I was at the hospital for reduced movements last night Hsunshine. It wasn't that I'd not felt the baby move at all, but that since the middle of last week she's been way quieter throughout the day to the extent I was going hours without feeling her. Even when I was at home relaxing (i.e., when she previously preferred to party-party) she was still quiet. Any movements I did get were more subtle as well.
So we trotted off the emergency obstetric unit last night and had a trace done, everything is good. She had been transverse at my last appointment and has flipped head down, and they said sometimes a change in position can trigger a change in pattern. They did some measurements on the scan and she's at 4lb 11oz but obviously taking that with a salt bae level of salt due to the inaccuracy of those things. The staff were really understanding even though I 100% came across like your stereotypical anxious first timer. It's all about what's normal for you and your baby, so please go in if you're still worried.
I got a Joie 2-in-1 rocker off Facebook Marketplace last week, one of those £150 jobbies that rocks, vibrates, plays music, etc. It's in excellent condition and I got it for £55. DNephew is enjoying his temporary upgrade from his basic bouncer until we need it in September!
Anyone else found they're the opposite of constipated? I'm more regular than I've ever been
suppose that's good, really. Speaking of shitting oneself, I reminded my boss yesterday I only have six full weeks of work left. Oh his little face
