Hi everyone! I can't find a May 2020 group yet. Most of you don't even know you're expecting yet. I'm due May 1st and got my bfp on 9 dpo. So I'm only 3 weeks 3 days. I feel like I may be lonely in here for a little while.
Looking forward to being joined by other mummies to be :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was 7 years ago and I have a 7 year old son. 2nd was 5 years ago which ended in a m/c feeling positive for my rainbow.

@november90 hey hun! Yeah they've said 26th for me! I'll be bloody 11 weeks by then 🙄🙄 piss take, Ive booked an early scan private anyway x

@flossy12 is that for your 10 week appointment?

I've just done the self referral today and then gonna book the early scan for week 8. What week will you be on when you have your private scan?x

Hi ladies! I had my early scan yesterday morning and all is well. I thought i was about 7 weeks but they have moved it back a few days. Was so lovely to see the wee blobs heartbeat ❤️ I just want to tell everyone but I'll just leave it to in here.

@Coastaldreamer will be around 7+2 according to LMP but I have long cycles of 32 days so think I'll be slightly less ☺️ that's t just the initial booking in appointment 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you KittensMittens1 I was really worried this morning. Of course, theres no telling what will happen but at least the signs are ok for now

I'm 5+2 taken two bloody clearblue digis with the week predictors. I should be getting the 3+ now shouldn't I? I'm getting 2-3. Which i got last monday when i just turned 4weeks.
I've literally no symptoms and with the week predictor not going up I'm getting bit worried.

Joining tentatively got BFP on Saturday but had a MC in July so doesn't feel that exciting yet but midwife called back today and have booking appointment on 4th October so only at about 7 weeks which seems early but I'm happy because it's making it into little milestones to look forward to! X

Please read the leaflet and don't worry. Clear blue digital predict the date you actually conceived. Whereas you will be counting from the first day of your period which will be about 2 weeks before for people with a 28 day cycle. So basically add 2 weeks on to the clear blue test....

Hey @TtcanotherG I don’t think the clear blue are that reliable for dates as there are so many variables e.g how much you’v had to drink, last time you did a wee, if it’s hot so you’ve been sweating more... try not to panic maybe leave it another week and try again. Really tough though, the first trimester drags so much as the risk is high and you have nothing to reassure you.

Hi all, just popping by to update. My scan was inconclusive so I've had some blood tests taken and an internal examination 🥴 and have to go back on Thursday for more blood tests as they are concerned I'm having an ectopic. A pretty horrible afternoon all in all. Thanks for all your support ladies 🙏 you've been amazing.
I'll be thinking of you all next May and cheering you on! 🙌✨💫

Omg anyone else got a stupidly stuffed nose! With my little boy I had pregnancy rhinitis so badly, and it's returned! I can't bare to have a stuffed nose! I thought it may be a cold but I'm not snotty... just stuffed 😩😩😩 it's so annoying! I just needed to rant about it 🙈

@rosina38 I conceived 3 weeks ago on monday roughly so thought it should give me by 3+ as I'm 5+2 today. . Il give it few days test again . Hateful first trimester

@Huffthepuff so sorry for my post after yours, I didn't see it before I started typing otherwise I would never have put such a trivial thing! Do you mind me asking what inconclusive means? Were they able to see anything? I'm so sorry you're going through this and I really hope you're ok xxx

Inconclusive in this situation meant that she couldn't find a baby but that I'd had a positive test. The options therefore are miscarriage, ectopic (she could see a tiny mark on my ovary but i display no other symptoms that would suggest that) or a pregnancy that's too early to see yet. By doing blood tests then repeats on Thursday they can judge which of those is the outcome. However when I saw a doctor for an internal examination 3 hours later 🥴 and after they had my blood tests back they seemed only to be looking for an ectopic. I don't think she really had any doubt about the fact that I'm not pregnant as I have no symptoms and don't feel pregnant. I think she just couldn't 100% rule it out. The blood test results seem to have ruled it out though. Sorry, all thoroughly depressing! Have a lovely evening and thank you so much for all your kind words. Welcome and congratulations to everyone who has recently joined. I've been reading but not posting much as a few busy days. My nausea was so bad and constant, I've had to stop my iron tablets. Feeling a little better and off to my 1st midwife booking in appointment later, I'm 7+4 today. 1st trimester feels so slow, but very grateful.

I’ve been very lucky with the sickness! I was a bit worried about not suffering much but the midwife didn’t seem concerned. I do really want to get a private scan booked though for reassurance but I’m waiting for my 12 week scan date to come though first so I can decide when’s best!

The thought of salad/veg is making me feel pretty queasy today! I just wanted to eat the new mnm chocolate bars and cheese and beans jacket potatoes 🙈 surely it's too early for this and I'm just being greedy!

ah I'm trying to eat healthily but struggling so much, with my tiredness i'm just eating whatever I want!

need to prep some meals in advance as i'm just going for the easy options at the moment.
