Hi everyone! I can't find a May 2020 group yet. Most of you don't even know you're expecting yet. I'm due May 1st and got my bfp on 9 dpo. So I'm only 3 weeks 3 days. I feel like I may be lonely in here for a little while.
Looking forward to being joined by other mummies to be :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was 7 years ago and I have a 7 year old son. 2nd was 5 years ago which ended in a m/c feeling positive for my rainbow.

@november90 I'm not sure about whether you can bleach or not but you could wax it or have it threaded?

Got my 3+ confirmation this morning 😁 so gonna tell the parents today and tomorrow!

Nausea is unreal in the mornings, feeling so hungry yet struggling to eat 🥴

The neon will be your vitamins

Allyism · 19/09/2019 09:01

Only way I can keep the nausea away is by eating a little bit almost constantly and it’s all day. You’re not meant to put much weight on first trimester but I’m going to fail at that!

Sunshine8888 · 19/09/2019 09:14

@allyism ahh ok!! Thanks 👍🏻

Moonstone12 · 19/09/2019 09:28

@Caspianberg I have constant nausea. The only time I don't have it is when I'm actually asleep. I'm on phenergan 4 times a day for sickness which luckily make me so so drowsy. I've literally not been out of bed for two weeks now. And I haven't brushed my hair since Sunday :( I can hardly sit up let alone stomach food and drink :(

I wish I Cohen advise something that works but I have tried everything and I'm still suffering :(

Caspianberg · 19/09/2019 09:42

@Moonstone12 - thanks, I feel sick even when asleep im sure, and then it wakes me up and im laying there trying not to move so I don't hurl! Lovely. Ice lollies do seem to help me, so maybe you could try? just pure juice ones I have tried.

flossy12 · 19/09/2019 09:52

@Coastaldreamer I knew it I knew it!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 eeekkksooohappy fortou hun💞

May2311 · 19/09/2019 10:09

@Caspianberg my nausea wakes me from about 2-3am each morning! I think "morning sickness" should just be caller "pregnancy sickness" - it's very misleading otherwise!!

I know this is totally random but what are people having for lunch at work? I usually have a tuna pasta salad or chicken salad but cannot stomach these at the moment. I need something simple but can't think of what 😂🙄

Skiaddicted · 19/09/2019 10:10

I cant believe how pregnant i look already, i think my stomach has accepted its fate! Told a few friends and no one was surprised and said they could see it 🙈

KittenMittens1 · 19/09/2019 10:52

Hi all,

I'll probally be on here a little less, joined the new facebook group makes its so much easier. if anyone needs the link let me know.

has anyone got cravings yet? its not even 11 in the morning and I have a crazy craving for Chinese Crispy Wontons. Grin

Hiphopopotamus · 19/09/2019 12:01

Can someone point me in the direction of the Facebook group? I know we’ve gone back and forth on this but if I join it, will people on my Facebook be able to see that I’m pregnant?

BlueberryPoppy123 · 19/09/2019 12:23

@caspianberg yes I also have all day nausea. I feel like if I move I'm on ship with awful waves coming in at every side. It's making me miserable and I hate being that pregnant person. I just keep crying because I feel like there's no end in sight. Don't see the midwife for another 2 weeks and so I'm just enduring it and it's awful

Thank you!

Caspianberg · 19/09/2019 15:30

@BlueberryPoppy123 - thats exactly it. I feel like a cross between being permanently hungover, jetlagged and seasick all at once. For the last 3 ish weeks.

Coastaldreamer · 19/09/2019 15:49

Bit of a TMI one but are you guys dtd atm in the early stages??

I'm too scared 🙈

BlueberryPoppy123 · 19/09/2019 16:14

@Caspianberg I got sent home from work today as I my works very physical I'm constantly on the move and I went grey got all dizzy and my supervisor came in and said come here you're not ok are you... I burst into tears... She gave me a hug and took me to my mum (she work in the same hospital but different dept) and said she was sorting me cover for tomorrow and to go home and rest. That made me even more sad as I don't have sick days. I hate that I've had to have my first in ages. It's so hard as my other half is in the military and is away atm. I just need him to help me life right now...
And also @coastaldreamer I need him so we can dtd. We have a very active sex life and while he's here being pregnant hasn't stopped us and I'm hoping it doesn't either.

@Coastaldreamer we have Grin If you feel up to it, there's no reason not to (unless a doctor tells you otherwise!) Smile

Coastaldreamer · 19/09/2019 16:46

Thanks ladies. Been feeling like I want to and DH also has been dropping hints 🙈 feel mean as when I needed to for conceiving I would be so ready 😂

Think it's because we haven't seen the midwife yet so feeling nervy

@BlueberryPoppy123 sorry to hear you're feeling so rubbish! :( I hope you feel better soon and the first trimester is kinder to you!

X

TwinklyTwinkle · 19/09/2019 17:10

@Coastaldreamer glad you asked about DTD cos I've been wondering the same thing Grin I'm too scared too! Feel like it's still early days and don't want to risk anything getting knocked or something (as ridiculous as that seems!) Blush

Cleozeta · 19/09/2019 17:12

My TCM dr advised me not to dtd in the early stages, might just be due to the 2 mc's I had last year though

Sunshine8888 · 19/09/2019 17:14

I have not been DTD as in my case it’s likely to cause bleeding which i would just find terrifying!

TwinklyTwinkle · 19/09/2019 17:14

How many of you have told someone you're expecting? I kinda want to tell my mum and dad but their network is huge (loads of family, friends etc) and they will be beyond excited as it's their first grandchild! I trust them fully not to say anything but I know it will be hard for them so deciding to keep it to ourselves until hopefully after the 12 week scan just to not put them in a tricky position!

Sunshine8888 · 19/09/2019 17:17

@twinklytwinkle I have told both sets of parents and my best friend. It’s a lonely time and I need the support. Everyone is really excited because it will be the first baby in either family for 28+ years! But we are all also aware of the risks etc so trying not to get too attached to the idea yet!
