No idea what I'm having. Wanted to find out but DH didn't and as it meant we'd have had to pay for a private scan we didn't bother.

Well done first star. Well Im gutted I no longer have the heavyweight from July he is light compared to yours. I love it that hes big tho very cuddly!!!! Enjoy him!! We are going into size 3-6 at 4 weeks old!!!

Typhoonsmum - looks like your the only one left then, assuming the other inductions worked at the weekend. Don't worry - I will keep popping back when I can to keep you company. Glad the date for your induction is earlier than initially indicated. Hopefully though you won't need it and your lo will arrive very very soon.

Yup i'm all alone. Don't feel so bad now tho. I have a date to work towards. I plan to give the house it's final spring clean this afternoon as I may not get round to tidying much after today

typhoon wishing you luck for your inductionhope everything runs smoothly for you. i went to see mr ellard. he is bringing me back for scan in 3 weeks then will give me my date for c section then. cant ait but seems so far away.

It is twenty to eight in the morning. Splodge hasn't made any appearance yet so in about 40 minutes I'm off to hospital. I'm on the ward next to the one I work on. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing. Don't want to be wondering around the hospital having contractions and running into people I work with but the staff priviledges will help.

DP has gone to work to sort out the staff and will come back when I phone him. He is working in Manchester tho and I am near Liverpool so will take him about an hour depending on traffic. A friend is doing her nurse training and is in lectures in the hospital so she will call in between them till DP gets there. DD has stayed with MIL the past three nights and although the peace has been lovely I do miss her. I want to give her a big cuddle.

I don't win Beyonceen. Although I'm the last my pregnancy - if all goes according to plan has only been 40+11. Dumbledorf, keiralou and Agnesnitt managed 40+12 so they share it. That was the way I understood it anyway. If I'm wrong then let me know.

Got to the hospital and they told me the midwife had made a mistake and I shouldn't be in till tomorrow so I'd have to go home and come back then.

Got myself all pschyed up for today and now I have to do it again tomorrow.

They say it is hospital policy not to do it b4 t+12. I'm T+11. They said it would be more complicated. IT@S ONE F'''''' DAY. Anyway I might enjoy the sun in the yard to cheer myself up instead.

oh well. you'll have no excuse tommorrow so thats a good thought. wonder how long it will take. you 'll have to let us know as soon as you get back.

Have a strange feeling of deja vu. I going babk to the hospital in about an hour. Hopefully they'll do it today. Still no sign of baby. I hope there isn't a problem!

hi all i am finally not pregnant any more!!!!!

I was due to be induced last Sunday however at 11:59 Saturday lunchtime Chloe Olivia was born weighing 8lb 4oz

1st contraction at 5:30pm fri continued at home as they were bearable until about 3am when they became 3 mins apart so went to the hospital. Baby was back to back and unfortunately I had to stay on the bed the whole time on a monitor due to last delivery. However I managed to get through the whole labour and birth with no pain relief, just used deep slow breathing had no stitches just one tiny tear which i cant even feel. Was in the shower after her first feed and up and about which was lovely.

I could have gone home after a couple of hours but I asked to stay just to check that i was feeding her right and she was doing ok. Anyhow I ended up having to stay 2 nights due to the fact that they only had one baby doctor on shift doing all the baby checks and she kept getting called away to emergency's. They said i could discharge myself and get Chloe checked at the GP but i've only just moved here and dont even know if they are any good so decided to wait and finally got discharged after all clear on check!

Chloe has been breastfeeding well and had put on 1oz at 5 day check. Big sister Marli has adjusted well to her although still refers to her as "it" bless her!

Hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying their new bundles smile]

Ladies, not had time to catch up, but all went well...Kayla was born 06.08.07 @ 3.29am she weighed 8 lb 3...ive posted a pic, shes a brilliant baby, sleeps all night (8hours) so cant complain, and never cries, shes so,so content.

I hope you are all well x
