September 2019 babies?

abi2790 · 27/12/2018 14:30

Do we have any September due dates yet?

This one came as a big shock for me. I had my coil out on 30th November and must have conceived pretty much straight away. Considering it took quite a long time to get DD, the BFP was a big shock!

This one will be my third!

I'm due 2nd September! Has anyone had their bloods done to check hcg levels? Mine were 10500 at 5 weeks and 6 days (Sunday) x

TwittleBee · 09/01/2019 08:33

Our original aim was 2 under 1 (same as my DSis) as wanted our kids all close in age (currently 6 months between DS and his cousins). That didnt happen after 12 months of TTC so was happy to have 2 under 2 but then that sadly ended in a bloomin MMC!

FX all our babies are sticky ones!

TwittleBee · 09/01/2019 08:34

03cclarke no bloods taken. I see a lot of people get bloods taken, is it due to history that you get bloods done?

Frillyfarmer · 09/01/2019 12:33

We've got a sickness bug in our house! I'm absolutely ravaged from vomiting all bloody night, husband has gone back to bed, baby asleep. I feel absolutely broken today, just trying to keep my fluids topped up, can't think about food just now.

03cclarke · 09/01/2019 12:42

@TwittleBee it's because I called the EPU because I had a bleed so they sent me to get my bloods done xx

TwittleBee · 09/01/2019 12:44

03cclarke all looks well I hope? Sorry you had that scare! With previous pregnancies they've always just sent me for a scan, never had bloods done.

Frilly hope you are all well soon!

Ok if I join.got positive yesterday due 8 September which will be my 2nd baby.my other has just turned 2. Feeling slightly nervous this time round

stroan · 09/01/2019 14:15

I had my booking in appointment this morning. The midwife was lovely, the last one was a bit rude and “forgot” to refer me to the breastfeeding support team.

She’s given me an EDD of 23rd August, based on my LMP but that will definitely change after the first scan. And she’s referring me to the diabetic team to be seen quickly. I had gestational diabetes with DD and would like to start testing my levels and get my diet sorted out.

And now I’m back at the doctors for a flu jab! It all feels a little bit more real now

TwittleBee · 09/01/2019 14:22

stroan great news that you have a lovely MW this time and being dated later at least means you will get a dating scan quicker I suppose?

Abbi Hi there and welcome!

stroan · 09/01/2019 15:19

@twittlebee yes, she said that it might be too early so I might need another one but that she can't guess the date either because then I might miss the window for doing the right measurements.

abi2790 · 09/01/2019 15:21

Im trying to add my edd to the 6th too but I'm not sure how I do it with @wingingit being in there too. Can anybody help?

Stroan well hopefully this might mean you'll get to see your lovely healthy baby twice within a couple of weeks!

abi2790 · 09/01/2019 15:22

Never mind.. I got that wrong! 🤦‍♀️😂

abi I'll add in another row for you

daydreamdaisy · 09/01/2019 15:22

Had an early scan this afternoon due to pains on one side but it turned out to be fine, they think it must have been possibly a ruptured cyst! Saw a gestational sac and a yolk sac which the doctor said was expected for 5+3.
Scanning again when I get to 8 weeks to try and hopefully see more!

Is anyone else worried they don't have many symptoms? I'm just exhausted, boobs a bit tender but I want more Grin

TwittleBee · 09/01/2019 15:22

haha okay!

TwittleBee · 09/01/2019 15:23

daydreamdaisy what a relief! And good luck for the 8 week scan!

WingingIt09 · 09/01/2019 15:41

@hodgeheg92 haha we were similar. Decided in the spur of the moment to start trying earlier than planned in case it took longer and then fell pregnant straight away.

Msd2416 · 09/01/2019 16:33

@WingingIt09 same! We thought might take a few months but looking at the times it pretty much happened straight away! So crazy!

Frillyfarmer · 09/01/2019 16:51

How many weeks do you usually arrange a booking appt at? I can't remember a thing from pregnancy #1!

stroan · 09/01/2019 18:05

@frillyfarmer in my area, they like to do it at around 6 weeks but in my last pregnancy it was 8. Your doctors surgery should keep you right.

Easterbuns1 · 09/01/2019 18:41

I think I've worked out the google doc now, hopefully it's saved ok!

mrss2018 · 09/01/2019 19:02

How are all the ladies who have had previous mc's coping?
I'm getting more and more anxious as the days go on!

TwittleBee · 09/01/2019 19:05

mrss2018 barely coping at all! Hard isn't it! Convinced I'm going to see a BFN or of I do make it to a scan again it will be bad news again

mrss2018 · 09/01/2019 19:13

@TwittleBee I feel like every day lasts an eternity and that I'm just waiting for something bad to happen so can't get excited!
