Decaf my first was induced at 40+3, and my second was born on her due date! I have almost no chance of getting past 40 weeks without an induction this time so I have hope...
People keep telling me "oooh third babies can take a while!" How was your third labour??

I'm c section tomorrow!! 😝

Im so excited now! DH feels a bit sick I think! Having a lovely day with DH and dd today. Pizza Hut lunch (DD's choice) beach trampolines and stuff for an hour. Just popped home to cool down then popping round a friends for a little bit.

Then back home with dd (DH will probably stay at friends for a bit) I might let her stay up a bit later to watch a film or something.

DH is nesting 😂 he's done all the housework this morning, had the car cleaned and just put the babies car seat in the car.

Exciting stuff! It's good you've had today to do something nice with DD. Are you fasting from midnight then in first thing?

No @easterbuns1 I'm on an afternoon list thankfully so I'm allowed breakfast before 7am then nothing. Got to be at the hospital for 11am, slots are 13:30 and 14:45. There is one after that but they said at my booking in appointment that I'm not last (thank god).

Then hoping for a speedy discharge Saturday because if the weather forecast is accurate, it will be roasting hot!! As if hospitals aren't hot enough already!

Dusty you will be pleased to know my third was my best of the four! Full nights sleep, woke at 830 at 39+4 with first contraction, hospital for half 10, gas and air only, baby born half 1

Tefiti is your sweep in hospital or community? My mw says i cant get one in the community until i am 40 weeks. However i realised after my appointment that my 40 week app is at 39+4 and am wondering if i can get one then!

15.09.19 EDD and planned induction

Got my induction date today hoping she comes sooner though I’m a waddling mess at the minute and hoping it doesn’t get too warm again my feet can’t stand it, up every hour for the loo last night and got up at 4 so I’m knackered !

@IVEgottheDECAF it’s in the hospital, I will be 39+1, my trust are happy to do sweeps from 39 weeks so just hoping I have a cervix that plays ball! Ooh fingers crossed you get one too!!

@IVEgottheDECAF mine is community and 39+3 and they said they’ll do one then

Fingers crossed they will then although i would rather not get that far!

My appointment is Wednesday so should probably have an induction date then.

Spa was lovely, plenty of naps - very much needed as was wide awake from 4am

Ooooh @Florencenotflo I was wracking my brains for who was down for a section this Friday. Exciting!!! Here's to a lovely smooth arrival with no delays!
@IVEgottheDECAF ugh hope you are not coming down with something. Being super pregnant is bad enough.
Fingers crossed I get your nice and easy third birth! (Although... my first two were very easy so slightly worried I've used my luck...)
I got loads of sweeps in the community from 38 weeks last time- the MWs took it as a point of honour that they were going to get me going without an induction- although it was a hospital doc whose sweep did it (she was very chuffed!)

@kyles101 Very jealous of your spa day, it sounds like bliss! My work friends have given me a spa voucher which I am really looking forward to using once baby comes and I want some me time!

@IVEgottheDECAF Here's hoping I'll have your third birth too please!
