I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

Hello! Due on 26 November, 5 weeks and 2 days. Had indigestion and constipation over the last week but that seems to have settled and just have really sore boobs!

I have a ten year old DD and had quite bad morning sickness with her but can't remember when it started - trying not to panic that it hasn't started yet!

Good to connect with others due about the same date - I've forgotten a lot of what I knew with DD I think! Also the newborn days may have just overridden the pregnancy days in my mind!

Exciting times although I am worried about being older this time round (38, will be 39 in July) and the miscarriage / health risks!

plipliop · 29/03/2019 04:20

@lorelaix2 ooh I have a ten year gap with mine too. And I'm 36/37 when baby is due!

plipliop · 29/03/2019 04:21

@Littlebird5 enjoy not feeling sick whilst you can Grin

Lozzlepop · 29/03/2019 08:09

@BostonFern what a long day, at least its almost the weekend and you can chill! We both fell asleep on the sofa last night and were in bed by 9:45 lol!

Woken up feeling super sick today, the OH still isn't well so he's at home, I have a breakfast networking event to attend and have been looking forward to this bacon roll all week and now I have a feeling that the smell is going to be too much for me, also thinking there won't be any decaf tea of coffee 🙄

lorelaix2 · 29/03/2019 08:52

@plipliop it's a funny one isn't it! 10 years is almost like having a first one again! I am wondering about the whole time off thing - last time I did NCT so had a ready made group of friends but don't want to / see the point of doing that again so wondering how I'll make my mat leave friends to hang out with ! Will have to go to baby groups and just talk to people I suppose!

Also I'm very worried about higher miscarriage risk! And wondering where the morning sickness is!

Albgo · 29/03/2019 09:02

Hi all - congratulations everyone. I'm joining if that is okay? I got my BFP on Monday, and am due around 6th December. I had a chemical in February, so am feeling very nervous! x

Lozzlepop · 29/03/2019 11:06

@Albgo good morning and welcome to the thread. Congrats on you bfp especially after a chemical. Is this baby #1?

dalecooperscoffeecup · 29/03/2019 11:39

Congratulations newcomers!

I was being supervised at work yesterday and had to slope off for a snack midway through. Could just be me being greedy though.

Albgo · 29/03/2019 16:08

Yes @Lozzlepop, this is baby number one. Its still such early days that I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much. x

Kizzy8705 · 29/03/2019 16:27

I don’t have sickness but I have the runs. Feeling shit

BostonFern · 29/03/2019 17:44

Welcome @Littlebird5, @Albgo and @lorelaix2 👋🏻 good to have you here and congratulations on your BFP!

@Lozzlepop , I am so glad it's Friday. I have a few assignments to mark this weekend, but with the early waking up that's going on at the moment I should be done by lunchtime tomorrow 🙌
I also felt very nauseous this morning. Had to buy biscuits half way to work so I could nibble on them whilst DP drove!

A close work colleague guessed last I'm pregnant night-my frequent need to wee gave it away!

@Kizzy8705 I had a horrible stomach at the start of the week, it's settled a bit since- Googled it and apparently it's another part of early pregnancy we can look forward to!

Coming to join if I may. Had a surprise but not an unwelcome one. Due on the 1st of December. It will be no 3 with a four year age gap. I’m also now officially a geriatric pregnancy (35) which is charming!

BostonFern · 29/03/2019 18:46

Welcome and congratulations @elephantmarch 👋🏻

Hi! Mind if I join in Smile Got my BFP yesterday, 4+2 and due 4th December from my dates, with DC1!

Lovely to see you from the TTC thread @BostonFern, @Lozzlepop, @Hatty33!

Feels very strange to actually be pregnant now - we weren't officially trying too long but have been 'waiting to try' for years!

It's so reassuring to hear you guys say the same things that I'm feeling! Hot and cold, huge sore breasts, thirst, cramps, trouble sleeping, stop-start digestion! This is glamorous isn't it! I've had pretty near constant cramps and stretching/stabbing pains across the front of my pelvis all week, pains under my ribs, backaches and headaches. I've woken up at 1 then at 4.30 every day since Saturday Hmm

Plus side, its early but no nausea at all really, the odd moment of queasiness but not actually nauseous. I'm also really not very hungry - I've kind of gone off the idea of food tbh - I was definitely expecting to be hungrier.

The back aches are quite persistent, I can't stand up for more than about 15 mins without a lot of pain in my lower back - have been doing core work to help! Makes the tube quite uncomfortable. Have already ordered my first pregnancy thing, a Baby on Board badge from TFL!

