Hi everyone! I can't find a May 2020 group yet. Most of you don't even know you're expecting yet. I'm due May 1st and got my bfp on 9 dpo. So I'm only 3 weeks 3 days. I feel like I may be lonely in here for a little while.
Looking forward to being joined by other mummies to be :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was 7 years ago and I have a 7 year old son. 2nd was 5 years ago which ended in a m/c feeling positive for my rainbow.

Thanks @Countrysidegirls x

Welcome and congrats on your bfp @May2311 Smile

Moonstone12 · 05/09/2019 18:53

Hey girls. I've been feeling nauseous and dizzy today :( I checked my blood pressure and it's a little on the low side (my other half has very high blood pressure so we have a machine at home to keep an eye on him) I think this is a sign my hyperemisis is on the way :(
I got my anti sickness pills here and ready so think I will start taking them tomorrow.

I did speak to my midwife earlier though. And my booking in appointment is on the 23rd :)

I also spent time in a&e with my eldest today (15 yr old). she managed to break her finger playing netball 😂😂😂 Dangerous sport netball 😂😂😂

Moonstone12 · 05/09/2019 18:54

@AmIseeingRight the spreadsheet is brilliant. Thank you. I'll update my bits soon :)

Hope everyone else is doing ok today :) x

Pindlesandneedles · 05/09/2019 19:23

Hi everyone, sorry the nausea is really kicking in for some of you. Thanks for the spreadsheet @AmIseeingRight although makes me think I really should book in with the midwife. Still not feeling 100% real despite feeling pretty awful with more than a hint of nausea!!

Victoria315 · 05/09/2019 20:46

Hi everyone. I’m 5 weeks pregnant today but a clear blue test I just did still said 2-3 weeks. How far along were those of you who got a 3+ test result?

Missmissy123 · 05/09/2019 21:06

Hey congratulations on your pregnancy I’m also currently 5wks pregnant this is my 3rd pregnancy 1st was 5 years ago and my 2nd ended up m/c at 20 weeks last year , so I am bit anxious but feeling positive for my rainbow looking forward to be joining other mummies to be

mininionsteve · 06/09/2019 07:07

Hi guys,

I'm freaking out a bit this morning. Had a massive stitch/cramp in my c-section scar last night. It was like it completely pulled taught. 5+4 so it not like the dr will do anything. Anyone else with a previous section get anything like this. I'm struggling to remain positive!

Pindlesandneedles · 06/09/2019 07:24

Morning @mininionsteve that sounds horrible for you. I’m sure it’s nothing but I would probably try and get a GP appointment today just to be sure. How are you feeling now? I think sometimes baby can implant into the scar inside so they might want to do an early scan to check everything is in the right place? Hope you’re feeling better this morning and that it’s just baby growing and making itself known xx

FirstTimeMama91 · 06/09/2019 07:34

Congratulations @Victoria315 I'm 5+2 and also got 2-3 weeks when I tested 2 days ago. Hoping next week it'll show 4+ but some ladies have said they never seen 3+ til way later in the pregnancy but went on to have healthy babies.

@mininionsteve I've no section scar but a huge cramp woke me at 4.30am two nights ago. It was just once, was strange. I think there's just so much happening inside with our little beans. Phone your gp if it will reassure you x

mininionsteve · 06/09/2019 07:36

Thanks @Pindlesandneedles I'm not in any pain now there's a slight ache and I've convinced myself that my boobs don't hurt as much anymore. Had a miscarriage in May and this happened during that pregnancy too. Only take one similarity to send your mind off the rails doesn't it!

I'll see if I can get in at the docs.

mininionsteve · 06/09/2019 08:38

I'm just waiting for a call back from the dr. Hopefully they'll call me in for a blood test.

Huffthepuff · 06/09/2019 09:12

@mininionsteve sorry to hear this. I hope the doctor calls soon. Hopefully just cramping and the pressure of everything moving itself around. I've got a section scar too and they seem to ache at odd times.

