Gosh yes, due next month, aghhhh. I’m quite forward to telling people though when they say I’m already massive!

BridgetJonesDaiquiri · 01/08/2019 08:05

*looking forward!

Lavellan · 01/08/2019 08:17

First thought in my head this morning - one month to go! OMG.

I've a growth scan tomorrow so think I'll get that and then buy the baby clothes I need with that estimate in mind! Don't feel organised yet.

Tefiti2 · 01/08/2019 08:55

Eek same @Whisky2014 - really hoping for an August baby!!
I’ll PM you @ColdCottage

TheCraicDealer · 01/08/2019 09:01

I left my glasses in the car and there isn't a snowball's chance in hell I'm waddling back to the car park (nearly half a mile), so I'm sitting in the office with my prescription sunglasses on. I am past giving any fucks tbh.

Whisky2014 · 01/08/2019 09:16

Lol quite right @thecraicdealer

Whisky2014 · 01/08/2019 09:25

I'm just about to do presentation no 1.
I'm about to look like an idiot.
I've kind of giving up caring now. I'm just thinking only 13 hours of work left :D

BridgetJonesDaiquiri · 01/08/2019 09:32

Best of luck @Whisky2014. Final push - you’ll smash it.

Megan2018 · 01/08/2019 09:42

34 weeks today and can finally say "due next month" which seems like a milestone. Also reassured that if baby comes early now they have really good outcomes from 34 weeks - comparable with full term.
9 more days at work - can't wait!
Hope your last hours go quickly @Whisky2014

boodles101 · 01/08/2019 09:49

I'm due this month! How scary!!
Last 2 days in work and our computer system has gone down so can't actually do any work. Plus I'm leaving early for the fetal medicine scan 😆

Puglover88 · 01/08/2019 10:06

Oh my gosh that’s quite scary - I suddenly feel very underprepared and think I should probably get off the couch and do something! I edited my baby list yesterday of all the stuff I still need to get and somehow it’s still about £500 worth! How can one little baby need so much stuff!

Karigan195 · 01/08/2019 10:36

According to the consultant I saw yesterday he may be coming out in 2 weeks 😲. She’s going to decide next Tuesday. Sweeps starting next Wednesday as well. All getting a bit real now!!!

Whisky2014 · 01/08/2019 11:07

Presentation was ok actually. My but went well (maybe better than others..phew)
1 down 1 to go tomorrow.

Omg @karigan195 that's sooooon!!! Fuck I'm excited for you!!

Megan2018 · 01/08/2019 11:15

Wow @Karigan195
That is very soon, how exciting! I think I have at least 5, didn't get the feeling there would be any appetite to deliver before 39 weeks and they are still aiming for 40 as long as my next growth scan is on a par with previous.

They review me next at 36+6 though.

happydays00 · 01/08/2019 11:52

@Karigan195 how exciting! And snap!! My section is booked 2 weeks today.

Thanks for all the lovely messages ladies, I spoke to a friend who has been an NICU nurse for about 10+ years and she strongly advised me to stick to consultant number 1s recommendation of section at 36+4.

Had my second and last steroid shot today and another monitoring. My heart rate was too high (I suspect because I've been awake since 2:30!!!!!) and contractions were strong and regular so they have advised bed rest now. I'm back and have bought my laptop to bed. I hoped to get to the end of next week for work but looking extremely doubtful now.

Karigan195 · 01/08/2019 12:18

@happydays00. It’s all getting real a bit too quickly now isn’t it! Hope you get the chance to take it easy and baby keeps cooking nicely until the c section.

I’m 36 + 1 today

Soo many hospital appointments though! Should save the fuel money and just sleep there 😜

Wtf was that

Karigan195 · 01/08/2019 12:39

Didn’t read that message but just have been interesting to get deleted on this harmless thread lol

Whisky2014 · 01/08/2019 12:58

Oh I missed it too!

kyles101 · 01/08/2019 13:06

@TheCraicDealer brilliant 😎

Hope the presentation went well @Whisky2014 argh one more day for you then? 6 (and a couple of hours) for me... Ha ha - please tell me "my but went well" wasn't actually a typo and everyone was in fact admiring your but 😂

Babies will be starting to make more regular appearances within the next few weeks!

Argh, did anyone see the mystery deleted message?

Megan2018 · 01/08/2019 13:23

I think it may have been a bot post so nothing interesting - there seem to have been a fair few on other threads today.

Well done @Whisky2014 I am worse than useless at work now, may as well be at home!

kyles101 · 01/08/2019 13:51

I'm sooooo tired.... I'm falling asleep at my desk 💤

IVEgottheDECAF · 01/08/2019 14:10

I am sooooo grumpy today Blush everything is going wrong / breaking

Puglover does your £500 list include basics or luxury items! We only need a buggy board (£40ish) and maybe at later date a carrier (£70ish). That is if i havent forgotten something really obvious....

Karigan195 · 01/08/2019 15:14

Sorry people are feeling grumpy and tired. Completely sympathise.
