Hi everyone! I can't find a May 2020 group yet. Most of you don't even know you're expecting yet. I'm due May 1st and got my bfp on 9 dpo. So I'm only 3 weeks 3 days. I feel like I may be lonely in here for a little while.
Looking forward to being joined by other mummies to be :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was 7 years ago and I have a 7 year old son. 2nd was 5 years ago which ended in a m/c feeling positive for my rainbow.

@Huffthepuff oh bless you, I will keep everything crossed for you! How far along do you think you are? Most people don't experience any symptoms until at least 6 weeks and some don't get many at all so you never know xx

7 weeks. I think I got symptoms quite late last time but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. Hate that I have to wait till tomorrow to find out.

@Huffthepuff it must be so difficult for you! Sometimes private clinics can book you in as an emergency if you wanted to try and be seen tonight if you feel you can't wait. I know it's rubbish you'd have to pay though. Has the bleeding and pains passed at all?

Still bleeding but not heavily. Cramps feel like the first day of a period. So quite uncomfortable rather than painful IYKWIM

So far about twice a week a get what looks like the beginning of a period, light bleeding. Midwife assured me everything is fine and some women genuinely bleed throughout pregnancy. I was put on a sex ban from hubby until dr thinks everything will calm down.

but it's terrifying, I know. I went to the EPU 4 days after thinking I MC due to the waiting list, went to find out I was carrying 2 healthy twins. Even though i would of put a bet that i'd lost baby on I came out in shock!

You won't know until tomorrow, the best thing I did for 4 days was keep my mind busy, nothing you can do or think of will change the situation, Remain as calm as possible and i'm sure you'll be fine.

Things are getting worse unfortunately. Have had to take some painkillers as the cramping is so bad. Have had a nap this afternoon which was nice. Now I think I have to let nature take its course.
Need to go through with the scan as we're meant to be going on holiday on Wednesday and I'll need medical documentation to get our money back for flights/hotel. Will probably keep some of my annual leave booked and have a few days at home to recover.
Just feel very sad 😞

Thank you so much, everyone. You've all been so kind today. I'm taking it easy and letting it all process. I think mostly I'm panicking about my age as I'm 39 and so desperate to have a sibling for my ds. But I've still got time so just need to relax and see what happens. I hope you're all feeling as well as can be expected and have relaxing evenings. Lots of love to you all xx

I'm going to tentatively join you all if that's alright. Had my first faint positive last Tuesday, tests have been getting stronger from there. I think I'm in the 4th week somewhere. Had a transvaginal ultrasound on Friday which found nothing, which is fine if I am 4 weeks. I missed my last couple of periods (PCOS) and I have a history of ectopic so they wanted to check. Had bloods drawn on Friday and Sunday and was supposed to hear today but didnt get a call. I called them at 10 past 4 but they had already shut. Nervously waiting to call in the morning.
