September 2019 babies?

abi2790 · 27/12/2018 14:30

Do we have any September due dates yet?

This one came as a big shock for me. I had my coil out on 30th November and must have conceived pretty much straight away. Considering it took quite a long time to get DD, the BFP was a big shock!

This one will be my third!

@knobjockey (hah) that's exactly how I'd describe my stomach. It's confusing because it feels so much like nerves, but im fairly calm.

TwittleBee · 11/01/2019 12:25

That is how everything tastes to me atm KnobJockey ! It is horrid isnt it!

KnobJockey · 11/01/2019 14:02

Well that's reassuring, glad it's not just me!

Ambermarsay1 · 11/01/2019 14:19

I have just found im pregnant yesterday, due September 2019! we only tried for 2 month so were super excited as its our first baby

boodles101 · 11/01/2019 14:58

I'll join! Got my bfp on Saturday and EDD of 19th Sept. This will be #2 and conceived on the first cycle! Shocked is an understatement! Sore boobs sore far and slightly cramping and bloating. Quite anxious and nervous due to a chemical when trying for #1. I'm holding off calling GP til next week. I'll probably do another CB digi and if I get 3+ then I'll call for the referral.

daydreamdaisy · 11/01/2019 16:00

@TwittleBee I did, it was a cyst on my ovary. I'd get it checked out!

Hsunshine · 11/01/2019 17:02

@twittlebee my dr told me any pain that causes you to bend in pain call straight away as may need to send you for early scan. I would rather go and them be like that than not go at all

Karigan195 · 11/01/2019 17:19

Just got back from the midwife. That is a lot of forms!!!

abi2790 · 11/01/2019 17:21

Shooting pains when sneezing.. that's round ligament pain right?

Congratulations to all the new ladies 😀

Oh yeah. Had that. It HURTS lol

jellybaby2019 · 11/01/2019 17:36

Just come back from the EPU. Been spotting and losing tissue for the last 4 days, plus had zero other symptoms at all. It's been a worrying and emotional week. This morning GP agreed to refer me and Dp and I went for an internal scan.

I'm happy to say that although there was no heartbeat to see yet (5+6) she could see a yolk sack and was happy that everything was ok at this point. We go back in two weeks for a further scan to be sure but for now I'm feeling very, very thankful x

hodgeheg92 · 11/01/2019 17:38

Congrats to the new joiners Smile

I went through the GP for a midwife appointment last time but the GP appointment was such a waste of time, she didn't check or ask any questions so I might see if I can go straight to the midwife this time. I kind of don't want to call yet but might POAS again tomorrow and then make an appointment for the next few weeks if I need to see the GP first.

abi2790 · 11/01/2019 17:57

@karigan195 it really does and strangely enough I don't remember it from my previous pregnancies!

Hello everyone 👋🏻
Just got a BFP about an hour ago! I'm expecting #2, I have a DS who is 22 months. I had a mmc in November so feel extremely lucky to have conceived again on our first opportunity (Christmas Day BD anyone? 🥳)
Fingers crossed that this little dude sticks around. I look forward to getting to know you ladies over the coming weeks and months! Yay!

HelloSeptember · 11/01/2019 22:52

Thanks ladies, swelling went down during the day so I’m curious about tomorrow. I’m just shocked it’s happening so early as had hardly had any swelling with DS and DD. I suppose every pg is different x

TwittleBee · 12/01/2019 05:55

I only had a scan a bit over a month ago for the MMC so surely they'd have noticed any cysts daydreamdaisy ?

Hsunshine I should really call them. I'll have to on Monday now as Drs closed at weekends.

I'm still charting my temperature and it's gone down today, convinced that with a temp drop and cramps it means I'm going to lose this one too Sad

Welcome and congrats ButtonTum ! FX for you

I'm not sure now HelloSeptember at all. Has Google turned anything up? Maybe it is just increase blood to that area?

boodles101 · 12/01/2019 07:35

Congrats buttontum we were both trying to avoid testing on another thread! Pleased hear you got your bfp aswell! Mine was probably a Xmas day BD too!

daydreamdaisy · 12/01/2019 08:05

@TwittleBee they can be brought on by pregnancy - I've never seen them on any pelvic scans in the months before I got pg (have had for bladder/pelvic issues) and they can grow super rapidly!

TwittleBee · 12/01/2019 08:07

Thank you daydreamdaisy super hope that's all it is or even better nothing at all its just my anxiety playing tricks on me

daydreamdaisy · 12/01/2019 08:25

@TwittleBee i sympathise, I've never been so anxious in my life as recently I try to be pretty mellow!
I would definitely get it looked at ASAP though, we ended up going to urgent care who send us to the pregnancy unit, who were amazing. A cyst can be fine but it can rupture or cause ovarian torsion which is serious so if you have one they like to know!

Tefiti2 · 12/01/2019 08:46

@erin4000 how did you get on with your scan? Xx

Koalaby · 12/01/2019 08:47

Hi everyone, can I join? This is number two for me and due on 19th September. Another Christmas day baby here! I've been surprised how different my symptoms have been compared to last time. With my DS I just had very sore boobs from very early on until sickness kicked in at 6/7 weeks. This time my boobs are totally fine (still breastfeeding so that's maybe why?) But I've been having a lot of cramps and small waves of nausea already. I'll try to work out this spreadsheet...

Fortheloveofscience · 12/01/2019 08:59

Twittlebee I hope you get checked out and it’s just your digestive system causing issues. I know mine has been in overdrive the last few days.

I’ve still not called the GP Blush was going to do it yesterday but chickened out. Will definitely sort it out on Monday. Think I can self-refer to community midwives but I’ve also got some admin stuff to sort at the practice so might as well go into reception, sort that out and ask them to put my on the referral list. Don’t think I can cope with speaking to an actual midwife yet Blush.

Took a clear blue digital this morning to get a feel for whether levels are rising as they should and it came back 2-3 weeks which is reassuring when I ovulated 15 days ago. Symptoms seem to be ramping up, now I feel nauseous and cold/shivery if I go too long without eating.

Any idea when it will start to feel ‘real’? This is my first pregnancy and we conceived first cycle so still feel like there’s been some big misunderstanding and I can’t actually be pregnant (as evidenced by the sheer number of tests I have taken!).

Keeping fingers desperately crossed that we all progress smoothly, I can’t wait to get to know you all.

Erin4000 · 12/01/2019 09:29

Hi @Tefiti2 scan was all good thanks 😀 measuring one day behind my dates but saw the heartbeat 😀 xx

Erin4000 · 12/01/2019 09:33

Ps my sickness is so bad 😞 with my daughter I had nothing so this is all new. I’m okay when I’m sitting still but as soon as I move I feel terrible. How are others coping with sickness? X
