. I'm still in process of retraining at college and will change profession in a few years, so don't have to stay here for career development. He came in today moaning that his weekend was all about cleaning, food shopping, doing the washing, walking the dog etc. ERRR HELLO?? What does the think everyone else is doing?!
I'd like to share a health tip with you all, one of i've been doing a number of years, but for preggy ladies, really useful i'd expect. all it is: i eat Arame seaweed and put it on top of salads, chuck it in stews/soups/pasta dishes. It's not fishy at all, altho you know it does taste a bit of the sea, but these are it's health benefits:
------
?All of the minerals required by human beings, including calcium, sodium, magnesium, potassium, iodine, iron, and zinc are present in sufficient amounts. In addition, there are many trace elements in seaweeds.? Edible plants from the sea also contain important vitamins including vitamin A (in the form of beta-carotene), B1, B2, B6, niacin, vitamin C, pantothenic acid, and folic acid. Analysis has shown trace amounts of vitamin B12, which rarely occurs in land vegetables.
Sea vegetables classified as brown algae, including arame, hijiki, kombu and wakame, have been shown to cleanse the body of toxic pollutants. Specifically, scientific research has demonstrated that these plants, which are abundant in alginic acid, bind with any heavy metals in the intestines, render them indigestible, and cause them to be eliminated from the body.
Seaweed feeds the shafts and the ducts of the scalp to help improve the health of the hair. It has been said that the thick, black, lustrous hair of the Japanese is partly due to their regular diet of brown sea vegetables such as arame. Research has shown that minerals are important to healthy hair growth, and arame has a high mineral content.
Other health benefits, according to Carlson Wade?s book Health Secrets from the Orient, include regulating the hormones, enriching the bloodstream, assisting in metabolism, promoting a youthful skin color, and helping to warm the body to promote mental youthfulness.

Sorry for such a long post, but it's a genius food source that seems to be particuarly good for us women. And it's almost flavourless so doesn't interrupt any other food flavours you've got going on. Arame is ok to eat when preg, but some seaweeds aren't tho, so check out first!
