Congratulations @HugoBearsMummy!

I think I'll be the last one left! Confused

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 24/02/2019 19:33

Congrats to all these new babies!

How many of us actually are left?! We’ve got to be thin on the ground now..

HugoBearsMummy · 24/02/2019 19:33

@AvoidingMarking oh bless you good luck with everything x

bubblybrit · 24/02/2019 20:05

sickmumma · 24/02/2019 20:22

Congratulations everyone who's had their babies!! Still going strong here no signs at all and due Thursday! Driving myself slightly insane!!

lanalawr · 24/02/2019 20:32

Congratulations @HugoBearsMummy

DeliberatelyGinger · 24/02/2019 20:52

@sickmumma I'm in the same boat; due Wednesday and no signs at all. Does it just come in all of a sudden or is there a build up? Baby seems quite comfy, although is in the correct position and quite engaged.
Congratulations to all the new Mummas! Flowers

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 24/02/2019 20:59

I’ll be 11 days over tomorrow and no signs... another sweep and monitoring booked for Tuesday 🤷🏻‍♀️

Susannach · 24/02/2019 21:26

Beautiful HugoBear! Congratulations Flowers

Henslovetoscratch · 24/02/2019 21:27

Hello!! A bit late to the party but I was due 16th Feb and am now 8 days over. Although not hugely keen I have an induction booked for Wed due to higher BP reading and no signs at all of baby coming, plus it's not even engaged! The waiting game is mad isn't it? Good luck everyone still waiting and congrats to those who have had their babies! :-)

Lulabell1 · 25/02/2019 19:50

Alice im so sorry i really hope you got time and photos of your babygirl cant imagen the feelings you are feeling right now.

Lulabell1 · 25/02/2019 19:53

We are home from hospital and have the all clear from the meningitis what a scary few weeks that was babygirl is now 9weeks old and im thinking iv really messed up with feeding..i have only breastfed up until last week i gave a bottle of formula at night only reason really was i was being really lazy no excuse and then the following night since then she has been constipated we are on day 5 of no poo and she is constantly crying i really dont no what to do and i think its the formula!

Lookingforadvice123 · 25/02/2019 20:05

DS2 arrived last night at 40+4, so my second sweep did the trick! Labour was straightforward midwifery lead but not as easy as I thought it would be, with it being my second. I expected the baby to walk out Grin but I still pushed for 1 hour 10 minutes and got a second degree tear needing internal stitches and a "graze". All worth it though and I'm hoping it recovers quickly.

Baby weighed 8lb3 and we stayed one night in hospital and came home this morning. He seems to feeding well but I hope it's ok for a newborn - he's feeding every few hours, so not all that frequent, but really long feeds eg 1-2 hours. Hopefully we get some sleep tonight!

AvoidingMarking · 25/02/2019 20:16

@Lulabell1 have you spoken to HV? Tried bicycle legs or tummy massage?

AvoidingMarking · 25/02/2019 20:17

@Lookingforadvice123 congratulations!

bubblybrit · 25/02/2019 20:23

Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy @Lookingforadvice123. My little one is feeding every 3-4 hours but also feeds for an hour or so. Midwife hasn’t shown any concern so far even though dd has lost a little weight since birth.

AliceRR · 25/02/2019 22:10

Thank you @ Lulabell1 and congratulations to all of you who have had your babies in the last week or so. I am just dipping in and out of the group at the moment for obvious reasons. I want to know how you’re all doing but I suppose I’m on a slightly different path for now xx

babyp160 · 25/02/2019 22:51

Soooo maybe a little early but how long did you all wait before becoming sexually active again?

Congrats everyone on their babies xx

Celebelly · 25/02/2019 23:01

Congrats on the new arrivals!

@babyp160. My midwife recommended 6 weeks although I believe that’s the standard guideline rather than being specific to me!

I had a second degree tear which was close to being a third degree tear so don’t feel ready yet to take that step. However only gave birth 2 weeks ago so hoping that things improve soon!

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 25/02/2019 23:38

@AliceRR your strength and dignity through this is amazing.. I think I’d resent anyone with a baby, I did after my MMCs, which I don’t think can come close to your situation.

I think of you a lot, I’m so sorry x