I'm a nervous wreck. If I've got cramps I'm convinced something has gone wrong. If I feel well I am positive I'm no longer pregnant. This bit is just so scary

KittenMittens1 · 06/09/2019 09:26

Can I Join!

I'm Currently 7 weeks! I think I'm due 30th April / 1st of May won't find out until 12 Week Scan to be definite haha.

I took a clear blue digital on monday found out It said 3+ then got in the drs for the same day and was told i'm 6/7 weeks. Put all may dates on a pregnancy app and its coming up with 30th April.

we'd been trying for just under a year, gave up at the beginning of July to concertrate on our new home (First time buyers) and then realised i hadn't had a period in over 40 days took a test and WHAM!

Congrats to All! It's lovely to be in the same boat as others!

KittenMittens1 · 06/09/2019 09:28

Also, Been having horrendous back pain and tummy cramps, dr said was completely normal and not to worry, any one have any advise on how to make it better?

Caspianberg · 06/09/2019 09:37

Morning all. My test showed 3+ at just under 5 weeks gone. 4 weeks 5 days i think. The basic strip test also showed up positive on 8 dpo.
Google in its wisdom tells me early high levels could indicate twins! Hmm. Have a scan in 6 days time. Has anyone else had this?

Still hungry here. Woke up feeling sick this morning and had to have toast at 7am. I never usually eat first thing. As soon as i ate i felt ok again. Im wondering if its something to do with low blood pressure.

@KittenMittens1 - my cramps seems to get better if i eat and sit down. Usually i am always on the go so have to force myself to sit down 20 mins.

mininionsteve · 06/09/2019 09:39

@Huffthepuff The waiting is the worst isn't it. It feels like the longest part of the whole process!

KittenMittens1 · 06/09/2019 09:47

@Caspianberg Twins!! Oh god.

Every single test has showed an extremely dark line straight away not even had to wait more than 5 seconds for them to show.

I've just brought a 2 bed house, the possibility of twins!!!!! Confused

Caspianberg · 06/09/2019 10:21

@KittensMittens1 - my spare bedroom is currently a building site.

mollysmummy1970 · 06/09/2019 10:28

Oh my god I hadn't even thought of the possibility of twins 😂

Is there any in your family? X

Caspianberg · 06/09/2019 10:47

No twins in my family as far as I know

KittenMittens1 · 06/09/2019 11:00

there has been 2 sets of twins in my family but sadly only one child of each set was born healthy and survived. So no actual living set of twins in the family.

But just the thought of 2! at 1 time! Shock

TummyTurtle · 06/09/2019 11:48

My DH is very keen for twins! Says he wants it over in one go (e.g sleepless nights in a concentrated period rather than over many years). Confused

Fortunately none of my symptoms are particularly strong so I'm hoping it's just one baby in there!

May2311 · 06/09/2019 11:49

Twins are wonderful💕 but hard work 😂 My sister has twin girls- no twins in the family that we know of(although Our nana was adopted so could be down that line) It was from her bloods that they suspected twins and then she had an early scan which confirmed it. Xxx

AmIseeingRight · 06/09/2019 11:53

Welcome and congratulations, so nice to see new BFP joining everyday Smile.

@Victoria315 I wouldn't worry about it, any number of reasons why - like urine not concentrated enough or ur dates are off by a day or 2. I would try again in a week and you should have 3+.

@FirstTimeMama91CB only shows up to 3+, so you wont get 4+

@Huffthepuff im the same - first trimester is a rollercoaster of emotions. @Caspianberg on sunday my OH casually mentioned his dad's had twins in his family, I almost threw up! We don't have any in my family and I never knew this about OH's family or even thought it was a possibility. he thought my reaction was so funny Angry. only time will tell Hmm.

Huffthepuff · 06/09/2019 12:19

Thank you for the spreadsheet by the way @AmIseeingRight 😊 it's amazing! I've booked GP for 30th September. Wish it was sooner but we're going on holiday just before that.
