September 2019 babies?

abi2790 · 27/12/2018 14:30

Do we have any September due dates yet?

This one came as a big shock for me. I had my coil out on 30th November and must have conceived pretty much straight away. Considering it took quite a long time to get DD, the BFP was a big shock!

This one will be my third!

All fine, thankfully. A very tiny and new heartbeat, measuring exactly as I expected based on ovulation dates. The sonography was really wonderful and showed me lots of things that indicate a healthy early pregnancy. Huge relief.

TwittleBee · 12/01/2019 18:44

So relieved for you stroan how lovely to get to see that so early, despite the scare. Hope everything continues to go smooth

Hangingtrousers · 12/01/2019 18:53

Glad all ok @stroan
I had a bleed with dd2 and it's terrifying. Really don't want that again this time.

stroan · 12/01/2019 19:02

@hangingtrousers I bled with DD as well and had to wait 4 days for a scan at EPU. We had a private one back then too but it was still 2 days of horrible worry. I didn’t want that again and luckily the clinic could squeeze us in.

We also told 3yo DD and let her see the scan pic, not that there’s much to see. She’s been really rough with me for a few days and demanding to be carried which I’m finding hard to do. She really understands and is very excited. She says that if the baby poops, she will give it milk. We may need to work on her baby rearing skills 😂

Hangingtrousers · 12/01/2019 19:05

Aw that's cute.
My dd2 is 2 and is obsessed with babies. She constantly has a doll in her arms. She's going to be an amazing big sis!

TwittleBee · 12/01/2019 20:57

Bleeding can be so scary. Bled in both my pregnancies, with DS it was put down to sex (irritated the cervix, pretty common). Last pregnancy, it sadly ended in MMC but apparently the bleeding was unrelated.

Got my scan letter through! 4th March! Should be approx 11 weeks

hodgeheg92 · 13/01/2019 05:24

@fortheloveofscience it doesn't feel real for me yet either. I think with DD it started to feel real when we paid for an early scan and got to listen to her heartbeat. It didn't feel entirely real until she was born though, when the first thing I did was exclaim shock that she had ears Grin

My DD is being really hard work this week, she's only sleeping till 4am, being so grumpy with me and I'm back at work Sad it's just making me question this decision. For me the downside of catching straight away is not having time to adapt to the decision.

TwittleBee · 13/01/2019 05:50

I think I'm having another CP / MC Sad my temps are down again this morning and I took another test and it's barely a 2nd line there now Sad

Hangingtrousers · 13/01/2019 06:06

Oh @twittlebee sorry to read that. Really hope not. All fingers crossed for you.

ButtonTum · 13/01/2019 06:40

Oh @TwittleBee I'm so sorry. I really hope not. Xxx

Tefiti2 · 13/01/2019 08:35

Oh no @twittlebee - how many dpo are you? Could the hook effect be coming into effect yet with your tests? Xx

TwittleBee · 13/01/2019 08:43

I'm only 14dpo so really wouldn't be hook effect yet. Sad

Fortheloveofscience · 13/01/2019 08:52

Will be keeping everything crossed for you Twittlebee.

Megan2018 · 13/01/2019 09:16

Oh gosh @Twittlebee
I really hope this works out for you xx

Megan2018 · 13/01/2019 09:21

I have done my second test today (first was CD29 last Sunday). First test was FRER, this time used a basic Boots, immediate positive with strong lines. Still terrified although somewhat reassured that 2 tests have read the same.
GP appt at 9am tomorrow.

stroan · 13/01/2019 09:42

Oh no @twittlebee I really hope it’s nothing to worry about. Xx

Karigan195 · 13/01/2019 10:38

Fingers crossed for you Twittlebee.

7 weeks today or maybe 11 depending on dates. Looked in the mirror and I have a small bump! So maybe it is 11.... hurry up dating scan so I can figure this out!

Easterbuns1 · 13/01/2019 12:37

That's the spotting started, I knew it would at some point but would have liked another week or two before having to deal with the anxiety. Only 5+3 so will just have to keep an eye on it and see how things progress.

Tefiti2 · 13/01/2019 13:43

Oh no @eaterbuns1 :-( have you had spotting with previous pregnancies? Xx

Tefiti2 · 13/01/2019 13:44

Thinking of you @twittlebee ❤️ Hope it all turns out okay xx

Easterbuns1 · 13/01/2019 15:24

@Tefiti2 yes always, first two all was well after several quite big bleeds so when I had my last pregnancy I wasn't too worried at all as I thought it was normal for me. UnfortunatelyI then had a mmc just before 11 weeks after a perfect scan at 8+4.

Im trying to rationalise that the spotting is normal for me and won't make any difference to the outcome, will just have to wait and see. Im still super nauseous.

MrsRRC · 13/01/2019 17:53

6+5 here. Was feeling quite smug about not feeling sick but it started yesterday afternoon and again this afternoon. I haven’t actually been sick yet but I am not far off it.

I had a couple of days reprieve from trapped wind, burping and farting but it’s back with a vengeance and the smell of my own guffs is making me gag.

When my symptoms ease off I freak out about than and when they are bad I complain. We have discussed going for an early scan for reassurance and I think it would help, for maybe 5 minutes! So I think we are going to wait for the 12 week scan.

I am already sick of lying about why I’m not drinking so am planning on hermitting indoors until we can start telling people.

ButtonTum · 13/01/2019 19:12

@MrsRRC The gagging on guffs made me laugh. Sorry.

I have NO symptoms at all but am only 4+5 so trying to enjoy it for now.

Babybee88 · 13/01/2019 20:16

@buttontum I'm 4+6 and have no symptoms either, it's starting to worry me a little! I know I should relax though as sickness may be just around the corner Grin

boodles101 · 13/01/2019 20:54

No sickness for me yet either. I was vvery lucky that i didnt have any sickness or nausea with DS so I'm really hoping that I get away with it this time soon. Or I'll get payback and be sick as a dog!
buttontum can I ask when your lmp was? I have 2 apps and one says I'm 4+3 the other says 4+5. I know it's cos I have a 26 day cycle and one app assumes a 28 days cycle. But I don't know which one to go with! Not a huge difference so know it sounds silly and scan will sort it out eventually but just curious!