We've not told anyone yet - but literally no one will be surprised, DH and I are the broodiest couple in the world! Its DHs birthday over Easter and were heading to his family so keen to tell them then F2F (7+1) but he thinks it's too early - I don't disagree but I feel like we're lying. We see my DPs about three times a week so can tell them whenever.

Hope everyone has lovely weekend plans! Anyone doing anything nice for mothers day?

Lozzlepop · 29/03/2019 21:02

@PeacockingAbout ahhhh congratulations ☺️ Great to see you here!!! You must be so excited! Yeah so far I haven’t had much in the way of symptoms but expecting the morning sickness to kick in about week 6 lol! You’re right it’s such a glamorous time, just feel like I’m constantly farting 🤣

I am off to a baby shower tomorrow then meant to be staying at my friends at night but her little one isn’t well and our other friend thinks her little one may have passed on chickenpox which means it may be cancelled. No real plans for mother’s day, prob go see the OHs folks as they are just down the road what about you?

MinnieLou · 30/03/2019 00:07

Hi all,
Hope you don't mind that I join?
I got a positive yesterday estimated due date 4th December. Trying not to get too excited as I had a miscarriage in January at 6 weeks. This will be my first. So nervous!

Started having slight cramps with a bit of discharge almost colourless and lower backache today..
x

Kizzy8705 · 30/03/2019 02:20

Im awake again. I keep waking up in the night and not being able to go back to sleep. No wonder I’m so tired in the day

Hatty33 · 30/03/2019 02:57

Hey all. So I’m proper symptom spotting and then I panic as I think I should have more! But been told obviously everyone is different. Waiting for my midwife scan and we are going to book an 8/9 week scan. I go on holiday next week which will be wk 6/7 so I really hope morning sickness doesn’t being to full kick in!

plipliop · 30/03/2019 03:31

I'm awake too... whhhyyyyyyy

lorelaix2 · 30/03/2019 03:54

Me too it is so annoying !!!! Every night at some point when the clock says 3 something, for an hour! Why!!!

I go on holiday too a week on Tuesday for two weeks and am sure I'll be throwing up for most of it!

Dotty143 · 30/03/2019 06:22

Hi ladies, I hope you don’t mind me joining. I got a BFP on Thursday after 3 months of trying. Followed with a CB digital yesterday (DH needed to see it in words apparently 😂) which came up as 2-3 weeks. Which makes me 4w5d today if I’ve got my dates right. This will be our first, we are so excited but nervous as it’s such early days. Estimated due date is around 6th December.
I’ve had a little read of the thread so far and it’s so reassuring reading all of your symptoms as I keep doubting whether it’s too early to actually feel any. My main difference to usual cycles has been tender boobs, I’ve also been super tired but then wide awake from the early hours! I felt really nauseous too yesterday but wasn’t sure if I just felt rough from the lack of sleep.
Happy weekend everyone! 😍

BostonFern · 30/03/2019 08:07

@PeacockingAbout so good to see you here!

Welcome @Dotty143 Congratulations on your BFP!

Welcome @MinnieLou! I read that colourless/milky white discharge is normal throughout pregnancy, I don't know if that's any reassurance?

@Kizzy8705 @Hatty33 @plipliop @lorelaix2 2am-4am is the time I find myself waking up too, managed to get back to sleep and sleep through until 7am (an hour longer than normal at least).

It's my birthday next weekend, bless my DP, he has been googling things to do when you're in the first trimester and keeps having his ideas met with 'she'll probably just want to lie down and sleep!' 😂

Did another clearblue digital this morning, has changed from 2-3 weeks to 3+. Apps are still saying 4+5 but I think I'm 5+2......I know it's all just estimations at the moment and it'll change at the scans, but it's quite interesting to know what's going on each week at the moment. Are any of you using pregnancy apps? I've got a few (Glow, Pregnancy+ and Ovia), I like to see what articles they have etc.

I have to get off Mumsnet and mark some assignments, hopefully won't take too long though and then the weekend will be my own!

OP posts:
dalecooperscoffeecup · 30/03/2019 08:23

I use Ovia. I'm in it for the size comparisons really.

Weekly test this morning, test line came up immediately. It's all in my head but makes me feel better!

Albgo · 30/03/2019 08:42

I use Flo and Pregnancy Plus.
Flo is a bit disappointing now as they have some content you have to pay for.
Is Ovia good? x

dalecooperscoffeecup · 30/03/2019 08:54

Well it's free, which is always a bonus! It has daily updates about what your embryo is to and you can choose your theme (mine is currently cake related). It is American, probably like most, so some of the medical stuff isn't a reflection of what happens here.

(And welcome and congratulations newcomers!)
