Couldn't see that anyone had started another thread after we filled up the last one, so hopefully I haven't made a double...

Lying on the bed relaxing and as my bump moving when she kicks! I think DH saw it too but he's rubbish at noticing these things Grin

Made me really excited as with DS2 we never saw anything. Anterior placenta again this time but she's obviously feisty lol

Farmmum7 · 22/07/2019 21:02

@mintypea5 sorry to hear about your DHs grandpa. I think we'll have the funeral Thursday it all happens so quick here there doesn't seem to be any time to process at all! My placenta is anterior too I think it's to one side though as I can feel kicks on one side and nothing on the other atm.

Thanks @LittleAndOften I'll have a look tonight Smile

LittleAndOften · 23/07/2019 18:19

In case you are suffering in the heat...

EmilyB94 · 24/07/2019 13:29

Hello
I am due to have my first baby (a boy) at the end of November anyone else with a due date at the end of November?

dottydally · 25/07/2019 13:33

How is everyone coping? I feel like I might die Sad

Sleepyquest · 25/07/2019 14:01

I feel like a useless sack of poo! I just keep complaining and refusing to move, there is no air con at work! My colleagues must hate me Grin oh and then DH can hear me moan when I get home.

Hope others are doing better haha

Hayesdays · 25/07/2019 14:03

corrr it is rather warm isn't it! Feel like I'm melting at work (there's no air con and we are on the top floor of a barn conversion :( ) I'm sure the mini radiator growing in my belly isn't helping things...but feeling lots of kicks now so she must be happy enough in there :)

hi @EmilyB94 I'm due on the 29th Nov, when are you due?

EmilyB94 · 25/07/2019 14:07

@hayesdays I am due on the 29th too!!

Hayesdays · 25/07/2019 14:12

@EmilyB94 ooo fab! I'm really hoping she comes on time (wishful thinking as she's my first!) but I'd like her to be a Nov baby so her birthday doesn't get over shadowed by Christmas too much. Probably a silly thought, but there you go!

EmilyB94 · 25/07/2019 14:17

@hayesdays yes me too I hope our little does although my husbands birthday is in December and we already have 5 birthdays in November. But he is our first so who knows haha.

PyjamasForever · 25/07/2019 18:38

It's so hot today that my hoover blew up. Supposed to be ironing clothes to go to a wedding tomorrow (we have to leave at 6am!) but considering just sending us all creased. Really been struggling in the heat, so glad I'm only 24 weeks and not 34 weeks!!

I've taken to having short cool ish baths try and keep cool but the second I'm out, im sweating again. Hoping cool baths are OK.
The gro egg we bought for the little one is saying 32 degrees in the bedroom. Wowzer!
Went to the hospital today to see the consultant and the unit was roasting. All the pregnant ladies really struggling - you'd think they would get a fan for the waiting room!

We ordered a pram last week and ended up going with the iCandy. Has anyone else gone with an icandy?

snowy0wl · 25/07/2019 19:04

Ooooh - I'm looking at the iCandy. Which model did you go for? I'm interested in the Lime.

EmilyB94 · 25/07/2019 19:10

We have ordered our pram too. We have gone for the oyster 3.

Mintypea5 · 25/07/2019 19:43

DYING I hate heat. Moving to the North Pole is my only options!

We haven't brought our new pram yet but planning on cosatto xl wow. We need a double as DS2 will only be 16ish months and have narrow doors and halls so need an tandum not a side by side.

OhMarnie · 25/07/2019 20:05

@EmilyB94 we've gone for this pram too 😊

Unsureursula · 25/07/2019 20:12

We’ve gone for the bugaboo cam Smile

EmilyB94 · 25/07/2019 20:13

@OhMarnie I really liked all the little features and the fact it folds quite compact but isn't too heavy! Ours is due to be delivered in September!

PyjamasForever · 25/07/2019 20:41

I've made what feels like a huge list of baby things I "need" this time round, when a couple of weeks ago I pretty much thought we'd only need a new crib. The list just gets bigger and bigger. I've also decided that I need to try to get on top of Christmas gifts pre-baby so I ended up buying a few stocking bits today.

JoJoSaysHello · 25/07/2019 21:12

@PyjamasForever you're so organised!! I hadn't even thought about Christmas shopping - definitely don't want to be leaving the house with a new born to attempt that!! Thanks for the tip, I'll get my present planning skates on [santa]

Mintypea5 · 25/07/2019 21:29

@PyjamasForever that's so organised! What's on your list?

We need
Double pram
New set of bottles
Girls clothes

HeartvsHead · 26/07/2019 11:46

Hello! We have been in Malta for the past week. Missing the air con now we are back!

I have not started thinking about what we need. Got most big bits from DD but prob need to do an inventory. Need a buggy board. I have the oyster max from last time so seems to be a few buggy board options about.

I'm due 2nd Nov so hoping will have time to sort bits after baby arrives and of not DH can sort. I always end up doing the Christmas shopping so wouldn't be the worst if he had to. DD was due 20th Dec so was very organised that year!

Hope everyone is well!

Unsureursula · 26/07/2019 12:33

I’ve made lists too- baby no1 so really starting from scratch! Costs are scary too! Plus we don’t have much storage so don’t want to be buying things too early! Due 6 Nov so thats a really good tip about Christmas shopping- I might try start that this weekend! I’m not sure DP would be too reliable taking that on lol!

fabaga · 26/07/2019 13:35

Apparently babies on my mother's side of the family run late, and as I'm due on 16th November and off work from 31st Oct, I'm planning on getting Amazon Prime and doing all of my Christmas shopping and wrapping after I go off on mat leave, likely over the whole of November.

I bet the baby comes early and scuppers my Christmas present plans!

Tmnmpa1 · 26/07/2019 21:06

You all seem so organised and productive. I'm feeling pretty useless. We are moving house and DH is doing all the hard work...but I'm so exhausted. Feel very rubbish and tired from work and all I want is to sleep or cry. The heat makes all that way worse.
